- Lakers need a center and could really use one in the Trade market. The Atlanta Hawks are Lakers potential answer for both a star in Trae Young or Dejounte Murray but also Clint Capela. Lakers News of a Clint Capela could be huge for Lakers Nation. Hawks have made Capela available and could make sense for the Lakers.

We would pay capela 22 million just to be a matchup based player. We can’t afford to play him and AD together every game. I’d go for a low cost same production center
Hayes does the same thing at a fraction of the cost.

I will take Capella and Bogdanovic, Bring Dwight Howard on a veteran's minimum and play him limited minutes during the regular season to keep him fit for the playoffs. Dwight, AD and Capella will be good for Timberwolves and Nuggets in the post season. Not sure what we will have to give up for Capella and Bogdanovic

I think Capela won't play well next to AD and LeBron. But we could do a 3 way with Golden State offer a 1st and take back Draymond. Draymond allows LeBron to play the 4 and allows AD to play pseudo 4 position.
Clint offensive rebounding is base on teams no longer team rebounding and teams now run out to the corners for 3s , so if your offensive rebounding then your not back to defend . Rather Lakers target one of the clippers 4 bigs

LeBron and AD are not living up to expectation, not to mention their salary! LeBron plays no defense and AD lacks motivation...No amount of changes will ever overcome that! I agree with you. I can tell you watch a lot of Lakers games. LBJ doesn't always defense. AD takes a lot possessions off defensively. A lot of Lakers fans watch the game with 🕶🕶🕶🕶 on.

Capella is not worth the price, especially at his age! I would rather have Drummond in the short term and somebody like Claxton for the future. Both combined are still less $$ than Capella!

If lakers keep Hayes and get Clint you have a dunker spot option EVEY ROTATION … you just need a coach who can teach them how to be versatile, then you add in c wood and get even more versatile with your back up bigs.
