Well she took a very very long break. Worked some indie films but not much else. Got married, had a kid, lived a life and came back years later. I think that definitely helped.
@egogo816 Exactly, she took a break for like 6 years. Happily she was able to afford giving that to herself. Sadly I didn’t get to grow up with her but these past few years I started looking up to her a lot and she’s such a great person, I have nothing but good things to say about her. Not saying anyone younger is bad tho, because there are younger people that are also really great, inspiring and admirable like Hilary 🥰

She’s so charismatic and honest, it feels like she would be an amazing person to talk about life. And she may not like her last album breathe in breathe out (idk if that’s what she’s talking about when answered the questions) but that’s how I met her and that album is pop gold, so dramatic with smart lyrics and nice stories for the songs, I love it
She didn't like her metamorphosis album actually😊 Which I really loved when I was younger.

Hilary proves it’s possible to be a child star and not grow up to be a terrible person or mentally scarred by it. She seems so lovely I like the fact she doesn’t feel that just because she is famous she can ask for free things. This just showed a hard working mother who is a genuinely nice person. I forgot at times it was a lie detector show.

I love herr oh my god it's like reconnecting with an old friend, before social media I didn't know very much about her at all besides the interviews she had or the movies she starred in. My mom and dad surprised me with tickets to her first tour and I swear it was like a revolutionary shift for me lmao. I'm 27 and I still remember as a 9 yr old the outfit she was wearing, where I saw her, and when she came out on stage. She was such a huge part of my childhood

Wow thats crazy! I was going to type a comment & it literally was exactly as you said it.. so weird how most girls who were fans of Hilary can relate to this. My mom surprised me with tickets I was probably 7-8 years old I remember the place the concert was at & it was for the album of hers which I believe is self titled & I loved her rock era & knew every lyric. Lol I remember sitting on the left side of the stage in the nosebleeds & reaching out to her trying to touch her hand & she reached for me as well it was the best day of my life as a kid lol she was also wearing shiny silver shorts & a yellow tube top in Columbus, Ohio. I love this woman. I grew up watching her and now my daughter and I watch her old stuff together (particularly A Cinderella Story and Raise your voice) and she loves her music. It’s nostalgic to me and there’s still no better role model in my opinion. Love love love her.

Hilary Duff's Metamorphosis tour was my first concert. I was in second grade and I remember saving up all of my birthday and Christmas money to buy a ticket. I'm so happy to hear she lives a "normal life" and still seems genuinely happy with her life.

I can see why celebrities don’t have to wait in line at Disneyland/big amusement parks, because if they do then fans in the line can literally mob them, especially if the celebrity is really well known. So it makes sense if the celebrity gets to skip the line because being mobbed in a line for a ride can be dangerous for the celebrity and everyone around. Celebrities (like the Disney ones etc) are lucky though that they can get in Disneyland for free. Also makes sense because I’ll admit, if I was a celebrity that grew up in the Disney channel then of course I’d also wanna get in for free haha anyone that was on the Disney channel and grew up to continue to be famous would want to
