This whole episode was way too relatable as a child who has had to watch their parents argue in a language only they know and accidentally seeing said parents trying to get it on.

En ce qui concerne Jacob Anderson, je ne sais pas si à la base il parle français, mais il se débrouille super bien aussi ❤. Et puis je trouve que quand ils parlent français avec leurs accents (en tant que Louis & Lestat), c'est super mignon 😍.

Absolutely! I love that they redid it in a way that it's its own without making it a verbatim copy of the movie. It's reminicent but since it's more close to the books, it's own thing.
Bless Anne and Christopher for making sure that happened and also being respectful of the time period and the folks involved without being too vulgar or racist. It's hits the point home and also gives some comic relief where you least expect it to keep it interesting but fun as well. I'm happy the got a season two and hope they keep up the egood work till the end. I can't wait to see more episodes.

I mean they’ve chosen an older actress for Claudia this time… And she’s playing a 14 year old instead of a 5 year old. Originally Claudia resented Lestat once she mentally matured but hadn’t physically. So she essentially persuaded Louis to enact the murder plan. And Louis chose his daughter over Lestat. So I wonder if they’ll go down that route? I mean she’s 19 in real life. I dunno…. I know the separation of Louis and Lestat is coming, but I’m really hoping for an overall happy ending for the two 🥲

A lot of fans thought this series wasn't going to work. I was one of them. And I was very wrong. By episode 2 I was hooked. The actors have such great chemistry together, the story is fantastic, I'm so glad I gave it a chance. It's great.
I have to admit I'm surprised how much I love this show! They are so adorable as a family especially when they were dancing together and laughing at the movie. It's going to be so sad when the family breaks up.

This actually makes me so sad looking back on it, Lestat's mild anger issues were funny at first, but they really did NOT belong together at all.. I wish they could have stayed a happy family for atleast 1 more episode

Claudia had the frustration of being physically a child while mentally maturing and Lestat never her saw her as anything BUT a child which made her anger and resentment worse. Lestat isn’t used to having to explain himself and kids want to know why.
Can we just talk about what a good dad Louis is? Lestat is always too impatient with her.

honestly, i like the way the series approached differently some aspects of the story, and the way they portrayed the "family" was bittersweet to watch. sweet because they werent just sired to each other as in the book and the movie, but they had some real fun and deep moments. and so much more bitter when things went down, my heart broke into a million pieces honestly
