Great watch mate! Weather could of been better by look of it but ground looked ok Horse plot ground was ploughing down lovely! Those parasols are a great addition for sun or rain🙂. Only the z7 every seem to have had canopy’s.
@@Dave.w-ev9qn1962 cheers, aye it dried about dinner time the ground wasn't to bad just round where the engines were stood, aye it was first time seeing horse ploughing so was interesting to see where cable ploughing came from, aye mostly just the colonial engines had cannopys in terms of ploughing engines and normally just tin sheet wasn't it
@@HeritageVideosbyJSouthward yes nothing special for a canopy, just few sheets galvanise! I’ve done fare bit ploughing with horses, hear in cornwall with small irregular fields they uses two way ploughs. Not much different from the cable plough really, only single furrow. And you don’t have to plough round your start, you can just plough one side the field to the other. There a lovely thing to plough with!👍
@@HeritageVideosbyJSouthward it can be very relaxing, but if the horses are not having a good day neither will you!😀 It’s all down to respect and trust between you and your horses. And the more work the horses do they know exactly what there doing. When it goes well it’s a very rewarding thing to do👌
@@Dave.w-ev9qn1962 I can imagine the main pair I was videoing at the nationals, the fellow working them said its taken 2 years for them to listen to his commands. They were certainly a stubborn pair I've just put a video up purely of the horse ploughing. It's certainly something I'll watch more next year.

The idea is right enough especially if they could get into some decent sized fields, l wonder how much an acre they would charge for that operation.
