So one thing to note and this is for the pitaka folio case is that the clasp for the Apple Pencil actually has a spot to sit behind the iPad directly when not in use so it doesn’t just flap around if you look at the amazon listing for it one of the pictures does clearly display that.
One of the best reviewer for accessories on UA-cam, just the best! Have subscribed to him from so many years now and whenever I need an accessory either for my iPhone or iPad or any other thing, this guy is my go to guy. Gives a very practical usage point of view of every accessory and an amazing job of comparing the accessories too! Earlier I used to be little annoyed by his style of presenting, but later, I just ignored his style and concentrated on the content he creates which is just the best and very practical!

Drat. Just ordered a cover. I originally ordered the otterbox product fromApple and it was rubbish. The cover over the charging area was loose and the pencil kept falling off. I may just have to wait for the new zugu.
I can confirm Zugu is the best. I’ve had my ipad for 3 years with the case which has not faltered since. I am considering a new case for cheaper but I am not in a rush because the Zugu case still has life.
That dog scared me because I was worried he was taxidermy but eventually he moved & I was relieved. Appreciate the real reviews & not just an endless ad.
Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your videos! For some reason, I always find what exactly I’m looking for in your vids. Watching these on my 12.9 pro 2020 when I had to cut my budget to just a meal a day for 3 months just to afford it from a non-authorized dealer. Not my best decision, I know. But the point is, it’s still kicking because I went with the cases/protectors that you recommend. I hope you continue to make real review videos!
Whenever I get a new situation because of a new job or changes at home. These are the videos I look for when I look for the accessories to fit that new lifestyle change. Also anyone think the volume is a little low?
I have an IPad Pro and my case has a built in hub that has a bunch of ports and an 1/8 inch headphone jack. I also uses a pen/stylus that has a rubber end that I got from the 99 cent store. Works just fine. 😊
Please start testing other accessories such as the ROG Ally, Steam Deck, Lenovo GO cases and accessories that would be perfect to go alongside with them (i.e screen protectors, thumbstick grips, and battery banks that would last the longest with these devices). I have been a follower of this channel since less than 20K subs and would be really nice if you guys expanded to other things too. Would be right up your alley since these devices are all to take with you anywhere and to be *mobile* with.
I love the Combo Touch - in fact. I’m using it now - but it has a really annoying flaw for me when tap-to-click is enabled: it doesn’t disable the trackpad while typing, so I’ll be typing away, my finger or palm will brush the trackpad, and now I’m typing somewhere else.
What are the best kids cases for ipad 10th gen? Also doing a best ipad kids cases comparison would be really good. Thanks. Your videos are always very informative and useful.
Will you be updating the links to the Keybaord Cases and Screen protectors that work with the new iPads that have the camera at the top and the magnets match up.
Honestly I have to say its the best review I have seen. HONESTlY beyond all and thank you so much for trying ALL of those products just to share your options and opinion with us. Thank you honestly.
This video is a lifesaver. I was debating buying a new laptop to replace my poor early 2015 MacBook, so expensive…but I already have replaced my old defunct iPad with the M2 air… I’m hoping accessories like these will make my iPad thrive, saving $$!!
If you’ve already bought the ESR pencil, does it magnetically attach/charge to the side of the ipad m2 air. The website clearly states : Digital Pencil cannot magnetically attach to iPad Air 11" (2024)/iPad Air 13" (2024)/iPad Pro 13" (2024)/iPad Pro 11" (2024) This video implies it will though?
@@luisthoppil6163 hi sorry I don’t have the answer! Maybe he made a mistake and it attaches, as we can see, but does not charge? The pencil is usually the thing I do buy as I’ve never had a great experience with other styluses…
Hello there, odd question but I hope you can answer. I have the 13” m4 and Magic Keyboard. I am looking for a cover case for the iPad that I can also attach to the Magic Keyboard. Here is the kicker, I do t have to leave it attached to the key board because I know it won’t close. Pikata and mag easy are not rugged enough for me. Any other recommendations? I use iPad as a tablet as much as I use it as a typing machine
Thanks for sharing, love your videos! When you said about the Apple Pencil pro deep dive “check out the card” I didn’t see a card, I’m on UA-cam iOS app. Is it possible to add the videos to the description, please?
