I am an Xbox player. I also paid $30 for the game over a year ago before it dropped on game pass. So I have enough experience to be a productive soldier. These other blueberries tho, they are straight dog water.
Officers walking past supplies where an obviously advantageous garrison could be placed drives me insane. This entire game is is basically 75% determined by your respawn availability and people just ignore it. Just the other day I told an officer we were right next to supplies and he should put down a garrison. He actually said he just didn't want to do it... The guys that start a squad and then leave the officer position open are also pretty bad. I'm trying to level up a separate class but then have to choose between no OPs or playing running simulator.
When I join a squad I always take the squad lead role if it’s empty. I might want to play a different role but ain’t no way I’m playing a running simulator. That burns me out way to fast
Don't forget the people who get furious because your not doing everything the way they think it should be done, the ones who take everything WAYY way to seriously
Yeah one time on defense I was a spotter and I was on the red line when I saw an enemy Garrison in the open. (This was Driel) I marked it and told the commander that it was there and that I couldn't get to it and that he should see to it's destruction (it was only like 200 meters from the bridge). This was before I had played commander (I didn't want to be that idiot that everyone hates and wanted to listen to command chat to get an idea for a long time before stepping up) and when I suggested a precision he then told me (incredibly rudely) that it wasn't possible, saying something along the lines of "are you fucking retarded? Precision's aren't available for the first 25 minutes" I said that I hadn't played commander yet and didn't know that. So I suggested something else, like a bombing run. But he ignored that and continued on some rant about how much he hates retards like me who can't defend a point (I had a huge amount of kills off that Garrison at this point which heavily contributed to defense). Which is hilarious because not only was I in an open recon squad without a sniper, which limits my ability, I was still playing my role exactly how I was supposed to (and effectively). He also went off on a tank crew who asked for a firefly (he had 1200 fuel) because we didn't have 9 nodes up. Anyway back to me, I removed the marker because of apparently how bad I was hurting the team by marking garrisons to destroy, we ended up losing the point (because of that Garrison I'll bet) and that dude left. Oddly enough, we ended up holding them entirely off the point at the very next objective. I wonder why.
They are taking it seriously . And trying to dumb it down as much as possible to take your brain out of the equation and so you learn how the game works. And you still don’t understand and think they are the problem
People who buy this game bought it because they looked into it, they liked the idea of teamwork and coms in a FPS so they paid money for it, they are willing to learn because they chose to be there. Game pass players just look in their game library, see some new shooter with a “milsim” tag and then get mad that people are trying to tell them what to do. It’s all in the intention someone has when they download the game.
Not all. I'm a game pass player that tries to play it properly but the amount of times I join a squad, call stuff out and hear nothing back. I find it very infuriating.
I have this on gamepass on PC because I don't see the point in buying the standalone version on steam. Plenty of steam players not using comms or being supportive of new players just trying to learn the ropes
I first joined HLL from gamepass months ago, and it's only been in these past 2 months that I've really started to sink time into the game and enjoy what it has to offer. However one of my first moments that made me really love HLL was loading into a forest map that I had no clue what was going on, so my buddy suggested to join game chat. Immediately, I heard yelling from team mates in prox chat "grenade out!" "MEDIC!!" "I want to go home.." "I CANT FEEL MY F*CKING LEGS!" "where are we getting shot from?" "PANZER UP THE ROAD" "im going to die here, im going to die.." all while bullets whizzed by my head, artillery fire peppered our surroundings, and nearby troops fell all around me. That was so immersive and completely threw me off guard I could only stand and look around at the chaos unfolding.
I operate a flamethrower most times in this game. It’s so immersive to be doing a full charge for an attack, and I’ll lead the way clearing bunkers and trenches. I’ve noticed morale increases SIGNIFICANTLY when I’m operating the flamethrower.
I hate the spy, that one person who feeds info to their friend on the other team. got a hidden garrison no one should find but some how gets destroyed or your squad gets killed by a perfect artillery strike even though you were not in a combat zone
Two days ago i had the best squad ever. Canadian,Spaniard,Scottish and me Polish. These were the best and at the same time hilerious guys ive met so far in HLL. The Scott Lad was especially funny. Holy shit i just love scotts. Overall the community is awesome.
My nr 1 is people who join your squad 0.001 sec after you create it and then lecture you about where the OP should be and why you are not instantly marking everything they ping.
Dude, with the whole admin thing I got kicked out of a server for supposedly team killing even though the guy that reported me had been killing me nonstop. It’s autistic.
My most hated player, the backseat commander. Doesn't want to do it themself, but wants to undermine every decision you make. Fortunately if you're not a muppet commander, most of the time the other SL's will back you.
Also, it is highly recommended that you get a buddy to pair up with, but you might get that rare unicorn moment of joining a pre-established solo locked recon with a solid veteran SL.
I am guilty sometimes at not communicating much on the voip, some days its a hell of a good match with a great squad, but with the team killers or my pett peeve, the wounders who shoot a team mate and run, this is when you make a callout if possible and offer some steam points to anyone who kills the teamkiller, a bounty if you will, usually they leave quick, one thing that hurts though is the ones who charge off towards the old point instead of setting up defenses on the next point its not like an immediate counterattack will do anything but they throw themselves into the meatgrinder😭
These videos are so awesome. Don't know if you're going to do another most loved video, but if so, even if not, I wanted to bring up "The guy who voluntarily takes over Squad Lead after a shitty squad lead ditches" and tries to turn the shit show around. God bless that guy, comes in mic's hot tries to rally the squad before all is lost.

