i take my creatine everyday at 9:11. Never forget
actually a great joke i can’t believe it doesn’t have likes
😆
Hha this dudes ready for another attack like creatine Gunna get him out of it 😂 beast
Not funny
Legend
But don't freak out if you miss a day or multiple days. Simply get back on schedule. There is nothing special to do.
You might want to take a bit extra to make up for it buy yea it's not a big deal
Yeah but only to an extent, if you miss one day then take two doses sure but if you miss a week don't go taking 40g, that will have no effect
I missed creatine once and I never walked again
I take 5g six days a week. I fast on Saturdays. So I miss one day a week going on 83 weeks in a row now. I haven’t noticed a difference.
@@MoarCheeseBirbWhen creatine uncreates your legs

Dry scooping creatine like a beast. 😂
wdym
fill the scoop and just dump it in your mouth and then drink water @@tunabestfish
@@tommydee3765 yeah ik
I tried doing it, would not recommend
There are two types of people who take creatine. The kind who raw dog it like this, and the kind who mix this flavorless powder into any beverage like a normal human being
Great post!I put my creatine in my coffee every morning.Had concerns as I train in the evening. But,this post eases my concerns.👏🏻😊
5 gram ??
I do that same thing bro. But I add mine to my coffee enemas.
That has to taste absolutely awful
absolute psycho drinking creatine with coffee
@@corey5702 yea there's some screws loose here. It does not sound tasty at all.
Glad to see you dry scoop your Creatine as well!
Lmao when he just scooped the dry S right in there. Such a Dr Mike thing to do 😂😂😂
Just wake up and exercise every morning, train cardio and strength in a balanced routine. Eat decent food and make sure you hydrate well, big muscles are good in short burst but do not help in the long run, make your body healthy don't modify your body
Creatine helped me with cardio knocking out those extra miles
Taking a scoop of dry creatine straight to the face! What a man!
Or idiot
Who doesn't dry scoop? It's literally tasteless
@@Alex-ve1ogIsn’t that unsafe.
@Alex-ve1og but why dry scoop? Is it literally to save the little tiny bits that remain in the bottle/shaker?
@@jamjam1I can't speak for everyone, but I dry scoop things because I just want it to be done without having to worry about chugging the drink while it's still cold, and I'm lazy and don't want to dirty extra shakers.
I love the dry scoop Mike, great minds think alike!!
first day I take creatine i notice it right away and it definitely gives me added strength for another rep or two and that's right from the first dose so I definitely disagree but only on that part.... I've cycled it on and off for years and after a couple month layoff the first dose does works every single time
Didn’t the creatine works by saturation? Meaning that it would take you to saturate your muscles with it before you feel the actual benefits from it. I also read from several sources that cycling creatine is a myth, there is no evidence that shows cycling it is better than just taking it daily, if anything it will just consume the levels of creatine you gained and you will have to start from bottom the saturation process
Thank you for this valuable information.
Please, Dr. Mike, thanks as always for ALL the informative stuff, but could you consider Ashton Hall/Max Euceda for the next Work-Out Critique-Video ? I think both of em got impressive physique, form and dedication, would LOVE to hear your input on them !
(Day 3 I think, I’m sorry but this keeps me thinking 🙏)
I’ll try mine again. When my nutrition was off this spring, I’d bloat so much it looked like I was at the end of my second trimester (menopausal so that’s impossible 😂). Now I’m dialed in and well into a good recomp to prep for hip replacement this fall I’ll see how it goes.
My pre workout is my "coffee". Wake up, chug a glass of water, dilute pre workout in my to-go cup, take a gulp or two, s(h)it, shower, shave, and go. Drink to-go bottle halfway and fill it multiple times per day. Dosing all day.
I take it with my morning whey shake. Never forget.
I take it as either a morning drink or post morning workout drink. It depends on whether I workout that day because it is mixed with my protein powder. Whenever it is a time you won't forget is the best time to take it.
Just like anything in life worth doing, be consistent at it.
People that just swallow creatine: are u ok
I've never been ok. So just eating the powder is par for the course for me.
I put it in coffee because it doesn’t taste like anything
You might want to look up about taking creatine with coffee. There was something about creatine not absorbing optimally when mixed with coffee
Yes I just have a weird thing for particles in my drink. I’d rather dry scoop it
@@ilarirantala7402 There's no difference
Anybody else getting this video while drinking my creatine?
Creatine load by taking 2.5g with dextrose 8 times a day every 1.5 hours ~ for 2 days will expand your overall muscle-size by around 6-8 pounds -
Learned this from a an article by a Doctor -
WORKS BALLS!!
Great advice! Thanks for just laying it down simple!
I could watch this guy most days. Very astute guy.
Taking creatine any time of day keepin ya big as hell!