Love that Pitaka case! I don’t have it, but I have a similar design, except it folds horizontally, which is how I use my iPad most of the time. On the iPad keyboards, I was shocked to see the logitech is $259.
i’m planning on getting a new ipad and i was choosing between the m1 and m2 airs. the m1s are like 200$ cheaper now in my country and the only real downside that i see is the storage, which isn’t too much of an issue for me because i’m fairly modest with my apps. funnily enough though, i could never bite on the m1 completely because the new sage color of the smart folio just looks absolutely stunning on the starlight, and as far as i know full compatibility will only be reached with the m2 air (i think you could still use it with the m1 but the magnets aren’t going to be completely aligned idk). anyway, the sage was really messing up my decision making and i was seriously considering spending the extra $200. BUT i know any case from apple is notorious for getting ruined very early on in its lifespan and so i still had reservations about that. so thankfully i saw this vid and saw the pitaka case. went and checked and it’s available in my country. yay! so it looks like i’m sticking with the m1 and it’s thanks to this very informative video. the pitaka is also a bit more cheaper than the folio case so that’s nice. hopefully it doesn’t get ruined as easily as well lol
I really like the CalDigit SoHo dock. It has a removable cable so you can use a really short one or a really long one depending on what you need, plenty of power passthrough if you also want to use it with a Mac or something. And it supports 4K60hz output! I find a lot of docks only support 4K30hz and because iPadOS favours refresh rate over resolution, you will usually only get a 1440p image when using an external 4K display!
Why are the Canadians so good at UA-cam tech reviews? Linus, Matt Moniz, HW Canucks, this dude.... It's like they have YT influencing classes in school or something.
How is the scrolling with the keyboard you suggested? I bought a third-party keyboard before and the scrolling was horrible. I read online that the only keyboard with great scrolling is the official one. Is that still true? Fantastic video
I’m fixing the amount of cases that are out for the iPad Pri 13” is really limited at the moment… really like the combo touch but for the 13” it’s way too heavy.. I’m looking for a case that can be compatible with the Magic Keyboard but havent had any luck so far.
Do you know of a pro level or quality USB C hub for the iPad Pro that HAS a headphone jack but does not have a large lip on it (so it can be used with a variety of cases)? That's what I am missing here.
On the ESR Armorite glass film screen protector. How is feeling to use a stylus on this. I usually use paperlike but like how the screen is not as bright.
I hope this comment helps someone but I’ve been using zugu cases for 3 generations of ipad and they’re my favourite, however, I’ve had to replace each after 2 years. They’re really good, you could use your ipad as a frisby if you want, but after a couple years the magnets tear themselves through the case. The outer layer tears off and it becomes messy to use and looks ugly but still works well.
I got an ESR magnetic cover for my iPad Air 11 inch and the flap to keep the pencil in place is snug with or without the pencil so they might have changed the design or something. It’s cheap and so beautiful 😍 For screen protector I went with JETech tempered glass, I’ve toyed with the idea of getting one of those matte protectors for the anti reflectiveness but I hardly ever draw or take notes on the iPad so it wasn’t worth losing screen quality since my main use is actually content consumption 😊
Great video. Straight to the point and informative. I've got a new M2 Air on the way and this just cut out the hours of research I normally do on accessories for a new piece of tech!
I knew I wanted the Combo Touch, but I took home the Magic Keyboard just to try it out. After 3 hours testing it, I ordered the Combo Touch from Logitech’s website with my 15% off lolll. The Magic Keyboard is SO heavy, and I want the versatility of removing the keyboard. I’m worried about the hinge, though…can’t say whether it will last or not…
Is this zugu improved somehow for the new ipad pro? I remeber the esr equivalent being more refined in terms of wobble especially at low angles in the previous gen and was wondering if you've had the opportunity to compare.
