Headcanon: Aku was trying to use the rave music to train his child soldiers how to fight.
The dance moves after their eyes turn red, and the speed with which they picked up Jack's moves seem to point to this.
thats the idea. atleast that the rave controls them.
0:46 Years and years of Jack training and training those art martial moves... And those two master it in less than 5 seconds...
Deal with it
I think someone commented that they had enhanced learning capabilities due to them being bred as child soldiers
"Years of Academy wasted"
effects of drugs lol
Its closer to when you try to use water bending after watching avatar no idea on what to do just mimicking
50 years have passed....
And this still a banger!🔥
Got to admit, Aku got better at his whole "indoctrinate the younger generations" plan after the whole fairy tale operation.
I'm so glad Jack's on the spot dance became the dance of legend 50 years later.
The beat is actually good. I could see it as ambience for a villain's realm
You mean the villains realm that this entire cartoon just depicted?
@@theearthisntflatpleasestop9899 Spoken like a man who's seen the show.
@@samurexatlas7373 They turn into demons and break the church window and start destroying civilization at the end of the clip.
@@theearthisntflatpleasestop9899 Yes.
Because they're mind controlled.
i stil l remember seeing this the day it was first aired. took a digital recorder i had gotten for my birthday earlier that day and recorded the whole episode's audio on it. listen to it for years till youtube came out. its nice an unedited version of this has been leaked :P still hoping for jack attack to get leaked though.
So damn sweet!
Are those beats by Aku?
😁
Aku's next hit single Deathmetal to the Samurai. His mixtapes are literally fire!
this comment was literally lit tho
Ohmaly Swartz Yep, it's fine tuned so that you can get the best out of the Aku-stic sounds.
These beats are EXTRA SICKK
This is EXACTLY how I came across trance and this type of music! Thank you, Samurai Jack, having introduced me to trance all those years ago! 🙏🏻❤
techno not trance
@@jtjoemamma I hope it was a typo because "trance" sounds like a very insidious type of music
@@DiggitySlice then do some research dummy bc trance is a pretty uplifting genre
It's amazing how accurately they portrayed a rave's dress code in this episode!
I know, they did a good job 😂
You can tell the creators raved too in the old days :D
Jack is coming back! It better be as creative as it once was :D
+AloversGaming the original creator's also back, so I have high hope for it!!
+AloversGaming
Sadly, the same cannot be said for Mako T_T
it's going to be on adultswim so we finally getting a kid nostalgia show from the pass. in a mature way yay
I think that's what they were going for. they wanted to appeal to the original fans
I guess you could say that Macro died so we can have a finale to the Samurai Jack's story - myeah.. it sounds kinda morbid..
Anyway, this amazing show will always remain in Mako's memoriam.
-Rest in peace
I've been wondering why I always wanted to go to a rave, I completely forgot about this.
Thanks recommendations
when i rewatched ashi at the rave i put the pieces together saying *oh... so that what she meant by countless innocents* cuz some fans felt ep6 was bad but i liked it if she kept meeting allies it would take away the fun in trying to guess who would join the final battle atleast imo like the spartans for example (a friend of mine actually predicted robo samurai) sure they didn't do much but whats important is they acted like a rebellion a symbol of hope besides every fan should know that the sword can only truly hurt him anyway somehow i don't think we,ve seen the end of jack yet
Ah, there is always that one guy who is not tripping on acid or E
Hey, ethan nice moves keep it up
Bruh
Was just finishing watching that xD wtf
h3h3?
When Thanos was young, his plans were...weirder.
anybody still remembers that flash game from cartoon network that featured this part of the cartoon?
Could never beat it I'm pretty sure I kicked too many teens to death lol
What was the name
Ah the memories. CN had the best arcade games
I find it funny, that people during the new season said "Wow the writers blended together new and old content together so well when Ashi was looking for Jack! Bringing old faces and making up new faces like the rave kids for her journey." Seems like people don't remember this episode.
Oof.
DID U GET ONE MILLION YET
I have memories of being extremely terrified of these people as a child. And now I am exactly these people. Literally going to a rave fest in 2 weeks😂
That dj has some sick ass headphones
We need those as merch , now.
You guys should have played the flash game on Cartoon Network back in the day. Pretty damn fun. "Rave Slaves"
I used to be so obsessed with Jack's dance in this and the game
I don't know, but this episode was the my first taste of the show. It was awesome.
one of the best episodes of the show, the other being the episode with the robot as the main character
Tale of X9? Also, what about Jack Remembers the Past?
tehandroidmaster dont forget HAGUS
Nuh uh. "The Birth of Evil "in which they show the origin of Aku.
@0:13 I love that pink princess design! she's cute! 😍
wonder how jack would handle a metal concert
my god *yes*
Just imagine Jack in a mosh pit lol
He would get angry and flip out lol

it must've been so fun coming up with all of the characters for this scene
I can't believe they got away with having Jack suck on a pacifier (which people use when their jaws are swinging from doing E.)
Is it weird that I thought some of the female ravers were hot
No when I was 12/13/14 I did too
+Spence Wedum crazy thing is i would still travel out to bum fuck nowhere just to party with Jack
They kinda gave me Jet Set Radio vibes.

.... O_O

I love how they brought this back among many things in this week's episode! Even the same dance!
That beat is low key addictive

Jack dances moves lasted for 50 years
As a kid this made me always think raves were held in forests around our town, and at night hearing music from passing cars I thought there are teens in the forest just partying like this every night lol.
"let your ears feast to the flavor of the AKUUUUUUstic sound"
Last nights episode was incredible for simply these throwbacks
When you eat three vitamin gummies.
I love the cues and hints throughout the show that tell you what part of the world Jack is in in each episode. At 2:45, based on the statue with the fleur-de-lis and the king Philip/Louis looking appearance, there's a good chance he's in France here. I like neat little details like that.
It was pretty badass how we got to see what happened to the rave 50 years after Jack saved them all. They're still rockin' hard with his dance moves!
When i saw this on Instagram I thought they put a random track over it. I’m glad to see this was the real soundtrack on the show it fucking bangs 😂
I cannot believe how much fun the animators for this show had with their character designs in this minute long clip. Good god.
Jack was cracking me up with that pacifier.
They could have done a whole half hour of Jack just wandering while all these hundreds of teens just rave and Id watch it. The music, the variety of background characters and all their rave outfits, its really great.
This is definatly my favorite episode.. lol
My favorite Samurai Jack episode is all of them! ;-D
jonn mace it was all one big episode... put into tons of parts...
