John, first of all, you are a good man. My aunt spent most of her adult life living in a mobile home which she paid for. It was neat, clean, respectable and what she could afford. It's nobody's business to criticize you for servicing mobile homes. Mobile home dwellers deserve to have their HVAC serviced by you just as much as anyone else. Don't let the haters get you upset. They are just talking out of their @sses. How you run your business and who you service is your decision to make, not some snob who has a keyboard and no sense. God bless you.
John there’s always going to be those guys that think they know more and think they are better than other people. Don’t let it get you down, just keep doing what you are doing.
God bless you. I live in New Jersey. My husband came down with early-onset Alzheimer's. He was 21 years older than me. The last seven years he developed cancer. I could no longer carry him up and downstairs where we lived. I needed a user-friendly living space. A place I could see him no matter where he was. A place that I didn't have to lift him up p stairs. That meant moving to a manufactured home. His illnesses financially devastated us. Brand new manufactured home Nothing but trouble with hvac since we moved in. 500 a year to top of coolant. Three different companies. The problem in my opinion is the developers who installed the house and hvac cut corners., Place cheaper units.. most of all their people don't know what they are doing. But.. I'm 71 years old.. I barely survived my husband's illnesses.. I have lupus.. and I still need help. Sometimes things aren't what they appear. I'm not living in a manufactured home because I wanted to. it was the only viable option for me to keep my husband out of a nursing home where they would have had to tie him down every night or lock him in a safe room. He was a Korean war veteran. When he sundown he thought he was a prisoner of war.
Hey john your right it doesn’t matter what or where u live...up up up north I go from million dollar homes to 2 dollar homes I treat everyone the same...
I've been doing mobile homes since 1984. It has made me a very good living. Up until about 15 years ago most residential hvac companies wouldn't touch mobile homes. Great vid John.
It's so good to hear someone who will actually work on Mobile Homes. I'm a Widow. I'm 60 years old. I have done electrical , plumbing, and built a new deck. I'm not shi&%ing you, I called every danged place in town. You know what they all told me? " We don't work on Mobile Homes". I live in Southeastern Kansas. My home is 28' x I think 32'. It has a cement block foundation, and I'm keeping it up as best I can. So...I bought a ceramic box heater, and a Window AC unit when they went on clearance the last two seasons. Well, guess what happened today? My frigging furnace Quit. I needed to hear everything you said here tonight, because you know what? I worked my ass off , and my body fell apart. My Late Husband worked his ass off, and Agent Orange killed him anyway, at the age of 69. I'm sick of life. Every time I get something taken care of, something else dies. I'm just DONE. But Thank You for your kindness, and others who don't judge others. God Bless.
That's the reason I do everything myself also because no one services mobile homes. My HVAC system is a package unit because they don't take up any indoor space, they are quieter, and I can replace them myself. They are also easy to work on as far as replacing components such as capacitors, contactors, and fan motors. The only thing I can't do is recharge the unit but I will learn at some point. I only found 2 local solar installers who do mobile homes even though I wanted a ground mount system and I own the land outright. I had the system installed but it was a bit of a challenge finding someone to do it.
I really respect this man starting from nothing and building a business over time. I did the same, with a ford aerostar mini van I bought for $600. Put a ladder rack on it, and drove it for a few years. I think it makes you more efficient and appreciative of everything starting from the bottom.
Do you have any filters on A-coil evaporator or just on the door. Should their be filter on door and filters on A-coil evaporator. Do you use those A-Coil metal mesh filter part#(917416) for Mortex evaporator. Or use 1 inch cardboard pleated/fiberglass furnace air filters. Merv 2-8 Or, should I use washable/reusable furnace air filters due to water on coil during summer. like metal mesh filter part#(917416), Merv 4 Flanders SM1006 naturalaire hogs hair cut to fit 20 x 30 x 1, or 3M Merv 1 cut to fit 20 x 30 x 1. Thanks.
John I am an A/C guy too. Have you installed the new Colman mobile home variable speed air handler’s. I set the speed to match the tonnage . We’ll the suction is so great it bows the front door in. Any insight would be appreciated .
I live in a single wide trailer and my wife and I make well over a $100,000 a year. Now its not a run down mobile home its vary nice. My wife and I love to travel so it work out better for us.
