Nothing against you but I just bought 3 boxes at HD and hell they are smaller in length than I recall from a few years ago. And I'm not impressed with the robustness of the flame now. They had best last 3-4 hours as promised or I'm gonna be pissed .
I have never been so disappointed in a product before. But DuraFlame has done it….we’re having a cool front in Florida, so I decided to try the fireplace in my new home…….using DuraFlame logs….BIG mistake. DAY 1…I followed easy instructions to a tee….unbelievably first try didn’t take…….tried again…..no luck…..reread instructions, tried again….got frustrated..quit.. The log DID NOT catch fire quickly, just sat there and smothered, smoking while going out. This I my second day AND second log…..still no fire….your product isn’t as simple as you claimed. Wasted my money, time and my mind trying to figure this out….😢😅 cool front gone, thank for listening, Oh I got some log I’ll sell ya cheap 😅😊have a nice holiday
Pure crap burn times are less than an hour stated purchased 3 types all short of times stated and one smelling like burning electrical wire close to the shortened burned time (everynight), after following directions making sure the grate was within required specifications they just don't give you the time stated, yet duraflame will ask in many emails sent to you for photos and then resend the same questions you answered and responded to so just don't buy it a waste of money. 4 or 5 years ago they might have been worth it dating back to most reviews for their product. As with most items preCovid but since then quality for most items have suffered and most companies are ok with sub, sub, sub par items they sell.
I love to use these logs!!
It says not to add wood. What would happen if you did?
Yea I don’t get this either. I always use real wood as well.

How were they?
@@dukeofhoagiesHe apparently exploded in a fit of rage at the sub par performance of his fake log and now we will never know.
How many videos did you leave this same response on?
I'm glad I came here before wasting my time buying them. No wonder she didn't move that potted plant away from the fireplace.

So what product would you suggest instead?
Waste of money.