The players that open a recon or tank squad and either do not have a mic or immediately leave so then your stuck spawning at only garrisons as a sniper and can't get any battlefield advantage. As for the tank squad you end up with two dudes that aren't communicating so then it's an ineffective tank squad. SMH. If you open either tank or recon squads have a mic and use your brain please :) Shout out to Mcbluffin and others like him making the game one of the best out there!🎉

Im in US, i play on tea and country sometimes, its fun i notice different playstyle in europe but thats just it, different tactics and different ways of thinking tactically, we gotta take the time and try to learn from each other, we play on twitch alot and omg ive met so many cool people from around the world its rlly cool, and i feel like embracing other ways of thinking and playing instead of being toxic will ultimately lead to a better community
As someone who primarily man's the artillery, nothing is more infuriating than coordinating and artillery strikes with your commander and squads only for some drooling goblins to just run into your strike zone and sit there, waiting to turn into pink mist.
@@McBluffinGaming I will say the action is way more intense compared to Battlefield. Especially daisy chaining a field with mines then opening up with the squad.
Satchel on the tank or satchel on the house is the call for all the blueberries to assemble. Today, I experienced an SL who initially did well by placing ops and actively using his mic. However, when we were defending, he ordered us to hold our position and said to us to call for help from another squad, as we were the only ones defending, besides 1 or 2 blueberries. Meanwhile, we were being torn apart by MG fire coming from the direction of our former defensive garrison, and our SL just sat in one place on the border of the point. The only one addressing the MG fire was our medic, who had no choice after witnessing our repeated deaths. Despite constant callouts about enemy positions and a recon vehicle, we were ignored, and I really started questioning if he was selectively deaf or something. No answer and no SL-pings. At one point, the enemies nearly captured our point, and it wasn't until the SL himself was shot that he finally asked where the fire was coming from. Then luckily a second squad joined and the defense was strong enough for our attacking squads to push and secure the next point.
Omg, the ones who run in front of a machine gun get me every time lol. It's not loud or bright or anything. Let me just get a haircut on my way to the open field!
Great video. Game pass was a big punch when it came out but I think at this point its become a positive thing. Especially with server browsers now, HLL is in a good place.
Advice for new players that don’t want to be cussed out and kicked straight away, join a squad as anything but officer, get used to rifleman, give anti tank a go ect, use those classes while learning how the game and objectives work, once you’ve learned a bit then give officer a go, 3 main things you need to do as officer is place op’s (spawn point for your squad) build garrisons where the commander has dropped supplies and mark enemy positions/ tanks on the map for everyone to see, usually garrisons are further from the main objective so they don’t get destroyed straight away and so your op should be closer in so your team doesn’t have to run 200 meters from the main Garry everytime, you don’t even need a mic aslong as you do those 3 things, however you need a mic for commander or you will be kicked, only go commander once you’ve mastered everything else and have a good understanding.
Big miss on the squad baiters. For me they are by far the most hated and it happens SO often. Guy creates a a squad, it fills up then he leaves and comes back as another role leaving the squad leaderless. I've played 3400 hours of hll and and only extremely rarely encountered serious "toxicity". Pretty much all of whom are just looking for a reaction and aren't serious.
The most irritating thing is players using squad lead and placing zero outposts, garrisons is whatever not every single squad lead will do it, but it doesn't matter whether it's PC or console, I've encountered both that won't do anything whatsoever. I hate playing squad lead ALL the time, I just want to get my anti tank and engineer classes fully unlocked, but it seems like players would rather run around aimlessly with the same classes or as a noob rifleman, noobs are NOT hated in hell let loose, but we just want them to actually put in the effort to be a contributing member of the team, try to break the ice with your squad and fellow blueberries, don't be afraid to ask questions even if it's about something basic, we're all happy to give you tips because working together is the only way to actually win anything in HLL
