      +of a kind one ok first off,
      1. sound - its ok but for it being apple and costing $30, smh
      2. cable - I'm pretty tall and I'm limited to my movement and it tangles a lot also
      3. tips - not everyone has the same size ear, freaking 5 dollar ear buds have better comfort than this be
      4. apple - there made buy apple so you should already know there gonna be shitty and overpriced
      you are better of getting some $20 skullcandies at walmart (oh and I almost forgot the mic quality inset even that good

    I used to buy the Panasonic RP-HJE125 from a little store next to my house for like 9 euro. Just the best you can get for the low price. It's the same one as the TCM125, but without the mic (which I don't need anyway). Very durable also... Used one set for like two years until the wire got stuck in the spokes of my bike while cycling, then bought another one which I still have. If you're on a really low budget and want something that will last for some time, definitely get those Panasonic. They're really small and fit great, you barely feel them.
    Also with Viper4Android they can beat earphones that are much more expensive. V4A has configurations for many many earphones which makes the sound coming out neutral, and over that you can then apply many nice tricks to make everything sound incredible.

      Omar Correa yeah other than the fact that they are sort of messed up now due to my own fault. They sound great and fit in my ear just fine, people don't realize that not 1 size fits all ears so just because "omg it always falls out" doesn't always apply. Sound quality is good too, the only thing i agree with is the cable but for 20$ not a big deal in my opinion. non mic ones i should say 30$ with mic

    • @KRX_WestCoast
      @KRX_WestCoast 10 років тому

      Totally agree ,i just love earpods comfortable and clear sound ,cable can get messy but that nothing unusual, just dont think that earphone are the one to buy for high end sound quality, thats job for headphones in my opinion.

    I agree the Panasonics sound really good, especially considering the price.. However.. The Sony MDR-xb50ap's are absolutely amazing!! The bass is so powerful, it tingles your ears the same way they would if you were in a car with massive subs. In addition, the Highs are so well defined.. Cymbals actually sound like Cymbals, not just some high pitched distortion. The middle range is great as well, if you listen to the Heavy Metal with the guitar tone, some people call Djent or Thall, these are perfect, as you need a headset that can offer the deep tight punch from the low end, yet clarity of a piano. I'm serious about these.. If you don't mind the higher price point, this is honestly justified. I have to say, do yourself a favor, and get them..

      I use my rooted Nexus 7 tablet with the Viper4android, and HTC One X+ also with Viper4Android.. And with each of the above.. Using the Viper4Android just makes the music cone to life.. So many options, and customizations you can do.. Which just further enhances and separates the details in the music.. I can't listen to music without it.

    • @harveytrevino2257
      @harveytrevino2257 9 років тому

      by the way.. Are they worth it.. Full MSRP, barely.. But on sale to $40 or less absolutely..

    • @SUBROSABEATS.
      @SUBROSABEATS. 9 років тому

      Javier Trevino okay thanks.i found them on amazon just for 39 dollars. It's worth it. I like basssss, but i dont want it to loose the highs and midds so is this a good buy for a bass head?

    • @harveytrevino2257
      @harveytrevino2257 9 років тому +2

      I would definitely say that these are a really good earbud for bassheads.. As I stated in my original post, Bass drops in Heavy metal and the bass lines in Rap songs cause my eardrums to tingle because of the bass pressure.. Surprisingly, Sony has found a way to get really deep bass and excellent detailed highs in a Dynamic driver. Ever since I stumbled onto Balanced armature drive ear buds, I've been hooked.. But, you will be spending a lot more that $40 for a pair.. Most Balanced armature drive ear buds worth buying are in the $200 range.. (Shure's make a crowd pleaser SE215 for $100, but as with everything, sound can be subjective. I have the Sony XBA-1's and XBA-2's. The XBA-1's, I was able to find on Amazon for $32.. And have clarity I've never heard out of an earbud.. However, bass is something to be desired for.. The XBA-2's on the other hand have the additional BA Driver that is tuned for deeper bass notes, not complete Sub-Bass though.. I'd say in 50-65hz range is their sweet spot for deep bass.. But step up to their XBA-4's.. That's when you get that 50hz all the way down to the lowest note achievable that your ear can recognize. But Expect to pay anywhere from $180 used to $500 brand new for those.. Will the audiophile in you be pleased with your purchase at $180 yes.. Maybe even at $300.. But as always with any product.. Never at full retail price.. Lol..The same can be said about any of the Multiple BA driver ear buds, Shure SE846 ($1,000) Ultimate Ears 18 Pro ($1,300)
      Just food for thought.. Absolute amazing sound will cot you.. But for the average consumer.. These $40 Sony's have astounding bass, warm mids, and distinct highs.. I find they are fantastic for bass lover in all of us..

    It took me like 20 minutes to replace the soft plastic buds on the actual speakers with largest buds. Now that the seal is pretty much airtight, the sound quality rivals any sub 200$ large headphones and is just nipple hardening.

      tcw I dont think so. They are just being objectives. When Apple products are the best, they are not afraid to call them the best. Unlike Microsoft fanboys and Fandroids.

    • @trentbosnic
      @trentbosnic 10 років тому +1

      hanif_govan Like how they call 5.5 inch Android phones "unwieldly" and score them negatively because of it, and then call Apple's 5.5 inch phone "big, but not so big that it's unwieldly". Or how they think the Apple Watch is better looking than the Moto 360, although that is clearly a very unpopular opinion among objective reviewers and just people in general.
      The Verge is in my top 5 favourite websites on the internet, for real. But they are absolutely not objective when it comes to their unrelenting and unsubstantiated praise of Apple. To The Verge, Apple can and never will do anything wrong, and that's a really cunty attitude to have.

