Wow you're a gem . Thank you for all the work you do . I am new to gov con and you explain everything so well . I feel So confident bidding . Thank you
Great video and information today that you have put out like you do all the time and we thank you for helping a lot of people out there need this training I will pass it along glad you're feeling better and congratulations on your book
Awesome stream! After watching this video I did a little research into the "sub" I was considering getting into bed with. Turns out the company is not only Canadian-based, but is also not-so-small! I have already been communicating with them about the job, but should easily be able to pivot to another sub as the bid due date is still one week out. Thank you so much for the helpful information! Side note, I was actually tracking the grounds maintenance contract in WV! I decided not to pursue it, due to my net being cast a little too far at the moment. Thought that was funny. Subscribed and looking into ordering your book.
Hey Derek...South Florida Ron...I heard about tou being sick hope your feeling better...And Sorry about the Passing of your family Missed ya yesterday...Let's START talking about how the staffing part of these Solit.Enties ge paid if there hourly...Do we work these issues with the CO ?
Thanks, Ron! For staffing, you would submit and invoice based on hours worked for the period (typically per month). So, with staffing, you will float the first month (or two) when you first when the award and be reimbursed once the invoices start getting paid.
Greetings Derek! I am seeing most contract opportunities now have a section stating to "Please Request Role: This opportunity has controlled attachments. You need a role to access them." this is under the attachments section and right above the Contacts Information. I think this is new because I wasn't seeing this before. What's your experience with that? I imagine it might be necessary to get all the attachments that come with the opportunity. I tried to do what it says as far as requesting a role (whatever that means) but haven't been able to yet.
Welcome! You can put the focal point on the services you plan to offer and the agencies intend to target. Don’t overthink the cap statement, though. Instead, start bidding as quickly as you can so you can start learning.
The reason I'm asking about Consulting because with Regular Contracts we need money...But with Consulting A business that's got Experience and Etc. We don't because the business we are helping has ALL THE YADA YADA YADA Is that right ?
No, it is different. You apply for our CAGE code through SAM.gov and it gets issued to you by the DLA over a 2-week to 2-month period typically. You will complete a few dozen pages of information on SAM that will take about 45 minutes and then click submit for your registration application.
I will get on this. Now if a solicitation is asking for a cage code does this not qualify us to bid? Even if we’ve applied for it? Thank you man I’ve learned so much from your style and knowledge. Appreciate it my brother!

South Florida Ron Just got my Cage...
Can we talk about Consulting ?
How does the Gov. PAY for staffing one or two people etc ?
How do you check if they have a cage code ?
Ask them straight up when you call them. Do you have cage code? Have you been doing govcon?
You can look up their entity in Sam.gov starting with business name
I it a bid in for this shredder
Awesome! What a coincidence!

Also sorry about your Father IN Law and your Sixkness
