So basically what you have to do is unplug your hardrive if you have one that's giving extra storage and install whatever your trying to install ok your internal drive instead I unplugged mine and was able to install perfectly fine I think it's because your Xbox reads you having 2 duplicate copies of whatever your trying to install so it won't let you install it on your hardrive
Love how this pos console has no trouble downloading 200 gigs overnight. But it defaults to my external drive. I try to move it to the internal because it's a next gen game and all of a sudden installation stopped and the console has the audacity to blame it on my "faulty external storage" despite it flawlessly downloading 200 gigs onto it while I was asleep. Why the fuck is it even possible to put next gen games on a storage device they are unplayable from?

my xbox series x had an error code 0x80070570 on a system update. worst case scenario. also, very little solutions for the problem.. only solution that worked so far was a hard reset. thankfully it can take 5-10 minutes of u keep your account on lock and backed up. thank you for the video man!

It started happening to me yesterday when I was downloding Hogwarts legacy but I think it is your internet Connection that give you the problem that says installation stopped because last night I try download it again it was 71% and it is finished today it only says installation Stopped if more than 1 person uses the internet because the download uses more internet and if it is slow down by someone that is using your Internet it splits the Mb to that device also, I hope this answer wil work for everyone that reads this message. Yeah so I was trying to install Modern Warfare (2019), and I got to like 98% one time after it failing before. I turned the Xbox off figuring it was done, later turned it back on and it was nowhere to be found.
There's another way to do it as well I just found out.. leave the disc inside. Cancel the download from the disc and instead, you must download it from the store digitaly. It will be free because you have the game disc inside. It worked for me. Just helping out, GAME ON!!!

Must leave disc inside, cancel the disc download. Then go to the XBOX store to download it digitaly. It will download for free because u have the game disc inside.. it might just be because your disc is old (like mine)

Sorry to say but your Xbox is most likely faulty. If you go through Microsoft they will recommend a service and if it's in WaRRANTY they will replace it.

Great video! So, I am trying to copy a game, Forza Motorsport 7 from an xbox one via external hard drive, and then copy it from that external hard drive to my xbox series x(the new one). After successfully copying it to the external HD I setup to txfr it to the Series x via external HD. It starts to copy to the series x and then says "installation Stopped".. Am I not allowed to do this? I formatted the drive when it was hooked to the xbox 1, and have TB's of space and still keep getting the installation stopped error. If you're offline the game won't download. If the disc doesn't read then the disc needs replacing. That's simple process of elimination. If other discs work and that one doesn't then it's the discs problem. if other discs don't work then your disc drive is the problem. either way you need to replace something. these tips are for online installations buddy
@@TwinCherryStudio Well my game is forced to be offline as the servers shut down in 2017, and it doesn’t get past 44.2% and it keeps stopping the installation. Disc works completely fine and I can run the game

If you factory reset the Xbox and keep games and apps and later on you can choose too keep settings it will work.