What do you recommend for the iPad Pro 5th generation 2024? The ones that you recommended were not meant for the fifth generation 2024 version. I just purchased the new one and I need a case.
Not only do I not want a flap on my iPad cases for a pencil I don’t have, I don’t want it folding in triangle shapes for the stand, but the one thing I do want though is a shell to protect the corners and sides. Do you think I can find a case like that in the UK right now in time to slap my new iPad Pro in, not a chance. What is going on with the manufacturers? Did Apple not give them the info in time?
Is the new Magic Keyboard (with function row) for the 11 inch iPad Pro also compatible with 10.9 iPad Air 5th generation? On the Amazon listing it says it is compatible but on Apple’s listing it say it isn’t.
No they’re not compatible, in Uravgconsumer’s video unboxing the new ipads, the Air won’t work with Pro’s magic keyboard, the magnet placement is different on the two models
Hi Aaron. Thank you for your reviews, very insightful! What’s your opinion on the flolab antiglare protector for iPad Pro M4? I remember that you recommended them for the iPhone 15.
It’s amazing that in 2024 having watched every tech thing I could ever imagine over the past decade I find a channel like this randomly. How have I not seen it before today😂. Subscribed. Btw I’m a firefighter and use iPads daily at work and I’ve never broke a screen and never had a protective film…Anker refunded this exact charger for me because the specs were way lower after testing…it was no where near advertised.
So have you tried the ESR accessories afterall? Do they actually fit the new iPad Pro 13”? I was just in the Zugu website and they do not mention cases available for the new iPad Pro 13”. I tried to chat with them and when you put the model number for the new iPad Pro 13” (A2925) it gives you a drop down list of models which does not include A2925. Does that mean that ZUGU does not have it yet or does it mean that the ones compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9” will fit the 13” just fine?
I’ m very confused about what the ESR screen protector product I received actually is. You recommend glass film over tempered glass and that is what I prefer after my previous experiences with tempered glass . But after trying to reconcile between the box in my hand and website descriptions, I’m very confused about what I actually have I received, what I ordered through your link, and if either of those are actually telling me the exact item that you recommended. I can’t find anything that is obviously a model number on the packaging and I don’t want to just start sending you random numbers from a box ha ha. As I understand it, I should have a glass film product, not a tempered glass product. Nowhere on the box does it say anything about being glass film. However, it does say tempered glass all over it. It does have the term “Armorite” on it though twice. I feel like I’m back doing SAT prep Because I cannot ascertain whether all armorite products are glass film, or all glass films are armorite? Just so where i m coming from his clear, I really dig your videos have always been more than impressed with your opinions, being corroborated by my experience. This was the first time that i was in need of more than just a single item, so getting the new iPad i just fit it out per your suggestion and I actually bought four of the items you suggested along with quite a few others to support the channel. 🎉🎉 so please excuse me if I sound like a disgruntled customer I’m not I’m just confused. Is there someway that you could provide a distinct model number (US if that makes a difference) for that would identify the product that I have received on my hand as the correct version that you recommend? I mean, if Armou right indicates that it is undoubtedly what you recommend I’m fine with that. It’s almost as if marketing has made all words meaningless though lol. And just to clarify you recommend glass film not tempered glass? I really appreciate any clarification that you could offer.
Hi, thank you for a great video. Super insightful. Can you please help with a recommendation - what would you suggest purchasing between apple magic keyboard vs. logitech combo touch for the new M4 ipad pro 11 inch?
I have that Ugreen usb-c hub and can attest its pretty good for the price! It has charging passthrough and pushes out 120hz to my 1440p monitor from Macbook. I think it cost less then 30€ here. It gets really toasty though! Id really like to test that Pitaka slim case. I have the apples smart folio which is good but i dont like that it doesnt secure the pen.
hey aaron, are you able to explain to me how the ipad’s capacity is 8340 mah but the 10k mah battery pack can only charge it to 50%? i would’ve thought it would do a little over 1x full charge… maybe i’m missing not mathing correctly 😅 awesome video btw!!