Thank you John .i grow up in Washington state and lived in mobile homes . The struggle was real growing up and I appreciate you making this video . It’s bad Karma to judge other folks who are less fortunate .
Don't lose your peace, John! No one can take your joy away! The enemy comes to steal kill and destroy! May the Joy of the Lord be your strength!!! Blessing to you and your family!!! Great work as always; God bless!
Man I live and work in Memphis TN area, it’s hot man, people don’t understand if they’re not from the southeast, also don’t listen to the “super techs”, I do industrial HVAC working on huge refrigeration systems, chillers, and custom made equipment and I still watch your videos, you’re killing it and they can’t stand to see it
What filter fits Mortex model # 98-8W7W-0P It's a down flow and uncased A-coil. I just need to know the A-Coil W x H to get filters to fit on the A-Coil.
I appreciate your insight. I also hope the hvac contractor I deal with is forthright & reasonable as you appear to be. My wife and I live in a 30x70 manufactured home we placed on the Washington coast in 2010 as a vacation home. We recently retired, sold our stick built home & moved full time to the beach. Anyway, as a vacation home on the Wa coast there wasn’t much need for AC but now that we’re living here full time I’m looking into a retrofit on our forced air electric furnace. That’s what brought me to this video. By the way, I would consider myself one of the people you referred to in this video. Retired, no debt whatsoever, plenty of savings and not by spending money frivolously, I could care less what other people think and screw keeping up with the Joneses!
I enjoyed watching this entire video/"rant". I'm glad I did. You spoke up and spoke out on behalf of many people, that sir, is commendable. I live in Kentucky, I will say, those whom live in your working area of Louisiana are lucky to have access to hire you for their HVAC repairs or replacement work. It's good to know there's a hard honest working person like you in the world. You do your job correctly, honestly, treat customers with respect and stand up and speak out on behalf of others. Bless you
John. I have a question for you. I live in a mobile home. We have had so much work on our ac recently. We are too poor to keep putting money into it. Our heater won’t heat like it’s supposed to what could be wrong do you think? If we don’t get our heater going our pipes could bust due to this mobile home being over 25+ years old. Please help!
Amen brother. I just came across you on youtube and you simply tell it the way it is! I also live in a mobile home It's cheap and allows me to do more with the family etc..I have no regrets. At least I have a roof over my head and food on the table!!! Keep up the good work!
You have a good point my friend does it have 5 ton ducks and you know what to I lived in a mobile home and I'm sorry I do Refrigeration. Mobil home's but I lived in a Helena mobile home and the guy put the right size unit for the square footage but it it because it didn't have a return air someplace it never made it back to the unit cuz the house is so big basically it would be nice if you just run all day long to hold like 78° when I was like maybe 90 outside Tuscany Pointe District really good point
The taller Mortex coil is required for 14 SEER 3, 3.5 and 4 Ton Heat Pumps and 3.5-4 Ton Condensers. (If you want an ARI matched system) The small beer can aluminum mh ductwork will not flow 1800 cfm up here. All of ours up here in Ky are down flow, with coil on top. Anything above 3 tons almost always has problems with condensate pull off due to the inadequate flow area/higher velocity airflow/lack of coil cleaning at installation and yearly afterward. The reason you need a 5 ton on that 30x80 mh is due to losing so much more capacity with attic ductwork. It doesn’t meet ARI standards, but sometimes you don’t have a choice. I’m the same as you, I make half of my living from mh customers. I’ve also worked on 15,000 sqft houses in the Atlanta area with 30 split hp systems. I treat all of my customers the same and do the best job I can, as if I was putting it in my own place.
I live in a double wide manufactured home and it is a good home, I am getting close to needing a new heating and cooling system though. What in your opinion is the best brand to install. I haven't contacted any installers yet to see what is out there.
First time viewer....sir you are spot on with all your comments! Keep doing what you're doing and God will Bless you. Was looking for a vid on moving my thermostat from its current place on wall to another wall. I live in a newer mobile home in Mississippi.
I live in a manufactured home that I paid cash for even though I could've paid cash for a "fancier" conventional house. Like John said, I'd rather spend my money on other things other than impressing people.
The traps dry out in the winter. I had a bunch of trouble with an airhandler that had a leaking A coil at the start of every summer. It took me 4 years of changing coils before I realized the Condensation drain was plumbed into the sewer. It had a drain trap but during the winter it was sucking in ammonia gas which corrodes the crap out of aluminum and copper. I learned the hard way.
