I always go around yelling in proximity chat that im coming to get them. And if a bunch of people start respawning without waiting i start adding in 'anyone who sees me running at them and respawns is a f-cking coward' and the like as i run around. Usually fixes the issue.
While I haven't play HLL, I happen to agree. In any other games (Lookin' at you Battlefield), Medic is incredibly underrated and disrespected the most. I like helping my team (mostly because no-one is capable or willing to) and having a good time. When I see some people down as a Medic, I do try and get to them. But 9 times out of 10, they'll just respawn- even if they're behind cover or safe. They'll come back as the same class they were, with the same weapon and everything and go charging off to die again. It's... frustrating. On the flip side, when I'm down and I see a medic is near, I pray they see me so I can get help. Or if they are near, I try to signal not to bother if enemies are close by me, to keep them from becoming swiss cheese next to me.
Yeah, I found a new player who knew how to use his mic and when he got downed I stayed near him screaming for a medic...telling him.he was going to be okay. Then when the medic didn't come I said "go in peace brother"
I want to shoutout the angry Tank Commander who demanded nothing less than perfection from me as a Driver in my first game of Hell Let Loose...on FOY of all places! As scary as each engagement was, he guided me through everything I needed to know like a mad drill sergeant. He called out orders like it was real life and I felt like any wrong move would get us killed. At the end of the game, he thanked me and left me a commendation. I may never be that good of a tank commander but if we ever get in a tank again, he'll have the driver he deserves.
On remagen, around Christmas when people were getting the game, I built a little army in game cause I was reviving people, and we got pushed across bridge and I made observation that we would get flanked from above on one of the mountains overlooking the bridge, and I was promoted and told to lead men up there to hold that position, I went up there and became medic/officer, I was running back and forward in the trench reviving the dead and inspiring the alive and we held the entire time and only lost he position cause our team couldn't hold our flank, so we full sent it over the hill into our counter attack and I was Level 26 leading this, it failed, but yeah, that was my promotion to officer in this game.
My FAVORITE thing to do when screaming for a medic is “I’m all fucked up man. I can’t feel my legs, I’m scared man”. It ALWAYS leads to a memorable exchange.
The 30+ year olds who are either retired veterans or cooling off after work are some of the best. They've always been some of the best team players and squad leads, they know how to give advice and not be a dick, treat the game as an after-work venture and not a full-time job requiring screaming at people, and are often the first to offer you help when you don't know what to do.
Medics are invaluable on defense, where usually defenders are entrenched, so their bodies are typically easy to revive behind cover. That keeps that barrage of bullets going, keeping the advance at bay.
No thats incorrect because the game is badly designed, when people get revived theyre simply being denied from having their grenades and ammo etc refilled which the respawn gives for free. Medics only purpose in the game is the roleplay and larp aspect, so dont be mad when people just dont wait for you to run 5 meters to them. And thats why i stopped maining medic after reaching max lvl and atleast 150 hours

Yeah… I had a game last night where it was all blueberries and my regular squad. We didn’t have a commander who talked and no other squad lead spoke beside me and some tank commander. It’s stressful but we were on defense and we held for an hour and 20 mins, felt like I single handedly won the war lol.

Hell let loose has some of the best and most friendly players, When i started tanking i would join squads and ask if its fine if im fresh too it and most of the time they were happy to help and have a full tank squad
Decided to test out the medic invincibility field and was not dissapointed a friendly MG got shot well hiding prone behind a tree, he had the camo outfit and everything in shadows maximum camo stuff they shot immidiantly i proceeded to revive him, and then stand up fully, in my boring gray german uniform for a good 10 seconds before getting lit up with a tommy gun i lived.
i spent one game learning about engineer and the entire time i was beefing up the last point with maybe 8 other people. it was kinda boring until the front got to us and it was so satisfying when they broke on the fortress we built for the past 20 to 30 minutes
Me and 3 other medics formed a adhawk unit on stalingraud as the german we nicknamed the house "Scottys" house because of are commanders gamer tag. We kept that house up and runing for the entire match the russians couldn't get in it was awsome and we cracked jokes and generally kept the moral high. Still play with those guys there awsome.