I am an artist, and I find the best for drawing and getting that paper like feel is actually the Rock Paper Pencil by Astropad. it's magnetic and doesn't have any bumps in the middle of the screen, but it's the absolute best thing next to the brand Paperlike that I've used. I like it better than Paperlike actually.
Hello, could you tell me how much the 11 pro M4 weighs with the magic keyboard? And if you know how much the 11 pro M4 with Logitech combo touch keyboard weighs without the cover, that is, just with the protector (I know it weighs 918 g total 444+474) and how much the 13 pro M4 with the logitech combo touch without the cover, only the protector (complete I know it weighs 660g) thank you very much and greetings from Argentina

The Magic Keyboard is SO heavy, and I want the versatility of removing the keyboard. I’m worried about the hinge, though…can’t say whether it will last or not…
The esr digital pencil pro does magnetically hold but it will not charge on the new iPad 13 inch.
Monty still doing his thing, wonderful video. Waiting for your review on the iPad Pro 11", I finally have to replace my 9.7" iPad Pro.
Is the 35w charging works on the 11 inch model ?
Is this zugu improved somehow for the new ipad pro? I remeber the esr equivalent being more refined in terms of wobble especially at low angles in the previous gen and was wondering if you've had the opportunity to compare.
What do you recommend for the iPad Pro 5th generation 2024? The ones that you recommended were not meant for the fifth generation 2024 version. I just purchased the new one and I need a case.
finally straight to the point, professional, enjoyable, thanks a lot, really appreciate, you're the best
They wanted to reduce the chances of the design getting leaked
the ESR amorite for the 13 ipad pro m4 looks like its now tempered glass instead of a film?
What about a case you can use with the new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro m4? I like the Magic Keyboard but not enough protection
I would like to get the pitaka but I am worried about no edge protection. I do not see where Moshi says there cover fits the new m4 11 iPad pro??
Hi, I was wondering if you have videos for ipad artists on the top buys accessories wise?
What do you think about the ESR keyboards??
So have you tried the ESR accessories afterall? Do they actually fit the new iPad Pro 13”? I was just in the Zugu website and they do not mention cases available for the new iPad Pro 13”. I tried to chat with them and when you put the model number for the new iPad Pro 13” (A2925) it gives you a drop down list of models which does not include A2925. Does that mean that ZUGU does not have it yet or does it mean that the ones compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9” will fit the 13” just fine?
Does the ESR pencil pro work magnetically with the new 13 inch iPad Pro m4? The specs don’t mention it?
Can yo7 review iPad cases that kickstand well for lap or reclining ?
Love your dog !🐶
Tech knowledge is through the roof, but why is no one talking about 'em gains🔥🔥🔥 Way to go for all!
I’m a simple person. Monty recommends. I buy.
Just watched your review. No IPad mini case from Pitaka😢. Going with ESR.
is your dog real❤ it sits so quietly by your hyper energy?
I do enjoy your presentations.
Would those styluses work well with an iPhone?
Does that ESR Digital Pencil Pro work with the M4 iPads?
I’ve seen my M4 pro 11” charge at 45w while using it.
hey aaron, are you able to explain to me how the ipad’s capacity is 8340 mah but the 10k mah battery pack can only charge it to 50%? i would’ve thought it would do a little over 1x full charge… maybe i’m missing not mathing correctly 😅 awesome video btw!!
Great video and humor as always. Can you review the m4 13 pro with the esr 360 keyboard case please and thank you.
Thank you! I was able to buy the two stylus that you recommended for the iPad Pro 13. I used the link 😊
How cute is your dog? Totally adorable….great video!
Thank you very much for helping me choose things for my new iPad Pro 13”
Do glass screen protectors fit in the Magic Keyboard?
Thanks for all the great videos. I always come here first before I make any purchases. I appreciate the amount of work you put in and your style of presentation. Thanks. Ordered an ESR glass film protector for my iPad Pro through your link keep up the good work.