@@johnisraelhvac2019 that was over 18 years ago (probably over 25 years ago). I've replaced at least 15 units that have been damaged from sewage gases since that I didn't install. I've been doing installs since 1988. I'm just simply trying to share my experience..
question i have a customer that just got a new hvac its a mobile home they complained the furnace is load and who installed it says to put a door on it.. sounds like they may have the blower to high i havent seen mobile homes with a door on it
You did great a great job, I also thank you for calling out these ignorant mobile home haters. What you do is good honest work and very respectable. I bought an old house with no proper heating at all ever installed, I don't have a ton of money so I simply bought a diy mini split from senville, installed it myself one weekend and vacuumed the lines myself and have no issues. Was actually so easy to install it was ridiculous, The whole set up was just around $800 installed for 24k btu of cooling and heating. Love the channel keep up the great videos!
Hey John, what it's the size of the drain pan hose connector, where can I get the right size hose? the one that it have does not fit tight and leak in the summer, Thank You!! ( I live in a mobile home the coil it's 4 ton it looks like the one in your video)
Did you have to do a load calculation on the mobile home, I do hvac and we always do it for a stick built or modular home just wondering because I know the ductwork is in the floor joist and it’s not always the best, did you guys also have to change the ductwork since it was originally a 4ton and you guys went to a 5 ton?
I've lived in mobile homes, I've also lived in stick built. People live in what they can afford. Elitists are sad.im glad to see a person / company helping those who aren't in the same " class" ad others. God bless you brother. And he will continue to bless you. I appreciate your videos and your hard wk.
You have explained your situation very well even though you owe none of us ANY explanation, if you do you and provide a service that continues to provide yourself with work that carries you into the future then your doing it right, those that get it there is need no explanation needed and those that don't no explanation will ever do. Btw my personal experience with the magnets so far has not been a good one, after 2 months on the van it broke apart on the left magnetic material on the van
my furnace is a heat only mobile home unit, i want to add a 6" duct booster to the furnace to kick on when the thermostat comes on with the existing blower fan, i bought an relay and a 120to 24v transformer for the job , now my motor on the duct boooster only has two wires and not a plug in like most , how do i connect it all together .
look John. You are the owner of your company and as long as you do your job correctly and keep your customers happy. ignore all the people who criticize who think they know a lot. Have a good day Jhon
I have a mobile home I’m trying to find out where the location of the vent damper is on mobile home for some reason I can’t find that one video. I thought maybe mine is not working properly I have two bedrooms on one side of my house that is not getting good airflow. It was just one now it’s two My Home is only 1200 ft.² I have a 3 ton. It is over 20 years old but I’ve taken good care of. I know I will eventually have to replace but I would like to know if that could be a reason why all of a sudden or maybe my unit is getting ready to go out But can you please point out where it’s at in my unit or in general?
So I got a similar ac system to your video I'm having a problem with it. My coils are freezing up I cleaned the outside condenser coils and inside coils and it continues to freeze. What can be the problem
Hi. Maybe you can answer my question.. Because I can't find ANYTHING. So... We had to replace our HVAC and the one I got installed requires 20x30x1 filters. Anyway, when they put it in, they basically broke the old frame for the much smaller HVAC that used to be in there. The dry wall is all busted, etc.. What the heck is the frame called so I can try and replace it. They didn't replace the bottom part of the unit.. Itd probably be easier if I sent a photo but idk how to do that on youtube. I know I need to pull the drywall down and start fresh but I can't find anywhere to replace the vents or whatever they are called.... I'm sorry if what I'm saying is completely wrong. I literally know NOTHING about HVAC vents or face panels or whatever its called :( ... I'm so lost.
Have you ever dealt with a revolv air handler and heat pump? We are installing a system and are trying to figure out where a Grey wire is wired in system. The other Grey wires are on the heat strip.
My 1996 Clayton 14 x 72 has a 2.5 ton 53.000 btu Intertherm e1eHo15HA. I see NO issue using a 5 ton unit in a MH that's 30 x 80 as it's over twice the size of my single wide.. A job is a job... Rock on!!!!
