Thank you! This might just be just the thing I'm looking for. I work on an old wooden drafting table that I have set to nearly vertical with my iPad currently attached using a full-edged case that's stuck to the table using velcro Command Strips. Problem is, getting my iPad off the table to carry with me is a real pain. Those two bolts on the back of the plate of the stand, those will allow you to detached the plate from the base? If so, I could detach it and bolt it to my table and then be able to just grab my iPad off of the magnets. Unless someone knows something that might accomplish the same thing for maybe less money and waste. Thanks again for another great video that actually solves a problem I'm having right now.
You can probably remove the two bolts behind. I did not try it myself though. This stand can hold the iPad Pro vertically. Not sure if you still need your drafting table to be vertical. Note that this stand only supports iPad Pro and iPad Air with the thin bezels.
My main concern with metal stands like this one is the rubber feet on the bottom. I have had many metal stands, and can’t tell you how many times those rubber feet have fallen off, leaving the stand wobbly (and no, superglue won’t make it better). I’d love to hear from you again after 3-6 mo of regular usage to see if those rubber feet stayed in place.
Hi Teoh, I listened to your advice not buying the M1 iPad but went with the refurbished 2020 one and I LOVE IT. However, the screen is too big and at night, I want the iPad to be higher and sitting on my torso/belly so my hands are free and to avoid neck problems. Do you recommend using these stands for that purpose? I mean.. it's kinda ridiculous to put a heavy stand onto your belly LOL. Hope you could share some of your insight thoughts! Thank you and I love your videos :)
Nice review. I will be getting this! BTW to remove sticker residue slide some coconut oil over the stickiness with finger, let sit for 20-30 mins and wipe off. :)
Does these lululook magnetic stand work Or not for also other tablets such as samsung galaxy s7, lenova or just it is limited to ipad or different ipads please tell me bro
Nice review! I've been considering buying an ipad in a near future and have been wondering how to use it on a stand like a monitor For the sticker residue I recommend rubbing alcohol! Just rub some with a soft sponge or cloth and it will go away instantly
@Teoh Yi Chie Do you think I can cut off the protective slip for the Apple Pencil on the ESR case? Will the cover remain attached to the screen when shaken?
There's no need to cut the Apple Pencil grip. It will still charge. It's just that because there's something in between the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, the magnet won't be as strong. Cover will remain on the screen when shaken because there's a flap that goes to the back. There's no way to open the cover without first pulling the flap from behind.
@@teohyc thank you. My ambiguous expression 😅. By “slip” I mean “flap.” Sorry. When I cut off the flap, will the magnetic force be sufficient enough for the cover to remain attached to the screen while shaken? (Like the Apple Smart Folio design? I would, but decide against using it, because of its porous polyurethane surface affinity to permanently absorb grease.)
@@vonoxid Magnets are not strong enough to hold the front cover onto the back cover. You need the flap. Actually the flap is very useful just for holding the front cover to back cover. Many flip cases don't come with that flap and will have the problem of the floppy front cover on the back.
Sincerely this is the only stand that comes into serious consideration for me to use.
The new iMac Mini is looking good!

The rubber feet on these one looks well attached. If they do fall off you can just buy generic rubber feet online to replace them.
you can also just buy anti skid matting to ne place on top of your table
You should do ASMR, your voice is kinda amazing. Been watching them to pass out to. 😎🔥
Buying because you recommended it!! 🙌🏼💯
Get the 2nd version

This stand has a small base and will not balance well on your belly. Consider the Parblo PR100 stand instead
man, thank you! if I have ipad pro 12.9, i'll definitely buy these!
The good thing also is that you can just put the stand resting on the table so the iPad is touching the table if you want to have it lower
Bless you and family Teoh , that is a wonderful review and option to upgrade for art classes :)
bro, if you put on it Macbook air m1, will it stick with the magnet to it? Can you try it out if you have chance?
Can I use it with Samsung Galaxy tab s7
Can the one with the circle hole tilt all the way forward so that the iPad is facing downward somewhat?
Wow! That's amazing! Just wondering if you can use a Samsung S7 or S7+ on it?
It's not compatible with Samsung tablets.
@@teohyc thank you for answering. 😊

wow this is a good stand!!!
it looks super sleek!
The ipad pro stand is the same design as the imac fixed stand.
Does these lululook magnetic stand work Or not for also other tablets such as samsung galaxy s7, lenova or just it is limited to ipad or different ipads please tell me bro
It's limited to iPad and to specific models of iPads. Because different iPads have different magnet locations.

This stand supports iPad Pro and iPad Air with the slim bezels
Gasoline is much more effective.
Can you use it with a case (not a magnetic case, just a normal case)?
It's possible to use it with a case but the case has to be thin enough. Those slim flip cases (the ones that don't protect the sides) can work.
I know it says iPad Pro and Air 4 but, wont this work on my air 2?
Nice review.. is in my list to get this
Very useful video,,,thank you
I want the product but simailr product in UK, price is twice expensive from ones in China and South Korea..more than twice..
Thank you!
Shame they don't make them for the galaxy s pen light
Thank you for the review. It's a shame it doesn't charge the iPad as well. Though I think it would increase the price by another 100 USD.
iPad doesn't support wireless charging, yet.
won't the strong magnet affect the drive and other components??
Probably not because Apple put them inside the iPads
How does a magnet this strong not ruin the iPad?
Have you tried it with the tab s7+ yet?
Doesn't work with Tab S7+ because magnets are at different positions.
@@teohyc good to know!
Can you guys suggest any likethese magnetic stand for samsung galaxy s7,/,plus
I've not seen magnetic stands like this made for Tab S7/+

Use some isopropyl alcohol to remove the glue.
wow 😯
does anyone know if this works wit the galaxy tab s7+? thank you
Does not work because magnets are not in the right locations.
@@teohyc i figured. Thank you.
That’s a lot of trust lol
Weak…not holding my ipad pro
👎🏼👎🏼
Why?
@@teohycBecause of those patches that has in the metal. The lastest version has like a smooth pad all over the metal part that hold the ipad.