As a medic it is always gut-bustingly funny to hear someone scream for you with the intensity as if the bullet came through their monitor and hit them in the shoulder irl
With about 4.400 hrs in HLL I can identify myself with most of the roles you mentioned. Except for the medic. Medics can be useful if they fully understand the role and don't complain about how little ammo they have.
My gun is for personal defende and occasional clearing an enemy off of a downed teammate. That's it...no yolo medics. I'm sorry....how many hours? Are you the general of HLL?
@@McBluffinGaming Nope. But I have been playing since May/June 2020, on a regular basis. Been part of the competitive scene also. For you to have an idea, I remember the time when at the start of the match you had to RUN to the middle point. No trucks and no Jeeps.
As someone who mains tanks, PLEASE get into tank a tank squad and learn and ask questions. We are few as is an need more tankers on the field? The majority will help you just make sure you have a mic and follow orders and you will never wanna play any other class. See you on the battlefield
I do my best to avoid being SL as I am level 10 already, but truly get enjoyment out of helping new players learn the role, especially if they are eager. I see so many others happily teaching new players, this game is amazing for how welcoming it is.
I started playing yesterday and basically just mained the medic role. My first ever game I was just getting killed left and right but I must have healed like 50+ people. (That game lasted way too long but hey, I went from level 1 to level 10). Playing as a medic, I've definitely loved hearing people scream out for me to go heal them while getting shot at in all directions. I think the best part is just bonding with randoms for a short while. Wish I could see some I met again but oh well. Edit: If I had one main complaint though, it would have to be people just instantly respawing. I can't count the number of times already where I ran and almost reach them, then poof, they "let go". Wish there was a way to tell them I'm coming rather than proximity chat but nothing i can really do about it.
I was in a game a few weeks ago we were loosing and had no commander at this point i was a quad leader and was talking tl people in command chat, this more naulagable person i belive was a vetaren of the game if not he was just a very nice guy who knew some tips, said that i should go saying "a commander no matter how bad is better than no commander" so i gave it a shot and the guy was helping me and others were as well like teaching me that some houses could be straffing runned through and was a hotspot, we ended up loosing but it has made me love the officer and command roll more, especially the tactical side
The Thing with the supporting soldiers in HLL is because people dont see the effect like in the full Tactical games. But them played well is the difference between win and loose.
I would play more medic but I'm too valuable as a panzer destroyer, assault specialist and the only man on the team that actually likes to play support and knows how to place supplies.
A big tip for those learning to play this game, watch genuine WW2 training films, that's how I learned to use bazooka effectively, it does work, except for using the individual sights on the launcher, enlisted has that option but you gotta eye ball it in hell let loose.
Once in foy, me and my unit were stuck in a hole in the frontline, we had an MG42 rippin trough them, i was just proned there healing and reviving everyone on my unit. We hold that defense position for about 5 or 8 mins with heavy fire and artty all around us. Was one of the most suscefull imerse experiences i had in this game. Being a medic gives a great boost on your units moral and the ability to get less surpres. Its awsome. And dont make me talk about that hand gun. ❤
I was playing medic last night. Someone team killed me on purpose over some light banter due to his name choice and the entirety of the company at that garry would team kill him till he apologised. I got 30 revives shortly after. Thats why i play medic
As a medical main, I'm glad to get the appreciation I deserve. Medic needs a minor buff (more ammo and smoke grenades would be nice) but I risk my life every match for your life
The SLs that bark kill me lmao. They make me wonder if they think were actually in the military. 1944 edition. I usually end up A, leaving squad. B, doing my own thing if its 'better' for the team (usually coincides with B) or C, writing it off as the most excitement they have and carry on chuckling lol.
Green SL that are willing to learn the role are the best. I just usually explain the different chats and how to use that stopwatch and they become great SL in no time. Once they learn to mark the map and use those binocs then they level up past most SL.