    I have the Sony's mentioned in this video. He's not joking when he mentions the cable doesn't tangle easily; I've only had to unravel mine from any meaningful knot 3 or 4 times in the last year of ownership. They also sound quite good for the price, especially on the lower end. The only downside is that they can be difficult to clean.

    I have earpods which I got with my iPod touch 5 some years ago, they don´t work nice anymore and I decided to buy the Xiaomi Hybrid Pro (cause I read they are of the best under $50) and I can tell you that I noticed the great quality of the earpods. Hybrid pro are great with clean sounds, has a lot of presence in high frequencies and the bass is not the best. I use to hear rock/metal and sometimes (usually with cymbals) the sound gets saturated and distorted. I haven´t tried another earphones but I would buy the earpods again because they offer a right balance in that kind of music.

    You should try out Skullcandy Titans. To be honest, they're amazing. Less than $25, enough bass power to make yours ears itch, and crisp clear sound and made complete out of metal. I've had mine for 2 years now and for me, that's a long time for headphones to last. Lots of people hate on skullcandy for no reason, but these are amazing. I just bought a set of the Sony MDR-XB50AP and love the Extra Bass feature, way better than the stock Apple earbuds. Although I'd hate to admit that I paid $60, because when you are seriously anxious in the air, you don't care, and you do whatever you need to do to keep your (mental) sanity. I bought them in either, Boston's Logan Airport or Charlotte, N.C.'s airport, cause I had lost my old cheap ones. But the sound quality feels worth it!.

      What should i buy?
      Thinking about Sol Republic Jax.

    My current earbuds are the Philips TX1's, they sound great, they are alright with bass and they are 35€ or $30 depending where do you live. They also include 3 different sized caps or I don't know the things you put in your ear and they have a better than average quality mic + a pause and play button. Overall a great pair of headphones!

    Agree for Panasonic definitely. Had the exact same. Amazing sound they put out, pretty well balanced. Don't judge by the built quality of them which is not so great. If handled with a little care, they can last with no prob.

    Xiaomi Pistons are also great value, $25 for the v2.1 version, great bass, quality cable, and very durable.
    SoundMagic E10, Vsonic GR07 are also great contenders

    I got the Sol Republic Jax for 30$ at Bestbuy and man they sound great! Yes, they do fall out sometimes, but if you use the proper eartip, they should stay in fairly well. They are definitely the best headphones I have used in this price range!

    The Sony EX155AP EX are fairly new but they sound really good. They provide great highs mids and lows without being too harsh in any category. I'd imagine they would compete well with the Panasonic ear buds in the video, which I might as well buy since they're so cheap lol. You really can't go wrong with Panasonic anything.

    apple's ear pods are literally the best earphones i have ever owned. before i started using them, i was a big fan of these in-ear noise cancelling earphones (featured in this video) which sounded amazing but fell out easily, were generally uncomfortable and made my inner ears itchy and on top of that, the most durable one i used probably lasted about 5 months before the right blew out. my brother bought an iphone and got a pair of ear pods with it, i tried it and found that it produced nearly identical sound (bass and everything) as that noise cancelling rubber shit. i bought a pair almost 2 years ago and with heavy, daily usage, still sounds as great as the first day i used it.
    I'm normally not a huge fan of apple stuff but these ear pods are definitely one of their greatest feats of engineering.

    I was used to crappy earbuds that came with almost every new phone, so I thought that all earbuds are crappy. Then I bought Philips SHE3705 and I realized that even €15 earbuds are way better than those that came with my phones. They are small, you get 3 rubber sizes to find one which fits your ears the best, it happened more than once that I sleep through whole night with those in my ears, listening some audio-book and without any uncomfort, even if they are against the pillow because they are very small. They wont fall out from ears and the sound is amazing, the sound is clear, there is enough bass, in general everything is much better than what you can expect from €15 earbuds...

    Very useful review. I have the Yurbuds and I think they're quite good for their ability to stay in place, their sweat resistance during heavy workouts, their overall durability (the cord is no fuss) and their good (but not best) sound quality. Although, the bass isn't the strongest and I rarely use the rubber, inner-ear cover because it can get uncomfortable with longer wear times (they still stay in place very well, without). I find the Apple cord annoying and their durability really poor. And, the Samsungs, while durable and nice sounding, ALWAYS fall out of my ear. I'll have to give those Sony MDR-XB50s a try for non-athletic use....they look nice, too. Cool.

    Okay. I have the panasonic earbuds mentioned in the video and let me get one thing straight. They sound FINE. Not great, not bad, not gonna rock your world and certainly not exceptional. The comfort is a strong point I must admit, and for the price you really can't beat the value proposition but they do not "sound fantastic"

    The Sony MDR-EX450AP are in the same price range like the XB50AP. But they give you a more balanced sound. I bought two pairs for only 24€. Normally they will cost you around 32€

    Falling out In-Ears?
    Wear them properly with the cable over the ear, almost every better in-ear out there can only be worn with the cable over you ear and most cheap ones can be worn like this, too. Just try it out, it gives you better fit and less cable noise.
    BTW, UE200 are IMHO pretty good, too.

Back then I bought my creative ep-630 for $60 now it is considerably cheaper, I bought this creative earbuds in 2008 and it is still working up till today and it is my go-to earbuds. I've used this creative earbuds for 6 years after so many other more expensive earbuds have failed or spoiled within 1-2 years.