I wiiiishhhh you were closer to East TN!!! We just bought a single wide mobile home, and our HVAC unit needs SOOOOO much work!! It’s August, and 92 outside and 81 inside!!! You work on whatever makes you money!!!! 👏🏽🙌🏽
I own a 1977 mobile home on a regular city lot I also own….I’m unable to get work done on my ac because the guys in my area have a specific type of customer they will do work for…I don’t fall into that category …but I’d like to point something out to those types of people who have a problem with folks who live in a mobile home…u have a big fancy home likely…and u hold that of value…u enjoy having to go work to earn that $2000 a month or more mortgage payment…that’s cool…I on the other hand, I have no house payment or rent to pay…I paid it off myself as a single mom…I value that fact! I can spend more time with my family…because I don’t have a $2000/month mortgage payment plus the enormous utility bills for the big house…so do not judge people based on their values being different then yours…just because I don’t need a big fancy home doesn’t mean I don’t have the same right to be comfortable in my tiny paid off home…I am learning how to do hvac bs myself so I can enjoy my ac that I paid for…because the guy who installed it wanted me to buy a new unit which I couldn’t pay for totally in cash at that moment, I had just paid for the home to be moved onto a different lot and had to put plumbing and new appliances and windows in it due to bad tenant..I was ripped off by the tenant for 8 years before getting her out…think I’ll get any back rent? 😂…being judged for something that is more then just being able and willing to pay huge mortgage payments…and the fact I’m a single mom so these guys assume I’m expecting something for nothing however, I have always paid in full and cash when having anything done before on any property I was in….I always pay, I own the home out right…I have cash in hand and told the creep to charge me double then! But they won’t waste r22 on my unit..,I can’t even get a new one installed ! That’s how blacklisted I am! This is mind blowing to me! My pops was a contractor my entire life and have never had a problem getting someone to fix my ac or whatever…they all had common respect for the other contractors in town as well as their families…now, these sobs think that treating people like bs and discriminating like they do is never gonna bite them in the a$$ at some point…ur sorely mistaken! Just because the new contractors in town are arrogant pos doesn’t mean I still don’t talk to plenty of pops old clients in the area too.. 😁who absolutely love my pops still…so word of mouth can go along way…
Yup. Friend has a ~1800sqft house with a 5 ton, and on a 118 degree day it truly needs it. Their previous ~1600sqft condo (with a unit above) was a 4 ton.
@@dockshvac9485 The nice thing about the desert climate is you can upsize without worrying about humidity. I live in New England and if you do that here (with a single stage at least) there will be a lot of days where the unit doesn't run long enough to take out enough humidity.
Your right, treat every one the same, big home or trailer .. I just installed a 4 ton unit with the 4 layer coil also , but You have your blower on top of coil , my coil is on top and blower is on bottom, down flow. is your a down flow or up flow. just curious. thx
Hello John, idk if you’re able to respond quick but I’m a mother of 2 boys. Scared to call my landlord of getting in trouble. But our a/c been running, running hot air and it’s godawful in Louisiana. What can I do to fix this situation? we defrost it, been flipping the breaker. Nothings working but I’ve done this before and had no problems now I do this time.
HVAC tech earn respect with quality work. Thanks for sharing. I have 4 ton system in 1800 sq ft 1998 CA home on acreage with $600k market value and $2,500 rent value. You go were money is and build up as you did. Nice work
Looking for some advice. Customer has 2.5 ton ac in her 850 square foot single wide. It won't cool below 77 degrees indoor temp when the outdoor temp is 89. Temp split is only 12 degrees. I ran a load calculation and it claims 2.5 tons is more than enough. Think I should bump her up to 3 tons, or will a properly functioning 2.5 ton suffice? Thank you
What's the rough, round about cost to add a ac/heat system to a mobile home that had only central heat prior and it's 1100sqft on permanent foundation with crawl space
Hell yeah dude. I enjoy your videos. We all have our way to do things. The fact that your still in business should speak volumes. Enjoy the weekend man.
Brother I agree with you totally!!!!Dont judge people because want they have or what there living in. This is the problem in this world. People have no compassion for there fellow man. We all go through tough times and no one is perfect! Just know John I know your a good man and like what your doing! So just keep doing what your doing and if I’m ever in your neck of the woods I would be honored to meet up with you!!!!! Service Tech from South Bend In
It makes sense for that home to have a system that large due to the climate. I have a 3 ton heat pump package unit which works well even in the low teens to single digits and it has no auxiliary heat, it doesn't need it. I usually use my wood stove in the winter months due to less solar production though.
