Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am very much a beginner but I wanted to make something else rather than rugs so I have tried several patterns for scarfs and shawls but then determined I am more comfortable working C2C. I was getting quite dis-heartened with my attempts. However, I came across this pattern and it's pretty and is also quite easy so I've started my shawl now. 😄
Hi Mikey! Thanks for sharing this.. I’m making a shawl that is just about the same concept and start off the bottom peak .. as you mentioned it only have three DC and works up faster and uses less yarn .. but again thanks for this .. looks simple and fun
Omg! I haven't watched your Chanel Mikey in years and went to search for the basket weave pillow pattern and I found you again. I'm so happy I found you again.
For some reason I wasn't able to catch on to the Caron cake version you recently did but this tutorial worked and I got it! Ty very much, now I will be able to make a shawl for my grandmother for Christmas! ❤️
This doesn't look too hard, might be my next challenge! I was thinking of making something to use when I get cold at work and this might be just the thing to keep on the back of my chair!
Hi Mikey... I love this pattern. And I want to make it for a friend of mine. But i can't figure out if it will be a rectangular scarf, ora triangle one.. ☺️😅
I know this was 7 years ago, but it's a very timely and lovely piece (shawl). I'm trying it with Latte Cakes. It looks pretty so far! ♥️ Thank you, Mikey, for all you do!
It would be nice if you showed the finished product laid out on a flat surface. What kind of shape does it have when it is finished? From what corner to which? That corner to corner term is confusing me. Thanks.
☺Ciao Mikey... Wow..this iz a totally diff.way C2C then I used tae crochet.. Ive maked Projects in other Style.. but... I like this (for Me new) One too 🤗.. So.. I took my Crochethook & my Yarn, Ive always a lot of Spare Yarn.. for Projects that crossed my Path.. this iz that kind of Project 😉.. Grazie mille for the Tutorial.. I like it🤗.. 🌹Dru
HI Mikey, this was a very easy pattern to follow, and I did add 8 more rows, to make a total of 70 rows. Quick question, would it be a nice finishing touch to do a row of HDC all the way around the shawl? I would love to hear your take on this. Thank you for such wonderful instructions. 🥰
I learned crochet only by seeing Ur videos..I have few doubts..will I be able to change corner to corner shawl to corner to corner bias shawl of this model??
This will be triangular, right? I think I'm going to make this with a 3 ply acrylic yarn, just big enough to use as a regular head scarf. I hope it's possible.
is there a written pattern? i've tried to follow he instruction for downloading the foam but it never works. i think Mikey is the best at explaining these patterns, woiuld just LOVE to be able to easily print the instructions
I would love to see the whole shawl. And the tutorial was to short; I love to hear him talk. No I am not a stalker, lol. I am a 67 yr old starting-all-over crocheter!
Why can’t you include below yarn size and amt along with hook size(s) recommended ?? You sent me on a wild goose chase through a hundred projects. I haven’t found this one yet for details!! I’ve given up!
IO'm checking the link video description to see if it is broken. All of our patterns have the links in the video descriptions. I know you have quit already but I will check anyway.
corner to corner is my favorite thing to make but I don't understand what this is supposed to look like in the end and the way this is being worked is so confusing.... honestly every time I go on here I am more confused than when I started. ugh!

"If you want it bigger, you'll need more balls" OMG, you always crack me up!
love it, thankyou so much
Love this. Thank you
I love your tutorials Mickey
Can this stitch be made into a blanket, how would you decrease?
It would be nice if you showed the finished product laid out on a flat surface. What kind of shape does it have when it is finished? From what corner to which? That corner to corner term is confusing me. Thanks.
Susan Elizabeth
Susan, this is worked in a triangle shape. Starting at the peak which hangs in a point over your bottom end.
I looked up the pattern on Ravelry. Lots of great projects shown. I think it will help for those wanting to see more views of this lovely shawl.
Does this shawl cup at the tip of the bottom corner? If so, is there a way to make it lie straight?
Do you have a much longer version of this shawl. Can someone help me with the full version.
Could you post a tutorial how to make a men's simple winter sweater? :)
☺Ciao Mikey...

Mike could I make a poncho with this stitch??
not that much of a fan of C2C, but this one does look less bulky~ tfs….LOVE the yarn ~~
For sure... Be sure to put at least 5 hdc at the corner points of the shawl so it stays sitting flat.
@@TheCrochetCrowd and Mikey, Thank you for your immediate response abd the valuable tip on the 5 HDC on the corners. 😊👍
I learned crochet only by seeing Ur videos..I have few doubts..will I be able to change corner to corner shawl to corner to corner bias shawl of this model??
good
I love you videos.
Is there a back view of the shawl?
Is there a way to make this a rectangle like you can a regular C2C
thank you for that video
Thank you... 👍😊
This will be triangular, right? I think I'm going to make this with a 3 ply acrylic yarn, just big enough to use as a regular head scarf. I hope it's possible.
Yes it is. I believe your idea is possible.
I am left-handed and am having a very difficult time with this pattern. Is there a left-handed version of this video I could watch?
is there a written pattern? i've tried to follow he instruction for downloading the foam but it never works. i think Mikey is the best at explaining these patterns, woiuld just LOVE to be able to easily print the instructions
kay Flesner: The link to the pattern is in the description box.
nice thanks!
Is this not the same pattern as the warm c2c shawl? But in that tutorial you used Caron cakes. Or am I going crazy?
yes it is....wow!!!!
when is the next tent sale and where will it be.
I would like to know how the finish goes.
Diane Orr: I believe is a triangle shape.
Do u show how to do this stitch left handed

Fab!
I like this shawl, but I could only follow you, can't do it on my own. Guess I'm too much of a novice.
I would love to see the whole shawl. And the tutorial was to short; I love to hear him talk. No I am not a stalker, lol. I am a 67 yr old starting-all-over crocheter!

Pero los vemos todo el mundo y no entendemos nada en ingles Dios lo bendiga gracias 🇲🇽👍🇲🇽👍🤝🇲🇽🤝🇲🇽🤝🤔🤔
That hook...that's an Odyssey, isn't it?
would have liked to see the shawl finished being that the black one can't really see the stitching 😔

Why can’t you include below yarn size and amt along with hook size(s) recommended ?? You sent me on a wild goose chase through a hundred projects. I haven’t found this one yet for details!! I’ve given up!

Hey! Could you show how to make this in the other way ? How to make 1 from 61 ? So we could turn shawl into an afghan :D
Why did you do two tutorials for the same pattern? All you changed was the yarn.
corner to corner is my favorite thing to make but I don't understand what this is supposed to look like in the end and the way this is being worked is so confusing.... honestly every time I go on here I am more confused than when I started. ugh!
It’s a triangle shawl.