The amount if supplies dropped in wrong places for me when i SL Is even worst. Like you can yell at me as much as you want that you dropped the supplies, I cant build the garri in red zone with only 50 supplies, or build one 100m from another two garrison.
Being the only spotter of the 4 recon players taking out the artillery, while the other Officers shout abuse at you for struggling to solo stop a squad of enemy artillery.
The engineer who builds their nodes on the edge of column 2 and 3 but builds them on 3 and gets wiped out when the second point gets lost. Also I’ve encounter some engineers who build their nodes, destroys them and rebuilds them for more XP.
Players who shit on the commander after a loss without any constructive criticism, then refuse to take the command role next match when, for some reason, no one wants to be commander.
You forgot people who run up to and try and stand in the same window/spot you've been in for something like a minute and its not the only point of cover they just want your advantageous position. Also squad leads not marking enemy tanks/no inf support for tanks. Oh and swapping support to drop supplies and your role getting stolen when you do (this is why nobody ever wants to swap).
you forgot the sucker that shoots a rocket at a heavytank while youre placing the satchel, killing you in progress before youre done and then being unable to finish him off because he has only two rockets...
Playing on Xbox after a few days videos like this are an essential part of the acclimation and learning process. Few volunteers for squad lead quickened it faster than I would like. Repeating the same words twice because I'm on the wrong coms channel has been fun. This game is a recommended treatment for cod addiction though I wouldn't tell anyone that.
I will say as an American I do like to joke around with the Europeans in the game but it’s all just for fun and I’ve gotten along with and had great conversations with them. I had an amazing conversation with a Scottish guy once on Kursk, although I couldn’t understand what he said sometimes lol.
Game Pass player here. I remember my team collectively “ughhhhhh” my first match. This explains that, so thank you for that lol. But some of us pass players are team players that’d gladly be decoys and meat shields while we learn the ropes🫡.
@@McBluffinGaming If you ever see “OrphanCripla” on a match and need a meat shield or to see if a pesky sniper is still there, it’d be a privilege. Keep up the good content man.
Brilliant - laughed my arse off at this! And I’m just trying to decide whether or not to get HLL! Sounds like fun, despite idiots (they’re everywhere anyway)…
I try my best as officer but it's hard to learn when most people don't want to listen to me and don't want to cover me so I can get to a safe spot to put an Outpost
I said in the early stages of early access the dev has to have a system which promotes team work and punishes anti-teamwork. Where player do level up as they build, command and kill, it all comes to an end/Max out, accept for the only thing players really continue to get rewarded (bragging rights) for is killing. Every player must contribute like in the real military. they all have a job to do and if they do not they receive automatic citations which can land a player in a training boot camp where they need to work their way out by passing all training exercises. It would be unpleasant and players would want to not end up there. In the end you have only solid working soldier players with experience and a better game experience as the game devs intended originally.
I hate when I take squad lead and then my squad spread out across the map. Instant kick from the squad if you do that bs. Only exception would be for an engineer putting up nodes or defenses at a point.
I’ve been playing on Xbox and ps for a while now and since I don’t know what I’m doing I just attack and defend the objective all the time and that combined with the community for me makes the game a lil bit special in my heart.
I also hate when you lose a match and all the vets switch teams making it super unbalansed and then you go on to have 5 matches were you lose in 5 minutes.
@Rustypotato19 it's usually more fun and rewarding. Don't get me wrong a well done push is gold but knowing you held back an overwhelming push and saved the game feels better
The only one I feel that should be on the list that isn't are Solo tankers who use a heavy and think that they can reenact Fury or something. I agree with all that is on the list, however. Thanks for trying to get the word out to the HLL player base. Hopefully, we may see a change for the better!

