Yeah. While there are some very good shows on Cartoon Network today, the network's "voice" is nothing like it once was. It used to have a very clever, dry wit and a unique relationship with its audience, with all the in-jokes and stuff. All of that's just completely gone now, replaced with....not really much of anything.
I am empowered by the nostalgia this is giving me, as I was raised in the early 2000s and had my fair share of the old days. That would make an awesome Fan-made miniseries
I imagine it's just Gumball and Darwin in a high-rise apartment counting money from the skull of Steven Universe while all the other toons are Last of Us-ing it up outside.
@@zigfaust well ,even gumball its over,so...
@@Gastonepisellone sssssh.
SHHHHHHHHH!
Then suddenly Teen Titans Go, ThunderCats Roar and PPG Reboot Zombies crawl out of the shadows and Jack hacks and slashes his way through them to get to safety.
Who else wants these kind of commercials back?

Me!
Can we talk about how this video is 14 YEARS OLD
Can we talk about how this comment is 1 WEEK OLD
i know right?
It amazes me to this day, just how good the CGI is.
Please don't. It's depressing
Well, uhh... See, the th-thing is...
I agree. It is fourteen years old. This is a very good talk. It is now the turn of the next person to talk about how this is fourteen years old. Because this is fourteen years old.
I still remember this like it was yesterday, man I wish I could live back then even for a day, it would be nothing but Dragon Ball Z, Johnny Bravo, Ed Edd and Eddy, Samurai Jack, Courage The Cowardly Dog and Batman all day.
+SCWROX no billy and mandy?
What about the marvelous misadventures of flapjack?
This is really neat they should make these again
I agree. I miss them. It made the characters seem more like real people and that their shows were simply their everyday jobs.
Agreed
I love Bravo's eyebrow so much.
I appreciated the work that went into these bumpers. Kept me engaged with the cartoons I already liked. This was another golden age of animation.

She totally thought he was the Professor right?
Also why doesn't CN do this anymore!?
Wow...never even thought about that! Now that you mentioned it, it's all I can see lol.
Cmon, it was so obvious
Parents
I doubt it.
The two of them do look similar, but I’d imagine she’d know where the professor is at the given time, while also recognizing that the professor isn’t Asian nor has a “ponytail.”
@@UndertakerU2ber ponytail Park is right but professor is Asian he was based off of an Australian man of Korean descent
this is why they ship samurai bravo

Ah the memories... the nostalgia... I'm not crying...
I miss cartoons from back then, people could write without relying on pop culture references and slapstick humor. Samurai Jack was easily the king in my opinion, well written, a badass protagonist that became a badass through hard work, Jack had awesome companions ,villains and the show was action packed without being gory and was even funny at times.
It was Alien and Robot gore, but it was there. XD
Connor Gerber Well what do you think of Jack now? I think he's better than ever
Extreme Kiwi unfortunately I haven't been able to watch the newest season since I don't have cable, but from what I've seen it looks very promising. I do miss Mako as the voice of Aku though
Connor Gerber if you need a place to watch it: kisscartoon is an option if you don't mind that
I believe you can actually find them on here, I know the second episode is up.
The sexual tension in this moment

I loved seeing the bushido follower ever serious Jack, the self claimed ladies man Bravo and the true leader big sister Blossom going to the sameplace doing the same thing it made them feel real.Like knocking at your doorbell and bringing you on an adventure full of laughs real.
I remember this bumper. Probably the only times I enjoyed after a cartoon break.
Gotta appreciate Johnny Bravo doing his own laundry instead of making his mom do it. He's a real one.
The sexual tension.
Jack and Johnny is my new OTP.
+nocchimuzik is palpable

Beemanq calm the fuck down man quit projecting
That's a pretty *nice* profile pic you have there
I feel like a lot of those commercial from CN back in mid 2000's is what inspired the Amazing World of Gumball
Two bros, chillin’ in the laundromat, five feet apart ‘cause they’re not gay!
Bringing back my childhood memories of seeing these during the commercial breaks. When Cartoon Network was in their golden era
Jack still didn't age in Season 5, so he lives until the modern day to meet Johnny Bravo. They showed us years ago.
And that's how Johnny and Jack become friends! Hell, Johnny and his family even visit Jack's wedding.
I miss these promos it was the golden age of cartoon network, toonami, and adult swim. Even the bumpers were good
The tone, mood, and vibe here is just perfect.
This is the cutest goddamn thing.
Language!
so...A few years ago the people came to watched this video to remember their childhood... Now We come here to ship Johnny Bravo and Samurai Jack :v
haha shit happens lol xD