I'm actually (without any self flattery of course, trying to be objective) the medic and squad leader (and another one not on this list, the supportive and friendly sniper who communicates and cover the ass of my friends and always remain close to my spotter). And for the medic, I will do everything in my power to revive each one of the players and I never let one down, the most insane was one time, a guy was hidding just behind an enemy tank, laying down and the tank didn't saw, and I understood it was a newbie. I crawled to him, I revived him, I asked him to follow him and I brought him back to his squad. The guy was yelling in the microphone of happiness. And of course the squad leader, for me it's just obvious that the squad leader should be the main component for players to actually have a fun time. And it's really not that hard, just follow the commander, give him some suggestions base on what you see on the field that he might not see so he can take even better decisions because have even more information on what is happening, always give clear directions to the squad but also ask questions to what the squad see and feel, and alos not only directions but actually EXPLAIN what is the final goal. If you're goal is to flank them by the East and focus on destroying their garrison, don't give "robotic instructions" like "go to point A, go to point B, please kill the enemy at this point etc...", give something more like "okay guys, we need to flank the enemy by the East, we should go by passing by point A and B on the map, and then we really have to try to destroy the enemy garrison, but if on the way you find a better way to adapt, please do it and tell me, good luck guys" and most important of all, give positive feedback and congrats each player everytime they do an action, so they feel useful. For me I'm playing maybe just 20% of the time squad leader, the rest is on Medic and Sniper, and sometimes Rifleman if I'm in a mood of just not thinking and just playing chill. But everytime I'm SL, I always have great feedback from the squad and sometimes hear things like "you're the best squad leader I had so far" or things like "it was so fun and we played all together, I never saw that before !" It always feels great !
I don’t have a mic but the amount of people that help me and like treat me like their lil buddy is nice. I’ll just pick a talking teammate and follow them around.
yes I've been mentioned, (I led an entire trench and a little more somehow, I went from spot to spot checking in and making orders, that was a good match, mostly)
Normally a squad leader would be like a SGT, but I guess its kinda like a green platoon leader. If you want to roleplay and be useful, help the butterbar succeed.
I started off as a medic, it seems like the easiest role to me... when my team is able to hold itself... but aside from that I try to stick as close to ppl as possible... I just need to get rid of my blood thirst and realize the importance of my own life. the blood curdling scream of "medic" hurts my ears and when I hear that I make it my goal to make the dude stfu xD
Been playing this game for two months solid, most addictive and immersive FPS war game since BF3 and 4. Great community (with the odd d-head), but is a smashing game. How many of you were mad and had to be in the mood to play this initially, now you're veterans? 😂
@McBluffin Gaming honestly, playing defense on offensive mode, as the Germans is so much fun. Get 2 or 3 engineers to build a point into a fortress with concrete bunkers. It's sad when our team stops them early and we never even get a chance to defend the fortress we just built lol
Yeah but how often has a medic been within a 100 meters and just watched you die? They need a ping sonthe medic can say he's on the way....then if you let go extra 10 second wait
As an "older gentleman with a cinematic gruff voice," mentoring can be as much fun as playing the game it's self. But, be warned, if you ignore us out of hand, we can get very loud and abrasive.
Some people confuse me If you wanna go around and just try and keep everyone happy, thank you, that takes a special kind of person But its so easy to just not be a jerk You dont have to say anything
Number one for me is people that don't make fun of or point out my speech impediment and just talk to me normally. I got called xQc way too many times.
Half the medic out there run like f idiots going for kills instead of healing and reviving. Not to mention the numerous times he is literally 20 meters away and doesn't even show up for revive.
I love being a medic, I love when people actually give a f about medics and they don't just respawn. Its a special feeling
I agree. It's not only useful but it adds to the immersion and fun of the game.
I always go around yelling in proximity chat that im coming to get them.
And if a bunch of people start respawning without waiting i start adding in 'anyone who sees me running at them and respawns is a f-cking coward' and the like as i run around.

i spent one game learning about engineer and the entire time i was beefing up the last point with maybe 8 other people. it was kinda boring until the front got to us and it was so satisfying when they broke on the fortress we built for the past 20 to 30 minutes
squad leader part is so true! Very thorough analysis, nice!
Cheers. Been having some fairly salty squad leaders of late.
Proud to say you have PERFECTLY described me as the Diehard Medic
I'm glad, you and the others on this list needed a shout out.
@@McBluffinGaming thanks man! It’s cool that you interact with your audience as well. Have a fine day
@Chrimbo_ yeah man, I'll always try and reply. (Don't always get a notification so I miss some) you too sir.
