I adore Guerlain make-up, in fact my full wedding makeup was all Guerlain and the counter always gave me lots of feeebies and samples as i spent that much every month.
Sadly, here in Northern Ireland, there is only 1 department store that still sells this brand and even then it's very limited.
Such a shame as it is a lovely brand and cost wise it is a lot better than say chanel. Even Guerlain perfume is difficult to purchase now.
Thank you for a lovely tranquil walk through Bon Marche. It has been many years, around 10, from i was last in Paris. Even trip to Paris, i spend a king's ransom in Marche & their food level is heaven . Im not a huge fan of French cuisine and when in France i buy nibbles that i eat back in the hotel or consume as part of a picnic.
    Fab video, merci beaucoup x

Thank you, this was just so delightful! The Montegue mug ( probably did not spell it correctly) but he probably is a relative to the Royals of England the Montegue's and ther is a video shown from Engand, with Julie Monteque a Viscountess of Montegue and her husband Luke. Her father- in -law is Earl of Hichingbrooke and last name of Montegue. His wife I beleive is a Countess? Julie came originally from Chicago, and met Luke there.
Very interesting shopping and looks like fun having it close to your very sweet apartment, as well! Looks like you have become very comfortable and have made a nice life for yourself there! TY for including us in your day out!
*To be honest, now in the U.S. churches are not attended well either, and more are going to church' online', It is shocking how they are now as never thought of this a few years ago! Churches that were full in the 70's -80's and maybe 90's are showing attendance of maybe 20-25 when lucky! So sad. Do not want ot loose the lovely churches nd not have thsi freedome any longer.
Think the Catholics are still rating a bit higher than Protestants, but there is a division in some of the Protestant chuchcs, and this is not helping at all. Things are just moving in a differnt direction of some kind right now.

Fabulous, loved it but please slow down when you pan with the camera as it can't focus that quickly. I have done it myself and it feels unnaturally slow but means we can view it without being blurry. Maybe just give it a try and compare yourself, I'm sure you will see the difference. Thanks for sharing.

Well you' re a very privileged lady to afford a flat in this area of Paris, one of the most prestigious and expensive one..i should know as a French Parisian :-) As a side note le Bon Marché is very much a rather "posh" department store ...this area of Paris does not truly reflect "French living" ..just like you said about Harrods and London not so "British" after all .However I've enjoyed your video and thanks to it i just discovered the new area for home decor& furnitures ( former Conran shop which sadly closed) ... As for history , did you know that Le bon marché was also the main feature in Emile Zola's novel " Au bonheur des dames" ... :-) Welcome to France

I am very blessed and you are so correct about what is posh and what is not. But sometimes, it can be inspiring to see beyond our current limitations...and then maybe, what if.... Thank you for your comments and welcome back to Paris even if only for a few minutes!

L’Episserie is not “le Pisserie” (!) In French, it’s important to really pronounce each vowel. The E in this word is pronounced like a long A (ay) in English. Love your videos, ma chere!!

I love the grocery store but don't want to live in Paris. Do they have other locations in France? Are there other grocery stores that are also known for having a large quantity of quality items, especially organic? I love cooking; it's a serious hobby, along with everything food. I'm one of those weird people who will make a decision on where to move to in France based on the based on the variety of produce and meats to cook all types of cuisine. Oh, please slow down the camera motion when you're filming items. When I stop the video to read any of the items in the produce section, everything is out of focus because your phone needs another second or two to focus.
