This is by far the best review of ear buds I have seen. You obviously went through allot of work to bring the consumer good choices. Thank you for all your efforts.
Great video... if you ever do a follow up, perhaps you could pick 2 or 3 form each category and then rank 'em by (Great, Good and Fair) sound quality(?) Maybe you could also warn us which ones had the least impressive sound quality. Also, the video would likely get a lot more views if it had a more specific/less confusing title ;)
Nothing personal, just seems odd such a well done video, with such popular review content, hasn't rocketed past 1500 views by now(?) I suspect the title is keeping the video from reaching its targeted audience. Regardless, nice job and all the best!
Yes who wants a headphone jack when you can have bluetooth. What, wait, you mean there are phones that have bluetooth and a headphone jack. Wow just wow. Its so nice not to be a apple fanboy.
Jaybirds are good for workouts but my newly bought Bose soundsport has amazing sound price of 130 great battery life of 7 hours if lucky and fits very well in ear
Thank you for your reviews. Can you do a review on the best earbuds for people that weren’t blessed with the ear pocket? Seems like the wireless beats are the only ones that work only cause they hook around the ear to stay put. Do they have earbuds that can stay i for those if us that have no “ear pockets?” Thank you
That’s pretty cool but instead of the jaybirds I would put power beats 3 over them with jaybirds you have to customize every style of music and when you buy them they come with a flat sound with beats it’s connect and play but the rest was spot on liked the video simple and too the point
I haven't tried the X3's from Jaybird, but I've been using the Freedoms for a long time and I have never once considered using sired earbuds since. I would genuinely rather wait for my Freedoms to charge rather than use wired earbuds. Might consider getting the X3's though, because I can't find my Freedom after never losing them for over a year... So...
I hate in ear ones as they hurt my ears when they go into the ear canal. What's the best non in ear earbud I can get? Some examples of non in ear ones are the AirPods, PixelBuds and Samsung Level Us.
aashishfalswal my neighbours like it when I blast music against the wall, the reason your neighbors hate you is most probably the fact that you have a shit taste in music.
He had ADV sound model 3's on the table, I'd like to mention that with those, you can disconnect the actual earbuds from their Bluetooth wire that goes around your neck and reconnect them to a different wire that comes in the box with a 3.5mm jack on the end of it, so if you run out of battery, you can use them with this wire and plug them into your device and continue listening, while you recharge your Bluetooth one. Not to mention that down the road if one of your wires gets damaged for any reason, you can just buy that, or replace any part of the set, without having to shell out for new earphones. They sound really good and I love the versatility.
So I've watched about a dozen Bluetooth or wireless earbud related videos. I've concluded that they are a colossal waste of money. I can get a comfortable high quality set of wired earbuds for $40 and under. Either they are completely wireless, which means the battery life sucks, they get lost easily, and expensive. Or they are still wired, usually with a large ugly bulky collar and still need to be charged.
But that's not the point Sherlock, eliminating the 3.5 mm jack means you automatically cut down the convenience of directly using any headphones out there (provided they feed up from a handset). There is no reason to do this: - The latest Iphone is 984392849328 bigger than the first Iphone - which had the jack, this to shut down any bullshit argument that there was no space, yeah right! - There are already manufacturers water sealing their handsets and keeping the audio jack! This is simply, and quite straight forward I'm afraid, plot from Apple to make more money out of idiots, and for you guys to get payed by Apple to justify this ridiculous and mindless move!
Bufriot since the iPhone 6s it has had a degree of water resistance, and at no point did Apple state it was due to space restrictions either. let's face it, convenience will always be more appealing and the burden of wires and untangling makes it a compelling reasosn to boycott a legacy port, when there's two option that rather proficiently do the task just as well. people rarely care about the quality of music when listening to a heavily compressed MP3 file or worse (streaming). Matter of fact, people throw down money on products with all this hyperbole attached, when they're getting no better of an audio experience (looking at you beats). what it boils down to is convenience, people don't care so much about quality these days so long as it does the job good enough, baring in mind not many people will have a reference between a plethora of priced headsets. The law of diminishing is rather applicable here in this certain topic, and there's simply not much else you can do with a headphone jack. The flexibility of using the charging port or wireless allows you to use external powered DAC's and also has the convenience of no wires that fray and break, spending further money to keep replacing them (as is the case with typically cheap esrphines). while the drawbacks of a headphone jack is undeniable it's not a terrible move at all, as more and more companies are following suit rather interestingly, much like how VHS was replaced with dvd, and that with Blu-ray and now even 4k didgital media is taking over. It's a matter of preference; while either have their benefit they also have drawbacks, and ultimately it doesn't really make much difference as you're limeted to what you're listening to, as the case is heavily compressed and / or streamed content. So, running very expensive headphones though them is sort of pointless amd excessive to a degree. the point is either way apple isn't directly benefiting from using 3rd party accessories, which makes your statement redundant. I believe the best audio experience, without compromise, is to have a dedicated set up, to listen to music and do nothing else. as I said there's only so much you can do when compromising audio fidelity over convenience. It's a phone end of the day, apple aren't the only ones who have or are doing this and I'm not going to boycott or slate a phone for doing what it needs to, as clearly being a portable device convenience is emphasized heavily. and while it's initially awkward to grow accustom to when it's potentially total has fully been reached poeple won't care. all it needs is to be capitalised and developed on more, as I mentioned there's companies increasingly adoptibg this philosophy. I see this as people just having an excuse to bash apple, while literally hundreds of companies are all heading for the same goal; wireless. be it transactions of money, charging, audio and even connectivity, the future is wireless regardless of how people feel. Everyone is going towards that where they can. There's a place for analogue, but also places where it's becoming increasingly redundant.
It seems like you got great information here but you don't have to spend hundred to hundreds of dollars my remax rb-S10 have ridiculous range there have a light weight chain around the neck they have amazing mids and great base best of all they are like 3o bucks on amazon and there are plenty of other budget awesome magnetic headphones
Shit this guy must've been a good salesman back in the day. Probably worked his way up pretty far.
This is by far the best review of ear buds I have seen. You obviously went through allot of work to bring the consumer good choices. Thank you for all your efforts.
Jaybird freedoms are good too. Mine went through the washer twice, and still worked like brand new.
well you cleaned them so of course they are gonna sound like new, dumbass
For the Jaybird X3's, the proprietary charger is a huge deal breaker for me.
apparently, this time I don't need to click another 5 or 8 vids or whatever to make me feel confident about the topic. because this is THE ONE.
How many people actually own the apple pods? They seem a little ridic
Jackson Bikafer The only idiot here is you. This comment was made 2 years ago before Airpods were a huge thing dumb shit
@Jackson Bikafer , wow you're a prick.

Is Jabra halo smart good? Would you suggest it ....I read they have really low sounds ...
I love the Air Pods' features but they just look too fugly to me that I'd settle for the other ones with less features.

Could not listen to this guy because of an overwhelming desire to punch his face. If Yelp could be embodied, here it is.
Marcellus Santos brutal but hilarious; the internet in a nutshell.
Kipsch? Did he say Kitsch? Talk about amature. A review by a comedian, useless review
chill mate, he had a long week