Guilty as charged LOL
My childhood. Good times...
I loved when they did stuff like that it made me feel like we were all friends live in together building a world together
Blossom: “Are you a relative of the professor?
I love when a tiny piece of my childhood finds its way back to me like this, gave me chills almost… I think the last time I saw this was when it first aired ,many… many moons ago.
They should've brung these back for the 20th anniversary, but NOOO!

Man this brings back memories. I used to love these commercials and thought the characters were real, and this was what they did when they weren't acting 😅
Such nostalgia. 😌
That moment you realize Samurai jack is currently feeling suicidal and you can't help but wonder how Johnny Bravo is feeling.
0:45 Jack is so adorable so is Johnny ♡
My dad's two favorite Cartoon Network characters finally meet, with a Powerpuff Girl thrown in for extra nostalgia. Thanks, Cartoon Network!
Blossom: Sorry about that, Dad.
Jack: What?
Blossom: What?
It's crazy how fast time flies. I used to see these commercials every day as a kid. Cartoon network and adult swim is pretty much all I ever watch on tv lol
This might just be a bumper but there's something refreshing about it. No punchline, just a relatable awkward moment.
Can not belive I found a CN video from 17 yers ago... thats the year I was born, lmao.
I remember watching this for the first time. Good Lord, take me back! This was such an awesome era, CN City era❤️
These were really top-of-the-line commercials. Look at the lighting effects they did with Blossom's light trail!
Well, these weren't really commercials; they are more like what *[Adult Swim]* calls "bumps" or bumpers as what everyone else out her calls them.
Man this was one of the thing that i MOST LOVED about this channel is really sad that they dont do things like that anymore
Yeah. While there are some very good shows on Cartoon Network today, the network's "voice" is nothing like it once was. It used to have a very clever, dry wit and a unique relationship with its audience, with all the in-jokes and stuff. All of that's just completely gone now, replaced with....not really much of anything.
Damn it Blossom! A Badass Samurai warrior can't ride into battle wearing a Pink Obi! Toshiro Mifune was the only one who could ever pull that off!
This is exactly how I talk to my crushes....I love this ship as bizarre as it is
I wish there was a Johnny bravo and samurai Jack crossover when I was a kid
tall late, i been shippin them since i saw this when i was 10
Jack and Johnny?
Yes
I am empowered by the nostalgia this is giving me, as I was raised in the early 2000s and had my fair share of the old days. Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack, and the REAL Powerpuff girls were definitely apart of my childhood.
It was a time when cartoons is adored even for adults. And I'm currently 22 years old.
I always loved how these bumpers would have 2D characters in 3D semi-photorealistic environments
I miss these two on CN so much ♡ They're both so cute! ♡
I remember it all... the shaking coins, the nervous glances, the bunny slippers.
Everything.
This feels very gay coated and I’m here for it
It really is that sense of old school life we all wish for. The nostalgia that was our growing up, wanting to be in the crazy, wacky world. We all miss it hoping It'll come back someday.
I loved this era of Cartoon Network, the prime of its time on the air. Now it just sucks.
I'm not saying that Cartoon Network sucks now,it's just that,it's not as good as it was back then.I still like it though.I do really like Regular Show, but Adventure Time needs to stop and start making shows that are as good as the ones we had back in the day.
*****
I don't hate Adventure Time,I'm just not a fan of it.
I like Adventure Time but lately I'm slowly losing interest in watching it and switching to Steven Universe
Yeah they only have a few good shows on anymore, hell I even miss merry melodies, looney tunes etc good thing for satellite and internet for nostalgia :P
Tahkaullus01 I grew up with this but Steven Universe is pretty damn good tho
I really love how this implied the chrs were actors who had actual lives outside of their shows.
Jack in Bunny slippers, too cute!. I had a crush on him as a teen!
You're wrong. Johnny was the one wearing the bunny slippers.
Oh grow up it dosent matter who wore them. Dosent change the fact I found Jack cute as a teen.
