Hey Curtis I quit using the mortex coils because of there size and they leak. Use a Aspen moblie home coil there not nearly as big. CM model!! Great coils!!
I noticed the same thing in this evaporator installation as your previous mobile home coil video, there is a 4” void between front of coil and base that is allowing air to bypass coil, yes there was foil tape but in both cases the tape lost adhesion and pulled away. need to install some sheet metal to cover void and improve air flow over coil, stop bypass
1st call needs the right coil I'm thinking. Big gap, airflow not going thru the coil + needs needs a bigger coil. Just saying since I see this a lot. 😮
I know nothing about AC but my AC unit went out years ago I know I need a whole new unit. My AC and heat are separate. I have a natural gas heater in the house. What kind of AC unit do I need everything is outside?
Its pitiful how these guys are installing the evaporator without a fabricate pan underneath the coil to direct airflow thru the it instead of 10- 30% of the air going around bypassing it. Looked the both systems were the same way

Crazy how many people oversize MH systems. That’s probably a 14x70 home 980SF. Guaranteed a 2.5T will cool it and dehumidify it better than a 3.5T.

Always check the blower wheel they seem to get pretty dirty on mobile home units. They get so dirty that it won't push enough air and they freeze up.
How would the Customer know the Unit was Freezing Up ? 🤔
They can see it. Quits cooling and they go look.