The stupidest reason Ive ever been kicked is when I asked if our medic was female and then a minute later got kicked for abuse somehow, somewhat logical I guess but by the gods was it dumb.
It's logical if you're automatically assuming the worst and assuming anyone asking if someone is a female is about to say something sexist and banning them over it, that's an overreaction
You didn't deserve to be kicked but I do find it weird you asked that. Does it influence the game? Who cares? Why did you care enough to ask that? Usually when I get teammates that ask that type of questions they just want to use squad chat to talk like it's a chat room and not actually play the game.
@beertlont776 Maybe he want to wife up a gamer girl. There's 1 woman for every 5000 players in the game aint nothing wrong with asking😂😂😂 It's just a video game bud
Glad to say I’m not any of these players but I’ve encountered a few of them. Apart from no1, I have never met anyone abusive at all. As soon as I start chatting everyone is on your side and talking about the game. You sometimes get idiots abusing the mic but they’re easy to mute.
I just started playing on console. EVERY single persons mic sounds like they’re screaming. Has to be a game issue. But at the same time nobody utilizes mute.
McBluffin Gaming The last one is so true and I have a story about one game for that. This one was a rare occurrence of multiple in one lobby, I was running as a squad machine gunner on Kharkov and there was like 5-8 other full squads? Good match. Anyhow, we were playing and talking but no garrisons were being pulled up and no one was successfully taking our next point in offensive, so I asked my SL "What in the world is command doing?" He replied "Let me check" and goes over to the leadership channel. Minutes later he returns and the squad asked "What's going on?" Alone behold our SL explained to us that all Leaders were trying to kick one of em for being God damn "Hispanic" we all laughed and said that was a stupid reason, I'd never seen so many douches though in one game though. 😂
Recently got kicked from commander, one guy didn't like me. My buddy said no one stepped up to take the position and nobody got supplies/Garry after I got kicked
I hate it when the Squad Leader/Commander doesn't have a mic. When idiots don't learn to look at their map, I'm usually on Artillery which i'm pretty good at using after I gotten used to it and command asks for an arty strike, you'll have one or 3 idiot players running towards the arty marker or when i'm playing as commander I'll point out that I'm calling in a plane attack weather it be precision or bombing run you get idiot players running towards it after being warned not to head that way until after the attack was done. I was nearly kicked in a match for tking several teammates with a bombing run despite being warned not to go near that location. I also hate it when some players start blasting music in prox chat
Believe it or not, I hardly have any player types that I actually dislike in Hell Let Loose. The only exceptions are solo-tankers with their own private squads and probably Commanders that just woke up and chose violence, trying to ruin the game for their team because "it's full of idiots" or something. As for all the others (trolls, badmouthers, teamkillers, newbie teammates, etc.), it's pretty difficult to actually get irritated by them just because I play Hell Let Loose with a more laid back approach (plus, it can be kinda funny to witness that stuff sometimes). And if they ever do start becoming a problem, by that time I would have just muted and ignored them or they get kicked by my team, so it works out in the end.

Players that run to the next locked point when you're still struggling to take the current enemy point.
Yup
Don't forget the people who get furious because your not doing everything the way they think it should be done, the ones who take everything WAYY way to seriously
Oh I got those guys in a previous video
@@McBluffinGaming oh my bad I must have missed it, but I'll definitely check it out. Keep it up man love your videos and sense of humor 🤘
If you’re in a company you need to listen to the squad leader. Otherwise find a different game.
I was killed by my teammates for not speaking German while I was killing enemies and dismantling garrisons.
Yeah some people are just trash bags
People who buy this game bought it because they looked into it, they liked the idea of teamwork and coms in a FPS so they paid money for it, they are willing to learn because they chose to be there. Game pass players just look in their game library, see some new shooter with a “milsim” tag and then get mad that people are trying to tell them what to do. It’s all in the intention someone has when they download the game.
This comment should be pinned its spot on mate!🫡
Not all. I'm a game pass player that tries to play it properly but the amount of times I join a squad, call stuff out and hear nothing back. I find it very infuriating.
About 20 percent of gamepass players are decent.
I have this on gamepass on PC because I don't see the point in buying the standalone version on steam. Plenty of steam players not using comms or being supportive of new players just trying to learn the ropes
there are also many people that just hear about it, it sounds or looks cool to them and they buy it without doing any research
The sound of my MG or browning are like a mating call for friendlies
Yup same. At times I was so struck by the action that, like you, I could only watch on in amazement
I operate a flamethrower most times in this game. It’s so immersive to be doing a full charge for an attack, and I’ll lead the way clearing bunkers and trenches. I’ve noticed morale increases SIGNIFICANTLY when I’m operating the flamethrower.
🤣😂🤣 YES!
The flame thrower kills on the garry, right before you started the non defenders bit was clutch
I hate the spy, that one person who feeds info to their friend on the other team. got a hidden garrison no one should find but some how gets destroyed or your squad gets killed by a perfect artillery strike even though you were not in a combat zone

