I mean, the braggadocious Lestat that we have seen has only been the Lestat of recollection through Louis or Armand‘s eyes. this is the first time seeing the real Lestat. for all we know, he is not as braggadocious as he has been portrayed, and has more humble moments than Louis and Armand remember or portray. but who knows!
