- In today’s video I go on a small rant about RC car copies vs class competitors. With so many new people coming into the hobby all the time, I don’t think they know that companies make cars to compete with each other and just deem them a copy. I also clarify my position on the Rlaarlo and show off some new kits that came in last week so you know what’s coming up on the channels in the next few weeks.

No one gets offended about another r/c car looking similar, except Traxxas. Ridiculous that they suggested the Arrma Nero was a copy of the E-Revo.

The Gorgon is not even close to a stampede copy. The mid motor aspect of it is awesome. I always hated the rear motor design of most 2wd stuff
Oh I know, that’s why I get a mental short circuit when I see people saying it’s a copy. Rear motor has its benefits, so does mid, but now we’ve got options in this class which is pretty awesome. 😎
Gorgon looks like a cool rig for the price.
That Gorgon really intrigues me. Looks like it could be a great starter base for an awesome truck. Also loving the look of the squash van. Looking forward to your videos on those espcially

Rlaalo made good choices. The Mazda 787 is a great choice for a body. The reactive aero is interesting is it like the flaps on an R/C plane? Does it move to set positions with manual input from a switch on the Tx, or does it adjust proportionally with the throttle?

So silly you have to explain class competitor vs copy. Have these people never purchased or seen a real full sized car? Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet, etc ... don't complain to each other about having competitive vehicles in the same class and nor do car shoppers. They're happy to have ... choice.

Other people said that it worked for the car maybe you weren't using it right and you didn't have it at its highest adjustment.
I also heard people say it handled awesome while the thing was visibly sliding all over the place and spinning out. I made sure the trim was all the way up.

I’ve had a nitro stampede since 1997! It no longer runs, but I still have it 😂 After many reviews late last week I bought the Gorgon as my first arrma RC car. It’s nothing like the stampede. In fact in my opinion, it’s much better! It’s durable, handles well, it’s pretty stable, and even with the factory brushed motor this thing moves pretty well. And the price, it’s so affordable! All I did was upgrade to a 2s Lipo and added a cooling fan cause I’m super cautious and OCD.😂 This Gorgon is exactly what an entry level type vehicle should be to get new hobbyists hooked. I have a traxxas XRT and a Slash BL 2 and I find myself having more fun with the Gorgon and driving it way more. For me it’s a fantastic first experience with Arrma. I think this thing is gonna be a huge hit! Great video man. Keep them coming!
Looking forward to the Gorgon review. I'm seriously considering it for my 3rd RC, because of that 4x4 conversion.

so excited for all these new RCs! Seems like a lot of work ahead of you but pls dont overpressure yourself doing so, remember to take it at a reasonable pace for the channels and for the fun of the hobby!