Im very glad to be a medic. Sometimes I get great matches where people even are happy to see me revive them
With about 4.400 hrs in HLL I can identify myself with most of the roles you mentioned.
@@warriorpoet_pt4429 a true veteran. 👍
I actually mentored a HLL player on squad 30 mins before watching this. Its nice to think I may have had a positive impact.
As someone who mains tanks, PLEASE get into tank a tank squad and learn and ask questions. We are few as is an need more tankers on the field? The majority will help you just make sure you have a mic and follow orders and you will never wanna play any other class. See you on the battlefield
I think you have it covered. I love teaching new players. I've trained over 100 players now.
Good job dude.
I do my best to avoid being SL as I am level 10 already, but truly get enjoyment out of helping new players learn the role, especially if they are eager. I see so many others happily teaching new players, this game is amazing for how welcoming it is.
I do wish engineers weren't limited on the number of defenses they can build, as eventually you feel compelled to switch roles
True. Considering the high cost to build them thr cap should be increased
Well welcome to the game and good job.
Yeah your complaint is addressed in my most Hated HLL players.
Love your videos!! The sheer immensity is quite powerful.
Thank you so much.
Wow i feel seriously honoured to be shown as a 'good medic' thankyou its always a pleasure to do my duty :)
Best medic going, if I can stop TKing you....
@@McBluffinGaming Aw but i love it though!

The Thing with the supporting soldiers in HLL is because people dont see the effect like in the full Tactical games. But them played well is the difference between win and loose.
100% agree. Hardly ever get the respect they deserve
I gravitated to this immediately because of the impact it has. Got the flamer so fast
I would play more medic but I'm too valuable as a panzer destroyer, assault specialist and the only man on the team that actually likes to play support and knows how to place supplies.
As an engineer it’s simple work but it sure is gratifying it hits different
True
A big tip for those learning to play this game, watch genuine WW2 training films, that's how I learned to use bazooka effectively, it does work, except for using the individual sights on the launcher, enlisted has that option but you gotta eye ball it in hell let loose.
I've done this myself for s few aspects of HLL and can confirm it does help
Great vid mate!🫡
Thanks dude. Appreciated
@@McBluffinGaming no problem brother💪🏻🫡
Once in foy, me and my unit were stuck in a hole in the frontline, we had an MG42 rippin trough them, i was just proned there healing and reviving everyone on my unit. We hold that defense position for about 5 or 8 mins with heavy fire and artty all around us. Was one of the most suscefull imerse experiences i had in this game.
Being a medic gives a great boost on your units moral and the ability to get less surpres. Its awsome. And dont make me talk about that hand gun. ❤
One of the players I enjoy the most are the competent commanders who work with their squad leads
What's that?
@@McBluffinGamingA rarity.
O don't forget snipers who take down garrisons in the rear or help fend off arty.
I said most beloved not imaginary....nah I'm joking those boys are a god send when they turn up.
When I was just a wee level 3 or so I met this player who became my mentor. We’ve been playing together ever since.
That's sweet.
I love these Hell Let Loose players soo much
They realy do make the difference, and more people need to recognise them
I was playing medic last night. Someone team killed me on purpose over some light banter due to his name choice and the entirety of the company at that garry would team kill him till he apologised. I got 30 revives shortly after. Thats why i play medic
As a medical main, I'm glad to get the appreciation I deserve. Medic needs a minor buff (more ammo and smoke grenades would be nice) but I risk my life every match for your life
My man
The SLs that bark kill me lmao. They make me wonder if they think were actually in the military. 1944 edition.
I usually end up A, leaving squad. B, doing my own thing if its 'better' for the team (usually coincides with B) or C, writing it off as the most excitement they have and carry on chuckling lol.
Yeah you gotta get the feelers out quick.
Green SL that are willing to learn the role are the best. I just usually explain the different chats and how to use that stopwatch and they become great SL in no time. Once they learn to mark the map and use those binocs then they level up past most SL.
Agreed. As long as people are willing to learn I'll have all the time in the world for them
I'm actually (without any self flattery of course, trying to be objective) the medic and squad leader (and another one not on this list, the supportive and friendly sniper who communicates and cover the ass of my friends and always remain close to my spotter). But everytime I'm SL, I always have great feedback from the squad and sometimes hear things like "you're the best squad leader I had so far" or things like "it was so fun and we played all together, I never saw that before !"
