I don't fear uphill, its downhill on loose gravel and turns that screws me up. Its hard to not grab to much front brake when you feel out of control in that situation. Appreciate your videos, as a fairly new rider and older person, its helping my skills. LOL

There is only a few of you out there, people who makes videos about how to ride, that actually CAN ride. I know I will never be able to half of what you do, but still I really enjoy watching. Keep up the good work :)
Crazy how much control someone like you instinctively has over that bike. I rip my bike and it’s bouncing me around half the time. Was glorious watching you rip up that hill
Absolutely love seeing the legend himself back on dirt bikes. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy your adventure bike videos but you are the man that got me to buy a dirt bike and your videos helped me practice on it. I remember taking so much from The Prodigy series and now this series is giving me so much more to practice. Your a legend that has given so much advice over the years. Though I don’t believe I’ll ever get to the skill level your at, I inspire to get close. Thank you Mr. Riemann!
39year old rider. Have really feel in love with riding these Austria 2 stroke cross country bikes. For the past 4 years have put in work and time riding bikes. Have learned so much because these newer bikes are a lot different than they used to be. Don’t take the skin off the pudding!!!!
I would love a video on personal protection for trail/off road/ adventure etc. Like, when to use MX stuff, when to use abrasion gear. When to combine the two etc.
Adam , loads of good advice There , like what you said about lift your vision look up the hill and pick your line , Keep up the good work ,riders both experienced and newbie can gain a lot from you cleaver footage and clear and concise explanations .
On Vancouver Island - Part of a Dual Sport Club. This video really helped me a lot. Watched this many times and it gave me the courage to do tougher hills.
Hi Adam, really enjoyed that video. It’s difficult to concentrate sometimes though with comments like “pig rooter” and “don’t pull the skin off the pudding” thrown in. Looking forward to the “twig jumping” episode. Love your work. 🇦🇺
I have a biggish hill to climb here in Greece with a lot of water damage,I will practice what you say"😀 our wise leader "and report back when i can. Thanks so much for the great content!
Clear and simple explanation for newbies like me Adam.....so far i have been able to "jump" a couple of matchsticks, ice-block sticks next...onwards and upwards!! 👌🤓
Great video Adam. It really helps being on a very light dirt bike. At least for me. Growing up in Southern California we had very technical riding in the mountains. Had a susuki tm400 that was great for hill climbs. Now at 70 things have gotten way difficult. But videos like yours are helping me remember what do to do. Sure would be nice if you could add some slow motion in portions of your videos.
Great video Adam, I am ok uphill most times, what really scare me its the missus finding the receipt from the local bike shop !! stay safe Adam great channel
These tips are super relevant.. not only for the enduro boys but also for the Adv guys.. when riding into a new mountain pass.. you got just tackle it as far as you see it… slow n steady Sometimes it carries on for km’s So you stop to check the view out😎 And then carry on into the next valley n the pass thereafter 🤘
The fun starts when you’re halfway up, just clicked down into 2nd as you make it thru the blind chicane, only to find a 6” log a ft off the ground! Now you’re climbing hills in the PNW!
🏍️💨 Always a pleasure learning from you Adam. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I have a te300i and it’s great to hear someone of your caliber speak well of it after riding it. Now, to practice more with it and my new Norden.
Nice skills demonstration, Adam. A few words about lower tire pressure would help too. Here in the PNW of the USA we run Tubliss in the rear sticky knobby tire so we can air down to zero psi if necessary to get up the hill. You can double the traction by doubling the contact patch.
Another useful video. I had a bad crash going downhill as realised had no back brake and ma body position was to far forward and then applied to much front and went over the bars snapping ma collar bone, and needed platted with 8 screws. Can’t wait to get back on the bike and applying these tips. Keep safe and hope you get better soon ✊🤘🏾
I have the same bikes as you. T7 and TE300 and I really like it. I've been riding motorcycles for maybe 10 years and I love the terrain. And I liked your videos the most now. I have a lot of these experiences than what you are talking about. But you got me into everything what I'm missing. For example, adding power only when I have traction, I was doing it wrong. Thanks you wery much for this advice.
Hills and river crossings are so fun. Just put your trust in the bike and send it. I’d like to see a video on doing this with street tires. Sometimes I encounter a gnarly mountain road on my KTM 990smt.
I'm right at home on a 300, it's the big bikes that I'm less confident climbing a hill, or really more important, going down something I can't get back up.
man I've always been good at hills, I spent a lot of my early child hood on the hills in the south west. Also the clayish soil in my area is mad rn in winter, just adds an extra factor to think about. anyway great video mate
I know that loving look you gave the 300 husky ! Got a current generation 300 EXC and its a genuine do all weapon. Got a T7 and 500EXC also but the 300 EXC is the most fun you can have with your pants on.
Hey man i am about to get my first dirt bike I am a skilled roader and a lot of experience with 4x4 in vehicles so I figured I will get the hang of it quick smart but very confusing choice... What wins for u te300 or 300exc and the other i had in mind was 525exc or wr250f ? What would you pick if it was you in my shoes
@@begunthisfeelingandaninsti1853 The TE 300 and 300 EXC are the same bike except for the rear suspension linkage. Either bike would be an excellent choice.
Big fan here, i absolutely love your videos and tutorials. Your videos with the Tenere 700 are the ones that got me into the world of motorcycling, and convinced me to start my driving school. About 6 months later after watching my first ARiemann1 video, i finally finished the driving courses and a week ago I just got my moto driving license in the mail and i can't wait to get my first bike. I would love to see you ride a single cylinder BMW F650GS ( or even the Dakar version; the 2000-2007 models) and throwing it around corners in drifts and jumps, i'm really curious if the bike can be handled that way. What do you think, could the bike be up for the task? I would have loved a Tenere 700 but the price is way out of my league, but the BMW is pretty affordable on the used market. Thanks, and cheers!
Got my license last year and bought F650GS 2004 model as my first bike. I clocked around 10k km so far and i can recommend this bike for a first bike. Eventually i wanna get hands on the T7 aswell but as you said, those are really expensive.
Think about what riding you aim to do. How much will be paved, how much gravel, how much off road/trail. One advice that a lot of people echo is to get a 250cc if you aim to learn proper off road techniques. Its a lot easier to learn on a 150kg bike than a 250kg bike. Imagine you aim to learn to parallel park a car. Which one is easiest to learn on, a minicooper or a truck? The mini ofc.
@@youp2ss do you have the basic model f650gs or the Dakar? I just found out that the Dakar does not come with ABS, and i was wondering if it is really necessary considering i would want to ride the bike all year round meaning the rain season too
@@jace4817 i guess it will about 50/50 considering the bad roads in my country. I initially wanted to get a bike to throw it around in offroad but it being quite a big investment i say it’s just better to get a bike that does it all, road and off road. Praise the T7!
@@ValentinBeeeeee I have basic f650gs with abs and heated grips from factory. You dont really need abs when you learn how to brake on different surfaces. I would get dakar version for sure. Sadly no dakar in my country.
