    Trae Young works perfectly with Bron/AD. AD scores 70% of made field goals when assisted vs 31% when unassisted we need someone who can get him the ball. Also in the playoffs Trae can/will give you 25+ a game with 9 assists and most importantly get to the FT line due to his speed and we need that in our backcourt. Too many times D’lo and Reaves get stuck taking middies or contested threes because they can’t get to the rim.

    First, I respect the drive/hustle you put into making content, and pushing your channel to thrive. I hope you continue to prosper! Keep it up!
    As for the Lakers, any scenario where they both hired JJ Reddick as the next HC, AND traded for Trae Young as a third star, would be the most egregious series of unserious moves I could possibly imagine...

      Well what would YOU do???

    • @dominicjherr
      @dominicjherr 10 днів тому

      @@KevyB. I "WOULD" not trade a kings ransom for Trae Young (since, with his contract, that's what it would take to get him), because he is a one-dimensional player. And, it would decimate the Lakers depth, with no way to adequately acquire quality teammates, since the Lakers would only be able to sign vet min players. I "WOULD" focus on improving around the margins, as best I can. The core of this team, with health and better coaching, is better than most people think, imo.
      I also "WOULD" look to hire a more seasoned head coach, than Reddick. If Reddick is hired, than I'll root for him. Same as I did for Ham...and Vogel, before, him...and Walton, before him...and Byron, before him...etc etc etc. But, putting someone with absolutely ZERO experience coaching into one of the highest profile/hardest coaching positions in the league...not idea, to say the least. Huge gamble.

      I get the concerns and thoughts behind JJ/ Young but you have to keep in mind they are building for AD. Trae would be a move for AD post LeBron and having that second star. He also raises the ceiling now but is more so they can focus on the future with Davis. JJ is the same idea. If they land JJ and he works out than they have their coach for the future. I Definitely have my reservations about both but I'm willing to let things play out before I write it off. If it happens I'll be excited and support but we will Definitely discuss the pros and cons

    Bro i dont think a trade will happen sadly bec its the first day of offseason and theres no build up yet as a trade would happen on draft day. But if something surprising happened then this is it because dlos def opting in:
    Nets: Dlo, 2025 2nd
    Hawks: Reaves, DFS, Gabe, JHS, 3 First Rounders, 2 pick swaps.
    Lakers: Trae
    Hawks fans can blabber about the pick issue in this trade but theyre not rebuilding, theyre retooling. They would be a good team still. A lot of defensive upgrades. But again, we dont know what the hawks are gonna do. Its likely theyll just build around Trae Clingan and Johnson. But that hasnt been confirmed yet.

We have heard for almost 6 years now that he wants to play more off the ball and let others run the system…. 6 years later and nothing has changed. I think Trae would be a great fit now and especially the future with AD. You're spot on with everything. Trae also 2 years ago shot like 56% or something crazy like that on Catch and shoot 3s and image the looks he gets with Bron/Davis?

      @@AsItStandsLakers exactly… there’s a lot more positive wit that addition the more yu look at it. It’ll also help keep lebron of the ball more so he can save it wen we actually need it nd yu don’t have to worry so much about who’s gonna create for the team wen he’s off the floor. I feel that a couple other trade/signings like Levine etc we would still be too dependent on Bron to get it done nd he gettin too old for that over a 82 game season playoffs mid season tournament nd possibly play-in. Trey is like the closest yu can basically get to a true point but still efficient scorer

    The Lakers are looking to add role players, not another star. They want Caruso back.

    • @AsItStandsLakers
      @AsItStandsLakers  10 днів тому +1

      You spoke to them personally? Or are you going off the 1 report that says they might go the depth route? Which also is if they can't land that 3rd star. There are countless reports from many reputable reporters all saying they want a 3rd star. Also the Caruso report says they are interested in Lavine if they can get Caruso in the deal and would be willing to take Lavine if it means Caruso.

      @@AsItStandsLakers Just going off of earlier and more recent reports I’ve seen. All this Trae Young trade talk and stuff about the Hawks wanting to blow it up has no merit whatsoever. It’s all based on what people are assuming that the Hawks are going to do or what people want to see the Hawks do. There are no facts to support that report. Nothing but speculation.

    • @AsItStandsLakers

      He's a super charged DLo. Also you'd really only likely lose Rui/Reaves. DLo is likely included if he opts in and your getting an upgrade version. An upgrade DLO likely gets you past Denver. Rui was a no show when it mattered and is best at the 4 but as long as LeBron is there it makes it tough. Reaves is solid but Trae is an upgrade and you can still round out the roster or give Christie more opportunities and he's better defensively

  • @ps50433

    They don't need a 3rd star, they need more pieces around LeBron and AD. Those are the teams that are winning. 2 stars with strong depth. They'll need someone to pair with AD eventually, but Trae Young is not that guy. Hard pass.

      Way to support your team! And how can you say they're done when it's June and still this season? Unless you're referring to this season in which your correct but your comment doesn't express that. And this isn't some unbiased or realistic take like your name suggests because again it's June lmfao. This is a careless and uniformed opinion because it's June lol.