You tell 'em, John! Great video. I'm in San Antonio, TX and need to get a split AC unit replaced on my girlfriend's mobile home. I wish you were here to give me a quote because I like the way you do business!
Wont the trap dry out during the cold months when people are only using their heater and allow gas to escape? Curious about doing this to my system. PS: I use septic system. Texas 👍
Hey John, it is So Great to see you Blowing Up.! We are really impressed and your web page looks Fantastic.! i can’t tell you how excited i am for you. Take care brother and don’t even worry about any of those haters. The real pros out here see how well you are doing! Alright buddy i wish you good luck. God Bless.
Hi John, I need some advice. I live in a mobile home, 30 years old, with a gas furnace and an AC system. I have figured out that my furnace is cold and putting cold air out around it when running the AC. I have been told that I might look for a damper to install at the base of the furnace...are you familiar with what I might need...Thanks man, your the best.
Hey John. I live in 1999 Buccaneers double wide home and the size is 58 X 28 which is 1624 sq ft. My AC condenser unit is 3 ton and its about 24 years old. So Im thinking about replacing a whole heat pump system soon. My question is should I get 3 or 3.5 ton HP system to match my home. Not sure which one is best for it. Maybe I should get 3 ton due to ductwork sizing? Please let me know what would you suggest. Thanks and have a great Christmas!
Also wanted to say there were brand new stick built homes in California that had a lousy developer contractor and they were literally failing and condemned unlivable. Beautiful places but very shotty construction! Developer contractor can’t be reached and those people can’t live in the house or need major repairs! God bless you for treating everyone with respect and the same. Doing great work and upgrading with quality products and quality work!
Hi I really need help with my mobile home central air... I live in deep south Texas and set my ac to 75 it'll hit temperature till about noon then goes up to 79 and wont start dropping back to set temp to 75 till sun goes down 😭😭 please help
John, I live in a doublewide. I am having trouble with my heat. It blows out like it is on the fan. Any suggestions? Air filter clean. Have turned off at breaker box. It is starting to be spring finally here, but was a cool week here. Did have to put the AC on last night, but was really cool this morning. Turned the heat on for awhile but noticed the heat was running just as the fan was on. Wondering if it is the thermostat? Appreciate it. My son lives in Louisiana!!! 💜💛 I live in NC. We just serviced it. Was freezing up on the AC. The furnace is a General Electric. Outside is a 2 ton Medallion Series. Thank you for your you tube videos! My fiancé just got home.. after going over the videos, found out it was a loose wire on the heating coil!! Whoo Hoo!! Have heat now!! Thank you!!!! 😊
Do you have a video on a Coleman air handler. Mobile home by chance...can I purchase a Coleman on ebay or Goodman without a license ? GMom and 2 teens installing solo. Thank you so much
Hey John. New subscriber,, hope your still reading comments. I'm ne to texas in a manufactured home. Our evap coil is rusty and freezing up. The compressor is new. Is model 96 4 or 5 ton? Our house is 2700 square ft and I'm thinking I need to upgrade when I buy the new coil.
John, I have been in the trade and have following you for many years. Not let these keyboard critics bother you. You provide a quality service to your community. You are an asset.
A John I know it's Christmas but my double wide split unit my unit won't heat won't work the blower works but I can't get it to warm up above 67 degrees
Im having a hard time keep my 28x60 mobile home cool inside. Air ducks seem to be fine but its over 100 almost everyday. I have a 4ton furnace and a downforce heating and cooling system that seems to never get lower than 80 degrees during day. Im considering insulating with foam insulation to the bottom of entire mobile home. Would you think this might solve my issue? Mobile only struggles during suns peak hours 12pm-7pm.
First time watching you. It doesn't matter what someone lives in the money is green no matter what. Hard working people are more likely to pay than someone in a fancy house that's is going to criticize everything you do. I am the same way you are every customer gets treated the same. Congrats on making it with your business.
I've been doing mobile homes since 2001. I work for 4 MH sales centers that sold about 300 homes a year, mostly double wide with a few mixed in single wides. I run 4 men in 2 trucks. We connect the 12" crossover duct, the dryer vent, the gfci electrical outlet and wire our own heat pumps ( I hold electrical and hvac licence). Those items are extra charge. I profit over $200,000 a year not to mention service calls and my men do all the work. I make $1500 profit on a 3 ton install + about $ 500 on the extras and it takes about 6 hours total for two men. I'll take MH work any day.
