Just bought one of these as I am new to the AR platform. I just ordered a quad rail for it. I like the CTS-103 optic as well. I was able to get it zeroed and was doing great at 75 yards on my first time out with it.
Got mine a few years ago, so far I’ve placed an AimPoint PRO on it, Magpul furniture including the MBUS flip up sights, ACS-L. buttstock, BAD lever, enhanced ejection port cover and extended mag release. I’ve added a Blackhawk hand guard. Final piece was a ambidextrous safety switch. The only part internally that I saw needed a real upgrade was the trigger, I went with the gen. 2 Rise Armament RA-140 flat bladed trigger….what an amazing difference.
@@s.j.z3515 …with the new heat shield/rail that I installed I can add anything I want. Currently the only thing right now that I own that has a flashlight attached to it is my Remington M877 shotgun.

When I went to this gunship 3 months ago they were sold out of ar.s and I already knew what I wanted because I own the sport 1 I wanted the sport 2 and told them to order me 1 and I got the optics ready with no optics haha

I asked where the red dot was and they said optics ready didn’t come with one. “That’s why it’s called optics ready.” Did I get screwed or do some not come with no sights at all? They sold me some quick deploy Ruger sights for $90.....
I just bought this and find after putting on a Magpul MBUS Pro metal sight on the gas block it is canted. A bit bummed cause I don't want to send it back.
I just got mines 2 weeks ago mine has a aluminum hand guard on it with the scope with the red dot. I was gonna get the one with the iron sight they told me it’s in the way it cause not to get a clear shot. I got mine with out it but it had as a scope on it.
I got the same AR. Ordered a VISM M-Lol hand guard quadrail, red anadized flash guard by strike industries and dust cover🤘🏻😎🤘🏻. Rocking the fmj .562 and I got the 9mm pistol 3.5” barrel
@@BrandonActionJackson Washington state Sucks. But I did get the 30 round mag. I-1639 law here pertaining to semi automatic rifles is why I have to wait.
Dale Pritchard I gotcha yeah that sucks I get this rifle and most others same day with my CWP I would only have to wait a longer period if I wanted something that required a tax stamp from the atf such as a silencer or a short barreled rifle ... in Florida by the way

held up great. scope is pretty cheap but ive never had a problem. I like that it has a green dot function which is what I have to use on this one in the daylight. However I like the sig Romeo 5 more. thats what I have on one I built recently
I paid $800 for mine the day after Brandon got wrongfully installed. Didn’t care about prices, I just wanted an AR because they were becoming scarce. This is actually a sweet little gun.
Jake Foxx mine is even heavier after adding accessories. But Ars are naturally heavier in the front. A bull pup where the mag is behind the trigger is more centrally balanced.

The CT red dot is garbage. The battery goes dead really quickly and it won't stay sighted in. A real piece of garbage. The rifle on the other hand is great!!

Can you add a laser beam or flash light attachments