My nr 1 is people who join your squad 0.001 sec after you create it and then lecture you about where the OP should be and why you are not instantly marking everything they ping.
funny list! as one who primarily plays engineer for the satchel and AP mines I sure could relate to the penultimate winner
Dude, with the whole admin thing I got kicked out of a server for supposedly team killing even though the guy that reported me had been killing me nonstop. It’s autistic.
That happens sometimes when I play commander just keep asking for nodes and banned for 2 hrs
My most hated player, the backseat commander. Doesn't want to do it themself, but wants to undermine every decision you make. Fortunately if you're not a muppet commander, most of the time the other SL's will back you.
4:30 I’ll never forget when I was kicked from the game because I chose the winning team faster than an admin or someone with control.
Yikes
Big up Rex 🖤💪
3:54 I thought the sniper class was a myth, everytime I've tried to play recon I'm a spotter
You have to join a squad that's already got a spotter, you can't start a recon squad and be a sniper
Also, it is highly recommended that you get a buddy to pair up with, but you might get that rare unicorn moment of joining a pre-established solo locked recon with a solid veteran SL.
You forgot to mention the AFK commander. A less common player. But common enough to notice it.
@DGDarcy it would round out the series nicely tbf. Thanks dude
"Commander can I (single Tanker) have a häääävyyyyyy Tääääänk"
In the SL defense, sometimes command chat is an absolute circus and you can’t hear or forget all about your squad
Nr 2 100000% true , i dont know how many times i got kicked for teamkilling when i have Screamed in the mic satchel On house with red roof or tank , and then watch 5 people run in or at the tank like ants to a sugercube,, awesome vid,, see you in Tea server
Cheers, see you on the field
The players that open a recon or tank squad and either do not have a mic or immediately leave so then your stuck spawning at only garrisons as a sniper and can't get any battlefield advantage. As for the tank squad you end up with two dudes that aren't communicating so then it's an ineffective tank squad. SMH. If you open either tank or recon squads have a mic and use your brain please :) Shout out to Mcbluffin and others like him making the game one of the best out there!🎉

100% agree with the admin part worst than actually trolls, got kicked once for calling one a pussy for kicking people for swearing
Great vid brotha
the amouint of supplies i put down that don't get used by officers is depressing tbh...
Man I feel this
The amount if supplies dropped in wrong places for me when i SL Is even worst.
Like you can yell at me as much as you want that you dropped the supplies, I cant build the garri in red zone with only 50 supplies, or build one 100m from another two garrison.
Another awesome video mate 🤘🏻
Cheers buddy, appreciated
Being the only spotter of the 4 recon players taking out the artillery, while the other Officers shout abuse at you for struggling to solo stop a squad of enemy artillery.
The engineer who builds their nodes on the edge of column 2 and 3 but builds them on 3 and gets wiped out when the second point gets lost. Also I’ve encounter some engineers who build their nodes, destroys them and rebuilds them for more XP.
Thats just dumb because helping others build nodes gains xp, and so does building defensive objects. Least it did last i played.
There needs to be an algorithm that seperates people that actually care and have mics and players that are doing their own thing.

Just downloaded the game, and am doing recon to get a better feel of whats to come. Looking forward to hours of battle hardened experience ahead...
I'd say rifleman is the best class when starting out, but as long as your going where you're meant to, all good

dont tell that nobody hate that squadleaders that instantly open a closed squad.

The last one is so true and I have a story about one game for that. Minutes later he returns and the squad asked "What's going on?"
Alone behold our SL explained to us that all Leaders were trying to kick one of em for being God damn "Hispanic" we all laughed and said that was a stupid reason, I'd never seen so many douches though in one game though. 😂