It always feels great !
I don’t have a mic but the amount of people that help me and like treat me like their lil buddy is nice. I’ll just pick a talking teammate and follow them around.
New sub from a fellow grunt ,and a like :)
Appreciated fellow grunt. Check out the discord as well, memes, discussion and everything in-between.
I like the ATs who do hunt tanks and keep them at bay. And not just blow things up.
hey you did a pretty good job there! see ya on the battlefield.
Cheers bud. Soon as I get my PC back up and running I'm gonna be getting stuck in
yes I've been mentioned, (I led an entire trench and a little more somehow, I went from spot to spot checking in and making orders, that was a good match, mostly)
I’ll take that “prox chat leader” whether I’m SL or not, and the OP SL
Great Video, subscribed :)
Cheers buddy, appreciate it. Welcome.
@@McBluffinGaming thanks mate, you nailed it with the Video!
3:25 I like to think I'm more of a Spears
That's a good choice as well
Yes
Medic and support / engineer duo
I play medic with my friend both die he’s medics and we get so many revives average 30 ish
Yeah a dedicated medic is OP
@@McBluffinGaming they are keeps a defensive of point alive
@Ethan Hunt yeah agreed. I can attribute so many wins to medics keeping the team up and bandaged during massive fights.
Squad leaders are literally fresh lieutenant's out of basic training 😂
Normally a squad leader would be like a SGT, but I guess its kinda like a green platoon leader. If you want to roleplay and be useful, help the butterbar succeed.
I am the medic and I love it when people stub their toes c:
Always love your videos! Doing a great job mate!
Thank you dude. 😊
As a new player who can't shoot for shit, I find playing medic and support makes me enjoy playing despite basically being a stormtrooper.
Just remember the storm troopers were missing on purpose
Anybody came across a guy who plays harmonica in proxy chat
Medicss should be able to drag players that have been downed
I love good mg users . Fun as hell😅
Good man
6th most beloved Hell Let Loose player. The guy who will switch roles to whatever the squad needs.
Very true
Been playing this game for two months solid, most addictive and immersive FPS war game since BF3 and 4. Great community (with the odd d-head), but is a smashing game. How many of you were mad and had to be in the mood to play this initially, now you're veterans? 😂
Today I was being a great squad leader
I may not be funny at times but I will always try
Engineers and support players are the back bone of the team
They realy are...and tbh kinda fun. I'm working on a enginner video right now.. trying to make it sexy...
@McBluffin Gaming honestly, playing defense on offensive mode, as the Germans is so much fun. Get 2 or 3 engineers to build a point into a fortress with concrete bunkers. It's sad when our team stops them early and we never even get a chance to defend the fortress we just built lol
@shane hazzard I agree lol
GG give commendations the low level guys need a new hat!
I think more people would play medic if they got more ammo
Medic needs no bullets. Maybe slightly faster run speed
Needs to be a penalty for not waiting for a medic if one is within 100 meters.
Yeah but how often has a medic been within a 100 meters and just watched you die? They need a ping sonthe medic can say he's on the way....then if you let go extra 10 second wait
OMG, they're literally me 😮
Figured
As an "older gentleman with a cinematic gruff voice," mentoring can be as much fun as playing the game it's self. But, be warned, if you ignore us out of hand, we can get very loud and abrasive.
I want you to teach me
great vid
Thank you kind sir.
Some people confuse me
If you wanna go around and just try and keep everyone happy, thank you, that takes a special kind of person
But its so easy to just not be a jerk
You dont have to say anything
im the medic unicorn
Bless you my child.
Number one for me is people that don't make fun of or point out my speech impediment and just talk to me normally. I got called xQc way too many times.
As someone who struggled with a bad lisp when I was younger I feel you on this one
I main the medic, look for me
I will at that friend
Engi is life!
Nice 👍
Half the medic out there run like f idiots going for kills instead of healing and reviving. Not to mention the numerous times he is literally 20 meters away and doesn't even show up for revive.
Everyone who screams “medic” at the top of their lungs makes me get to the next downed guy a little faster
Right!?
