Joe. Another interesting operating session. The scenery is fabulous. Staging is now stub ended with most of the hidden problems mitigated. So for operating sessions ease, WJSA-35 originates in Browns Yard then ties up in staging (Bank?). IF you wanted to shove and leave a train with engines, cars and a caboose ready to come out of staging would this train actually originate in staging and terminate in Browns Yard and have a return trip the next day OR just be a turn out of staging to Browns Yard and back? Could this train just be a turn from Browns Yard to staging and back? In any case how are you able to uncouple cars after a shove into hidden staging? I always look forward to you next session. Mike
Thanks Mike. During sessions with guests it would be staged at "Bank" the stub ended staging, run to Browns and back. But I really don't want to leave the locomotive to be stored in staging, because I like to run them between sessions , to avoid any maintenance problems. The only problem is that on the prototype Red Bank does not have a yard office. So for modeling/paperwork purpose the crew has to call from Browns Yard, then the crew has to take a "jitney" over to Red Bank. I uncoupled with a little "movie magic", I reached under the layout and uncouple by hand, lol! thanks for you questions and input.
@@centraljerseyconrailinnsca5676 Joe. Perhaps part of the WJSA-35 operating session with guests work could include actually moving the "jitney" from Browns Yard yard office parking lot to the visible entrance of Bank and as a last move, back to the parking lot before tying up. lol! As far as staging goes, perhaps the last train action could be a run around and then a shove move of the cut of cars and caboose into Bank, cut the engine off and let the train ROLL down to Bank. 🙂 It's your railroad. Mike
Great Video ! What looks good on paper does always work in real world.

I like that the U25B's are being used. Great video, Thanks for sharing!
Yes, Ed believe it or not they are second hand atlas units, and they are my favorite and best running units on the layout.
