Thoroughly enjoyed your walk to Le Bon Marche. So delightful to walk along with you and your informative narrative learning lots of little things about Paris.
It sounds like you loved your time in Paris, and especially Bon Marche. You can certainly get lost in ideas when you spend time in that store. Happy to hear you enjoyed it too!
Went to Bon Marche just 2 weeks ago based on your previous video there. Saw that beautiful jewelry you pointed out ( Caroline Benoist i believe). Told the sales lady that I was there because of a You Tuber showcased the beautiful pieces!
Yes, the ugly Tour Montparnasse that you can see looking south at 8:54 is in the 15e . Enjoying walking along with you:)) I loved the old Art Déco interior of the Lutetia Hotel befor Ie it closed and was renovated...Do you remember when the Conran‘s store was across the street from le Bon Marché? I think that is a Monkey Puzzle tree in the park....And yes, the theme of the expo at Le Bon Marché is “Paris, Paris...culture, fashion and gastronomy“, it ended on October 20th.....
That was a feast for the eyes, thank you Sharri! I love your walking tours and that statue in Saint-Germain is a favourite too. He's called The Centaur of Cesar, thank you Google :)
This video was made the very end of October, so sorry some of the items weren't available!! That said, the shop areas are so varied and interesting, sometimes we only see a portion of all the goodies. I'm sure you left with bags full of wonderful things!! 💚
It’s such a delight walking with you along the streets of Paris while you point out what catches your eye! It’s amazing how you seem to notice the very things that would interest me! I love all your little excursions and am so grateful that you take us along. p.s. I also see lovely things in the shops that I would like to buy for my grandchildren. But, I’ve also been very blessed with many. I sometimes find myself trying to calculate, in my mind, the price by seven before giving up😊
Susan, I can relate!! My daughter has 6 children and my son 3- thank heavens some are babies, some teens, some pre-teens....but I too start to multiply and get nervous!! Thanks for commenting and sharing!!
Sharri, thank you for another lovely video ❤ I enjoyed every minute of it. I've been to Paris several times, and I can't believe I haven't been to Le Bon Marché yet. Thanks to you I've been discovering little pieces of Paris that I have overlooked or not even looked at all 😅 I'll be going again soon and I'll head straight to Le Bon Marché thanks to you 😊❤
I hope you love it as much as I do. Sometimes I especially enjoy getting a coffee and taking a sunday wander through the food/housewares right next door to all the fashion. Thanks for joining me!!
Everyone wears them now other than older people, whatever that means 😃 Parisians wear very "cool" tennis shoes- men and women. They have taken tennis (gym) shoes to a stylish level. It all changed after covid. Before then, it was only tourists, mostly American, who wore tennis shoes in Paris.
Very nice tour, I like seeing what's in the shops, will you go back as soon as the Christmas decorations are all up? Are you heading home for the Holidays or will you stay in Paris?
Printers in American homes can print on A4 paper. Stores like Staples sell A4 paper from a US brand like Hammermill. You just need to load the A4 paper, and select A4 as the size of paper being printed to.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
It is lovely, I agree! Plus the views from the rooftop are wonderful. Yet, I'm continually drawn to Bon Marché- not sure why. Thanks for commenting! You give others ideas.
Rue de Rennes and the "monstruosity" is Tour Montparnasse :-). Returning to your hotel room, so you no longer live in Paris? Feeling homesick or Paris was not what you expected and perhaps not such a "hapy place"..it can feel lonely in Franece
That was it! The Montparnasse monstrosity. Now I remember the name. Yes, I recently sold my Paris apartment. I love to decorate and improve a space and then move on....now working on an apartment in Boston. From there, maybe purchase another Paris apartment. I'm a decorator at heart. 💚

Pharmacists in France are very helpful. However, their command of English is not good. It seems students in the sciences are not required to study English.
You are right but every once in a while, I've found one who speaks English reasonable well. They are still gems, compared to the traditional "drug stores" elsewhere. Thank you for commenting!!
Love Bon Marché, thank you for the tour. I could live in that book section, and wouldn't risk walking through it with a rolling travel bag!
You are soooo right, but it would be wonderful fun!!
Thoroughly enjoyed your walk to Le Bon Marche. So delightful to walk along with you and your informative narrative learning lots of little things about Paris.

I was just there last week-what a beautiful store and pleasant shopping experience. Thanks for the tour!
So happy to hear you loved it!!! 💚
I was there for 2 weeks. Incredible selection in designer goods, perfume & jewelry. The men’s department equally as impressive.
It sounds like you loved your time in Paris, and especially Bon Marche. You can certainly get lost in ideas when you spend time in that store. Happy to hear you enjoyed it too!
Le Bon Marché is great.
It is the best, in my opinion. 💚

I love your tours! I noticed many people wearing gym shoes. I wasn't expecting that in Paris.

I love your walking tours! Curious what brand of shoes you were wearing, look very comfortable and stylish! 💙
I have a large Le Creuset, ordered for my 25 years of services.
great cookware but HEAVY!! 😃
I used to buy a Longchamp bag every year when I was in Paris and they last forever.
298 movies were released in France in 2022. Attendance at cinemas is higher in France than in other European countries.
I didn't know this, which explains why cinemas are so accessible in Paris. Thank you for clarifying!!

I used my translation app. Unfortunately was at the pharmacy 3 times due to food poisoning courtesy of Delta airlines. My French needs improvement.