I lived in 3 level city House. Nice backyard etc. Now live in mobile home. LOVE THE MOBILE HOME! I don't have to worry about city ordinances digging lines etc. I have complete control over everything that matters at and do it myself. Renting to own is awesome. Get you a decent single wide or double wide and your set!
I am in a 32x80 double-wide mobile home and just had a 5ton installed.. Alabama summer heat ain't no joke..lol But I think I might have been scammed... it is not pushing air to one end of my house.. I was put in 3 weeks before the end of summer. But I recently went to put a filter in and noticed they taped off the duct pipe above the inside air handler.. And It was always open with the other unit. Can that be the reason why after a new unit I have not flow too half of my house. Then he told me I need a cross flow duct work under my house. Mind you the previous unit was a 4 ton.. So if anything I would think it should blow better.. Thanks to covid closing my job... Paying him hundreds for duct work I didn't need with the previous unit is not an option. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it. I just don't understand them taping that duct closed... Because that is what the filter is there to filter I though. That is the only Duct vent where air should go up through... I could be wrong.. I work in computers not hvac..lol
I just put in a 4 ton in my mobile home. It’s 2300 sq ft. Thanks for sticking up for us. I appreciate it.

Do you use those A-Coil metal mesh filter part#(917416) for Mortex evaporator.
Or use 1 inch cardboard pleated/fiberglass furnace air filters. Merv 2-8
Or, should I use washable/reusable furnace air filters due to water on coil during summer. like metal mesh filter part#(917416), Merv 4 Flanders SM1006 naturalaire hogs hair cut to fit 20 x 30 x 1, or 3M Merv 1 cut to fit 20 x 30 x 1.
Thanks.
Thank you for videos. You are a. HUMBLE MAN. Amen to us people that live in Mobile Homes. Wish there was people like you in North Carolina.
Man I live and work in Memphis TN area, it’s hot man, people don’t understand if they’re not from the southeast, also don’t listen to the “super techs”, I do industrial HVAC working on huge refrigeration systems, chillers, and custom made equipment and I still watch your videos, you’re killing it and they can’t stand to see it
HEY JOHN CAN U DO A VIDEO ON SIZING A MOBILE HOME PACKAGE AIR CONDITIONER
What filter fits Mortex model # 98-8W7W-0P
It's a down flow and uncased A-coil.
Bless you
How many supply are in that trailer with the 5-ton? Is the air noise really loud?
I just found your video and I subscribed because you don’t look down on people that can’t live in a big fancy house. Thank you
my 28x68 mobile home only needs 2.5 ton heat pump, but i ordered my home with the extreme up north insulation package, saves me a ton of money
Does it have 5 tons of ductwork in a trailer? I also didn’t know RUUD was rated for manufactured homes?
(If you want an ARI matched system)
The small beer can aluminum mh ductwork will not flow 1800 cfm up here.
You can get 2.5 ton to work in a single wide. Why wouldn't a 5 ton work in a double wide?
I live in a double wide manufactured home and it is a good home, I am getting close to needing a new heating and cooling system though. What in your opinion is the best brand to install. I haven't contacted any installers yet to see what is out there.
Mine looks like this one except to the right is the hot water heater. What a pain to get to.
I respect you John Israel I'm in Louisiana my self I know the heat I'm impressed you go the extra mile to do things right keep it up
The traps dry out in the winter.
This is Louisiana. We don’t have a winter. We run our air here at least once a day. Been doing this way for years no issues
@@johnisraelhvac2019 that was over 18 years ago (probably over 25 years ago). I've replaced at least 15 units that have been damaged from sewage gases since that I didn't install. I've been doing installs since 1988. I'm just simply trying to share my experience..
question i have a customer that just got a new hvac its a mobile home they complained the furnace is load and who installed it says to put a door on it.. sounds like they may have the blower to high i havent seen mobile homes with a door on it
is it common for a high pressure switch to cost in the area of $7000 to fix/replace?
Well said John
The bigger coil helps with the humidity.

@@knockitofff what?
God bless you ! You’re a man after my own heart! I live in a mobile home.
