    Very interesting. Is there a reason for the different colours of valves? Imwhat is the reason for the two pieces of valve material? Is the valve wax just beeswax? Told you there would be loads of questions.

      Good questions
      The valves are different colours because they are different sizes and the different sizes often come in different colours
      The second and third layers help to keep the valve lying flat.
      The wax is a mix of beeswax and rosin .

    What is the best temperature for melting wax?

      Hello
      I use a wax heater - used for heating leg wax
      The wax needs to be pretty hot - I normally have my heater nearly on max
      If the wax starts to smoke you are in trouble - it can easily catch fire 🔥
      Also if it starts to smoke the wax will be ruined
      BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!!🙏
