These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
Since everyone's just dumping on this review, I own these for a couple of weeks now and still haven't found any cons. I used to think they're not very comfortable but then I realized I wasn't supposed to cram the mushroom cap in my ear canal, instead let the earlobe do the carrying. I use these around the house as I go about my day and they never lost connection, even behind walls. I never use max volume because it's too strong and it leaves consequences (my ears didn't work properly for a day, like after a loud concert). edit: The sound quality for me is better than 7/10. My headset is the original HyperX Cloud (the first one with all the perfect reviews) and these don't have a significantly lower sound quality.
Yo im a big fan of your channel but imo I think you should be more critical about things you review. you only give the pros but everything has some cons man cmon! :)
@@UnboxJunkie my suggestion is for you to up your standarts a bit, so we can easily seperate the gold from the trash audio devices, sorry if i am too harsh
I've got a couple of questions. 1) If you put on the larger shark fin, do you have to remove it before placing it into the charging case? 2) If it has paired with the iPhone, can it pair with the Mac as well? Does it remember multiple devices? Thank you!!
Dude puts in the title and says in the video "these headphones are waterproof" 1 second later "now these aren't waterproof you can't go swimming with them" then why did u put that in the title?
There was no need for the correction in your video. The 1.5h you pointed to is the charge time. Meaning, how long they take to charge. Great video as usual.
80 bucks price tag. Not bad. I've been rocking the Geekee True Wireless buds, you should try them. A lot of the same specs for a bit less than these. Although I have to say that Havit killed it on the case.
They do sound good for sure and I suspect they wouldn't cut out if I had an Android device. But on my phone and Macbook, they cut out for me constantly.
Just one reminder, the increase in distance of Bluetooth 5 is for Low Energy connection. Music play use standard connection. So the distance should be similar to Bluetooth 4
On the website the inside of the charging case is red, and in your video its grey, I dont know if its a newer version or something, would like to know if they are the same quality product. Cool video though!
Few hours ago I was deciding among two... Skull Candy Indy or these ones... just because this video I bought them... I'll tell you how they sound next week. 🤙🏻
Bluetooth 5 offers way more as a standard but it, as before, depends heavily on the implementation - you can have 4.2 devices that perform way better than the 5.0 ones if the implementation is not up to par. As an example (and there are more just can remember the others right now) Jabees Beebuds have Bluetooth 5.0 and can sometimes lose connection from the phone in my front pant pocket while I'm walking --- seems as though it's interference with my work phone in my bag sometimes, sometimes it works, sometimes there's breaking connection even without my work phone present ----- I was also excited for the B5.0 and that's why i got them compared to getting something else .... but it is what it is.
The appeal of 5.0 Bluetooth as far as earbuds are supposed to work is that they don’t have to communicate to each other but both can have 1 connections to the phone
@Oakazz- As for the price with this kinda new technology it is what it is. All of the higher end wireless earbuds were around a $150.00 dollars. I also had an issue with the sound from earwax build up I simply choose to remove the inner screen. Again at the price were that shouldn't be required but in my case the good their were more advantages to keeping them over other brands available.
Just was on their web site, they now come with a wireless case. And an option for 10.00 to get a Qi Charging pad. Pretty cool set up for 100.00 So 80 for No Wireless charging 90 Wireless without Pad. 100 Wireless with Pad. So if your review stands with feel and sound then this is a pretty good deal.