Well said John I hate people who look there noses down on others
John I'm working on mobile home where the heat strip comes on at the same time as cooling. Thinking it's a wiring issue
Hey John, what it's the size of the drain pan hose connector, where can I get the right size hose? the one that it have does not
fit tight and leak in the summer, Thank You!!
Very well explained buddy!!How did you go about getting financing? Thanks!!
You have explained your situation very well even though you owe none of us ANY explanation, if you do you and provide a service that continues to provide yourself with work that carries you into the future then your doing it right, those that get it there is need no explanation needed and those that don't no explanation will ever do.
Btw my personal experience with the magnets so far has not been a good one, after 2 months on the van it broke apart on the left magnetic material on the van
my furnace is a heat only mobile home unit, i want to add a 6" duct booster to the furnace to kick on when the thermostat comes on with the existing blower fan, i bought an relay and a 120to 24v transformer for the job , now my motor on the duct boooster only has two wires and not a plug in like most , how do i connect it all together .
what have you done with the lack of a cold air return on these ... im in a moble for 4 years now
Hi, my home has a Coleman Presidential II, and it says I can add AC to the furnace. How much does something like that cost?
Have you ever dealt with a revolv air handler and heat pump?
We are installing a system and are trying to figure out where a Grey wire is wired in system. The other Grey wires are on the heat strip.
What was the Static pressure at start up?
We all now the blower was 5ton that we know he told us that.. What was the system static pressure at start up?
Don’t follow. Explain please.
😁who absolutely love my pops still…so word of mouth can go along way…
Every mobile home in Phoenix has a 5 ton in it. Most homes here also have at least 5 tons, most are at 7 tons on 2500sqft
Yup. Friend has a ~1800sqft house with a 5 ton, and on a 118 degree day it truly needs it. Their previous ~1600sqft condo (with a unit above) was a 4 ton.
I live in San Diego and when I work in our desert area which is just west of Yuma I automatically upsize one ton just for the desert heat load.
How do I go about flipping the coil or the blower.. I have a mobile home and it’s a downflow and can’t figure out how to make this air handler work?
What needs to be done to the air handler for downflow?
I live in a mobile home trailer I have the same unit and my home don't get cool what I have to do to keep it cold

It makes sense for that home to have a system that large due to the climate. I have a 3 ton heat pump package unit which works well even in the low teens to single digits and it has no auxiliary heat, it doesn't need it. I usually use my wood stove in the winter months due to less solar production though.
How u hook a unit out side to Mobie home if it does only have the vents n hot water heater
God Bless.
Have you installed the carrier down flow in mobile home?
Hi John, I need some advice. I live in a mobile home, 30 years old, with a gas furnace and an AC system. I have figured out that my furnace is cold and putting cold air out around it when running the AC. I have been told that I might look for a damper to install at the base of the furnace...are you familiar with what I might need...Thanks man, your the best.
Hi John do you have to do anything with the condensate trap in the winter to keep it from drying out and allowing sewer gas into the home?
Hey man I'm having a really hard time looking for a breaker that goes in my ac I can't find it anywhere any advice?
Great update John! I service whoever calls me! If i can help great and if i can’t no sweat. People do not realize how humid it is down south man!
Hi I really need help with my mobile home central air... I live in deep south Texas and set my ac to 75 it'll hit temperature till about noon then goes up to 79 and wont start dropping back to set temp to 75 till sun goes down 😭😭 please help
The drain pan is leaking bro can I replace just the pan? Or I gotta to the whole coil.
whats your method to wire a heat pump with a nordyne/Intertherm
Good deal. Glad you got it fixed
Hello where is the fuse to my Nordyne E3 series electric furnace I am looking at the manual and can not figure it out.
I have a problem with the filters. How do I keep the filters up? They keep failing
How much does it cost to install a central air in a mobile home I just bought one and it does not have anything inside or the outside
Was that 2-compressor unit? I wonder how it will perform during shoulder season if is a 5-ton condenser 🥶
That’s great but where does the filter go?
If you ran load calculation you would know what size the house requires
Amen brother
How many Tons would you recommend for a 28x56 ?
I am proud of you John that you treat every body equally.
I am in a 32x80 double-wide mobile home and just had a 5ton installed..
Alabama summer heat ain't no joke..lol
But I think I might have been scammed... it is not pushing air to one end of my house..