I take mine right before I work out as I like that routine
I’ve always just mixed it with my pre workout
Thank you for spreading the word, sending this to all the bros who take creatine like pre 😅
If you are serious about training, you will do what I do: have an IV of creatine and whey protein 24/7.
I like a cute effect
😆
God the skull is beautiful
Consistency is the hardest battle all around.
Thanx bro for kicking the facts
Pay attention TikTok ers
I chuck mine on my cereal in the morning lol
That sound awful
outragous behaviour
I take mine right before bed every night. Easy to remember, easy to do, probably good to have it at its most abundant during the hours I’m repairing and growing anyway.
I use to take creatine in 2019 with my last cycle of steroids. Most people dont understand how creatine works I used 2 scoops of creatine now follow me I cycled creatine 4 times a day at 20 grams a day and two of them with my post workout meal two scoops of protein I put all this in a bowl 2 scoops of protein regular oats cut strawberries up , blueberries, and half a apple warmed all that up two minutes in the microwave then added water and 10grams 2 scoops of creatine monohydrate stired it all up worked best with carbs .
I put it in my morning cup of tea. It dissolves really well and doesnt affect the flavour
Always great content
You just reminded me to take my creatine, thanks! 🎉
First video brilliant
I love Dr Mike's no-hype content.
It's like a dry scoop of creatine, taken regularly.
Also, do coffee and creatine in the morning and workout in the evening. Tomorrow, I'm going to see if I can beast mode the dry creatine straight in my mouth! So, I tried it. It's a good thing I had my coffee nearby. Lol
I've got a liquid restriction as I've got no kidneys nor liver! End stage. So it is important that I simply don't drink liquid as much as I can.
So I tried gunning a scoop. Nearly choked trying to down my whey. Not enough Salvia, and it sat there getting thicker and thicker in my mouth hah. It was a terrible idea.
Yet I could mix 30 grams of whey isolate 90 with like 1 or 2 ounces of cranberry juice no problem.
It comes out like a thick brownie batter. I have no idea how people drink these huge jugs, and then go work out with all that liquid sloshing in their God damn stomach.
Do yourselves a favor. Just make it a thick liquid. Stomach will thank you, and no matter how nasty it is you can just down it.
Unless of course you were hydrating yourself, but why?! It's still usually bad tasting.
I take it in my morning coffee with sugar. Same time every day, and I never forget it.
Mike'O'Hearn called you out Mike 😂 Challenge him to a charity boxing match 🥊

Mike O Hearn is a wally, who will end his days as a sad lonely man
This good to know. I’ve been taking mine at night in my protein drink, because that’s the easiest and most convenient way for me to do it.
Good to know!
I use the the same Body Armor brand of creatine from the Vitamin Shoppe and my personal trainer Nick Perillo prompted me to take it after my workouts too
I like kre-alkaline creatine. Reportedly a much higher absorption rate and it can be taken about 30 minutes before a workout and not every day. I've noticed similar effects to normal creatine monohydrate and I don't have to take it daily.
Best time to take creatine is when you can afford it lol.
You can buy like 500 grams monohydrate from gymbeam for almost nothing. Creatine is really cheap, you don't have to fall for the brands.
@@Alex-G23yup exactly. Unflavored and a big tub is so cheap. Lasts a long time too if you're not loading
Its like 200 full servings of unflavored for 40 bucks dude
I bought creatine monohydrate and it was $21 for a 6 month supply (1kg). Bidenomics got it up around $33 now though.
@@dmiller4088I really don’t see how people say “it’s so expensive”, I understand accessibility can play a role, but I can get Warrior CMH, 2 months supply (roughly) for about £14, but even as the other guy just mentioned, gymbeam is even cheaper and I’d never heard of them, definitely going to delve a bit deeper and see what I can get
I always say that cratine is not like caffeine that does the effect after you take it, and there is a time window.
I found the best effect when I started taking it with citruline malate as my pre workout
'by a very small fraction' May as well have said it's basically like doing a cycle because that's what everyone will hear as long as there are gains to be made.
Even his eyelid muscles are twitching
About the only video with no bs from Dave... 😂
Best to take with preworkout o intra workout with Bcaa eaa glutamine electrolytes carbs for recovery and you want creatin to be in sistem blood when you start pumping so the blood can transport it where you need it most in muscle what you train that’s how you shuld take it when you train pump will push creatin straight in muscle
Back in the day (late 90s and early 2000s) we used to take creatine with dextrose (glucose powder) mixed with 1-2 scoops of whey protein post workout. It was a time of crazy gains and crazy sugar crashes LmAO!
