Joel is so very good at his job! His work is just classical. I particularly like this space. It seems that most designers go for neutral many times, but Joel shows how calm and peaceful can look with gorgeous colour. Love it!
This space has many tips and tricks. It's masculine, yet with a few feminine appointments, it could be suited for a woman. I love the Brick detail, the grasscloth (A+), and the added bar at the end of the counter, to name a few. Well done, sir.
I knew this was going to be an amazing transformation when I saw that Joel was the designer. He is incredibly talented! This condo looks so beautiful and is 100% livable as well! I'd love to live there! ❤
Joel has that magic touch! There is nothing, and I do mean nothing he has done that I haven't absolutely loved! There's a simplicity there but so much oomph too! We definitely need more Joel!
LOVE this condo! Joel is usually spot-on and I get why he says he loves this project--it's fantastic. And thank goodness it's a bachelor pad. I'm a bachelor, and a condo owner, and I VERY much appreciate that House & Home actually profiles more-than-the-usual-number of single-person condo or apartment spaces than most shelter websites and magazines. Anyway, two thumbs up for Joel! Great job!
I like every thing except that three-armed overhead light fixture that is centered where the dining table would have been. It seems heavy and out-of-place. I always enjoy Joel’s videos about his projects.
This is very nice. I particularly like the dining area-people are far too fixated on dining right next to the kitchen, but when the space is small, walking a few feet is not a big deal (it’s still closer than the formal dining room would be a kitchen in the average house). Also, it’s nice to not feel like you’re dining in the middle of an aisle or hall, which is what would otherwise happen if the dining table were where the builder intended. I am not a fan of the brick fireplace. It’s just too out of context in a modern building (and in a unit with otherwise modern finishes). It ends up looking too staged, like set decorating. I personally would also have injected a bit more colour into the space. Not vivid circus colours of the 90s, but just a bit more. When spaces are SO monochromatic as this one, one feels as if one would not dare buy the wrong book, artwork, or sweater before walking into the space. It’s just too strict for me.
What's unacceptable is your relentless and boring negative comments on every single video released by house and home. You never say positive things. You come here with negativity. Yawn. Its boring and tiresome and beyond predictable. Unsubscribe if you don't like the content instead of filling the comments section with your lowbrow comments.
It is an interesting layout and placement of furniture but the colours are just blah and depressing. There is no life to it. It looks more like a showroom than some one's home.

Yes! Joel makes neutral cool, not boring! ❤
Joel always knocks it out of the park. I always look forward to videos featuring his projects.
This is a beautiful condo. It's bright, airy but also very cozy. It just feels very serene and inviting.
Love the greens and the black. Beautiful and sophisticated but relaxed as well.
Joel is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers. I love everything about this space.

I am stealing that hack of using a wall-hung bedside table as an entrance console.
LOVE how this turned out. The palette is perfect! Nice job.
Love the tailored elegance, and that the texture and finishes provide the right amount of richness.
What a beautifully designed space. Joel is an extraordinary designer and I would love to see more of his work on this channel. Cheers.
Love how Joel uses Green in interesting tones…wonderfully warm and natural !!!

Gorgeous. Great job by the decorator.
I always love Joel's work. Well done!

Love those bar stools! Where are they from?
Love love love the painting at the back of the couch. Where is that from?
It's a Greg Hardy from Vancouver gallery. Rachel @ Lioprojects consulted on the art (referred to by Joel).
So nice, great work with the fireplace!!! Love it❤😊
I really like this!!!!
Yes. More videos of this nature please.
Love this designer, he always does a great job.
Ive been looking for those moss green pillows everywhere on line. Where did you get the.?
That was a complete makeover..what was the budget for this

Your projects are always so cool, modern and timeless. Awesome!

Joel you're a great designer! Always do incredible projects
The space feels comfortable.. congratulations on a very nice project
Very nice💯
Very nicely done. :) and well spoken. Great job!
Love how the small space was changed to make it seem bigger. The furniture is modern but not full on modern which I like.
Amazing work and style! Thank-you!❤😊
I feel like Joel matched his shirt to the room 👀
He won’t be living alone after this 🤣 this is beautiful😃
If its possible I hope House & Home would make a house tour during morning & night to see how their design looks like during at night
May be the angles this was shot at, but the TV looks way off to me. Not in the line of vision with the seating at all.

Slaaaaaaaaaaaaayed!!!!🎉❤
Bankets/benches are not sold out yet?
I like the space. The location of the TV is crap tho 😂
Very nice)
ราคาเท่าไหร่ค่ะ
More of Joel please! ♥️
Joel did his thing😮💨🔥
❤
🤩🧡
First-time ever hearing design defined as bossy🤔
This guy gets hotter and hotter... oh and the design is nice too
🤣 focus Michael focus 🤣
What did he really do? He should have used stretched ceiling with led strips. It would elevate this space a lot.
Why cameraman is showing us cushions? What is so special there?
You can see wires under the office desk. It is unacceptable.

Do you need to hire a designer for just to put a bed in the bedroom? Where is a closet BTW?
It is an interesting layout and placement of furniture but the colours are just blah and depressing. There is no life to it. It looks more like a showroom than some one's home.
This isn't interior design. It's characterless common furniture that matches in depressing colours....
This light fixture is so so outdated. So outdated.
If you have a designer's mind, you have a potential to be limitless in being creative. 🤎🤎
