Correct all her current actions in the comics and films have been pure villain she is not an anti-hero in the slightest. I mean she literally in a way told every villain to go wild and commit all sorts of heinous and inhumane crimes including murder and terrorism in the latest DC event Absolute Power because she depowered every hero, heroine, anti-hero, and anti-heroine with superpowers simply because she's extremist politician who uses patriotism and the US's best interests as a excuse for her crimes. Only version of Waller that can be argued as being a anti-heroine is the version of her from Justice League Unlimited and that's because she learned after the Brainac incident during Lex's presidential campaign that the Justice League aren't a threat to the US. Waller in the current comics, and films no she's a villain through and through.
@@derrickhaggard There's also Waller in Suicide Squad. She did it all to protect the greater good even when it came to wiping out the entire nation. She's a piece of shit for sure but Her patriotism does drive her to believe she's doing it to save others.
I'm glad Venom is on this list. Venom is like a bad guy among other "badder" guys like Riot. Therefore, it makes him seem good. But his envy for Peter is what makes him pure bad.
Bernthal’s Punisher was great in daredevil season 2, but after he got his own show, they didn’t do him right. He wanted to live a normal life, he was merciful, he was too fatherly, too emotional and he gets his face beaten a lot. He wasn’t the scary, untouchable, brute assassin like he was in the comics
I hope Disney does Bernthal’s Punisher right, and does right by Bernthal. He’s such a great actor and it’s such a great role for him. He’s probably one of my favorite characters in any comic book universe, probably right above Ghost Rider. Imagine if Bernthals Punisher, Agents of shield’s ghost rider, and maybe Deadpool or even another character like Punisher and Ghost rider all came together and they were in a comic book series or tv series, OMG. If that ever happens, I’d go beyond nuts over it.
Have to disagree with punisher season 1. I’m not that into the comics but for what it was it was fkn awesome. Tbh I’d say it’s one of my favourites just behind breaking bad. Season 2 though, I thought it was good but the first was far better to me

That’s just my personal preference tho. Like some are better with the comic type vibe but to me I think some excel with the more grounded approach
Definitely wrong season 1 they gave him depth and realistic to the character and show the trauma frank was living. Season 2 near the end frank finally accepted who he is and embraced the punisher persona. Season 3 had it not been cancelled would have been the definitive punisher
ray stevenson and thomas jane were better than bernthal in terms of being punisher, they were calmer, cold, stoic, emotionless, ruthless and brutal, dark and gritty, john bernthal was nothing like the punisher but was the best written

Calling Amanda Waller a anti-hero is not true especially considering how she currently acts in the comics. Aka how in Absolute Power she just essentially just gave every villain major and minor the go-ahead to commit various heinous crimes including murder and terrorism because she found a way to depower every hero and heroine.
She's an anti-hero because she does whatever it takes to get the job done. Usually at the cost of others she deems insignificant when it comes to the greater good. She's very much an antihero. No different than Thunderbolt Ross using villains in the same way.