I’ve just started getting in shape I’m 43 I’ve stopped drinking every night and I’m on a diet and in gym trying to get lean week in on creative 🙏😬
With my coffee and slow release niacin for excellent hemo dilation
It's like investing. Time in the market is superior to anything else
Creatine first thing in the morning, second dose before workout on training days😊
I just mix it in with my pre-workout. It doesn’t have a taste but by itself it’s chalky. The pre-workout masks it and tastes delicious anyway.
I make half gallon jug of water for work everyday. I throw a scoop of creatine and a pack of salt electrolytes in it, sometimes a scoop of pre if I didn't sleep well.
Doesn't the tub say you have to ingest it 15 minutes upon mixing? Is the creatine you haven't drank after 15 minutes being utilized?
Buy a flavored one and drink it in a bottle of water in the morning. Then you start your day off hydrating and getting your creatine and Its an easy routine
I take it as soon as I wake up. I have a Flavored kind and mix it with some water to get some liquids in me as soon as I get up.
I just take it with the water I take to the gym as I find it really convenient. Creatine and protein in a water that I'm always going to drink anyway as I can't do sports without it.
The timing of creatine and caffeine intake has been a topic of discussion, but the evidence is mixed. Here’s a summary of what’s known:
1. Potential Negative Interaction: Some studies suggest that caffeine might interfere with the effectiveness of creatine. One study from the 1990s found that taking caffeine and creatine together reduced creatine’s benefits on muscle power. The exact mechanism isn’t well understood, but it may involve caffeine’s impact on muscle relaxation or its effects on the nervous system.
2. Timing Matters: If there is an interaction, it might depend on the timing. Taking caffeine and creatine at the same time could be problematic, while taking them hours apart might reduce any negative effects.
3. Mixed Research Findings: Other studies have found no significant interaction between the two. This suggests that the impact might vary based on individual responses, the specific timing, and the doses used.
4. Practical Consideration: If you’re concerned about potential interactions, you might try separating your creatine and caffeine intake by several hours. For example, if you take creatine before a workout, you could have your caffeine (if you consume it) earlier in the day or afterward.
Overall, more research is needed to fully understand the interaction, but if you’re not noticing any negative effects, you may not need to be overly concerned.
Creatin before the workout, always.
I make a chimichurri with 1 scoop of wey protein, 5 g creatine, 1 spoon of sugar and a litle bit of salt . Have it before going to the gim
I mix 5g of creatine in with my protein shake n take that within 30 mins of me finishing my workout, ive been taking creatine since last thursday ( its friday in nz when i posted this comment ) but i did miss it out on sunday, i work out 6 days a week sunday is my days off
Dry scoop. Wash it down with a Monster Java. Gains acquired 🎉
Most people have other things in their creatine as well. So if you take gorilla mode or anything that has beta alanine, L-arginine etc.. take it 1-2 hours before working out with a good amount of water leading up to the workout for best effects. No reason to complicate it like this
With my morning protein shake, I add creatine, coffee, green tea extract and what ever weird stuff I'm trying at the time.
So my question is, are you supposed to take your creatine on days you're not working out? I work out 5-6 days a week but on my off days I am not taking creatine.
I’m not Dr. Mike, but yes, you should take it daily, even when you’re not working out. As he said in the video, it’s a supplement that builds in your body over time. It’s also shown to be good for your brain, let alone your muscles.
Dry scoop. Protein after post workout
I always feel more energy during my workout if I take creatine immediately before I start.
Dry scooping creatine is diabolical. The non soluble powdery taste when i take it makes my stomach curl even with a drink
I take it before heading out to work along with a scoop of protein
I remember when they used to have creatine loading phases. Another way for the company to sell more product.
In my morning coffee at 3am every day.
Please explain why carbs help when taking? When all natural sources have none carbs inn it ?
I have a question. From what I understand, there are large amounts of creatine in red meat. So the question is, if I eat a lot of red meat, is it still necessary to take creatine supplements?
It made me stronger
Creating is also hard on the kidneys
Same as training itself: when you can do it and wont skip it. :) Better doing at a suboptimal time than not at all.

Mix it with my preworkout, quick and easy and I’ll never forget bc I always take preworkout lol
Can you talk about women workout changes after menopause
My question is: you've talked a lot about the general benefits of creatine for everyone regardless of activity level. Do those non-bodybuilders also get the gains in visible muscle volume due to water retention?
You always surprise us!
I just put it in my coffee in the morn
That's an enormous tub of creatine 😮
✅️ noted
I mix mine with 40 oz of water and a packet of liquid IV and sip it over the course of 3-4 hours.
First thing In the morning every day
So I've been boofing my creatine for preworkout this whole time for no reason?
I have a daily reminder in my phone.
I put mine in my morning coffee everyday
There's also caffeine in pre-workout which is a diuretic, working in opposition to creatine.
