- Well ahead of their time, Sepultura were absolute pioneers of heavy grooves and brutal metal. They paved the way for so many great bands and still kicking arse today. I'd love to see a reunion at some point, would be absolutely amazing.

Boss Katana Presets
drive.google.com/drive/folder...
To install them on your katana mkii, the easiest way is to drag the downloaded files to your desktop.
Open up the tone studio with your katana connected and go to the top right corner and click the down arrow. Locate your file and it'll bring it into your library where you can drag them across to the katana :)
Two-Notes Torpedo Captor X Presets (Sounds like my 1936v 2x12 & SM57) The preset I use 99% of the time is called - Marshall 4x12 V30

Sepultura is a national treasure 🇧🇷
As a big early Sepultura fan, this is fantastically on point. So few people that cover these albums.
5:44 the bird is taping his foot the the beat!
Andreas Kisser comes up with some really tasty guitar parts. 🙂
You have the greatest ears in metal
chaos ad. My favorite album from Sepultura
Nailed it! Chaos A.D. is one of my favorite albums ever
Same here! My first band, on our first (and only) gig we played I think 7 songs and three of them were from Chaos AD! (Others were 3 originals and The Trooper)
It’s cool going back and seeing lamb back at his early stages of UA-cam and how far he’s come
Killer tone man!!
According to Andrea's guitar tech, they used Mesa Boogie Triaxis + Mesa power amps to record Chaos A.D.
That's Awesome. I gotta learn more Seps👌💪🙏👍
This album is in my top 5 favorites. Awesome job recreating it.
Me too.
As a brazilian, I am happy :)
gorgeous tone you got there. Well done. Those palm muted chugs are gorgeous. So detailed.
What I love about this album so much is it's 'bare bones' minimalism. Enough gain? Check. Guitars? Check. Drums? Check, mics? Check. NOW LET'S JAM! That's the best kind of music is focus on the songs and not a billion effects/studio tricks etc. It's not about what you use...it's WHAT YOU DO WITH WHAT YOU HAVE that matters more.
That’s what’s it’s all about
As Vinnie Paul said, less is more
You just nailed it once again
Great tones, great birds. Cheers, mate!
LambChopper does it again! Really enjoy your use of the Mesa.
I was waiting for Sepultura on this channel for a REALLY long time! Made my day \m/
Damn it’s so awesome that you have that rig of amps and pedals and guitars to get the perfect sounds of those classic Thrash, Death Metal, etc albums and songs. I would be in Heaven if I had that rig. I’m so jealous I wish I had access to that awesome gear.
Well I’ve never had such a collection until now, I always sold or swapped but as I’ve got older I wish I kept it all🤣
Chaos A. D. was huge for me when I listened to it first time, although I did it quite a bit late, but damn, this album is so delivering
You are the master of replicating guitar tones. Awesome video. I remember when Chaos AD was released as a teenager, this and the Burn my eyes album was a fresh wind in the thrash scene at that time!
WOW! this brought back some memories. I had this alum on cassette tape and I wore it out. Totally nailed the guitar sound!
Really nice review, I like how you dial in that tone.
Love this mate🤘👌
Great job master!!!! Greetings from Brazil
Two minutes ago??? Boy am I in a for treat. Thanks for the post!
Aaaaaaaa, been 15 years without listening to refuse-resist. Thanks
On point as always. Good stuff.
Such an awesome album
Awesome tone there!
exactly perfect ❤❤❤❤
Back in those days I read in a studio report interview that they used an ADA MP-1 Preamp and got some help dialing in tones from Alex Newport (played with Max Cavalera in their side project Nailbomb), who was also using it in his band Fudge Tunnel. When you listen to their album "The complicated futility of ignorance" you can hear the similarity...
I still have the CD I bought around '94. Classic album. Listened to it a million times and it's always good.
Your big burd shielding little burd from the onslaught is super cute. He will get used to crushing riffs soon enough though! 🤘🏻
Nice work 🤟
@LambChopper678. Id like to see you do Schizophrenia and Beneath the Remains.
Great job! Tones are really close, especially the mutes at the end!! Only because I like to play everything accurately, the verse riff of Territory is 5-1-0-0 5-1-0-0 etc. Other than that you nailed every riff and I share your passion for chasing epic album tones! 🤘
Yes man it’s so sick af!
Metal is amazing
hell yeah one of my favorite lps!
Amazing 😊
My favorite Sepultura album! From Brazil...
sounds good man, I did a tutorial for this tone with a Rectifier and also works well, but had to do a lot of EQing to make it work
Chaos AD is my favorite!!!
Try to capture the guitar tone of Beneath The Remains and Roots too, awesome albums 🤟
Hey Lamb! Loved the video, would love to see you do another video trying to get the justice tone with the DSL, maybe with the Mesa EQ?
As usual, your tones are annoyingly good!
Yet what I love most about this vid is the Queensland bare-feet thing.
I was born in Mt. Isa in the 70's. Casually strolling over bindies barefoot was called Tuesday.
Lived in Melbourne for 20+ years, but I'm always a #Queenslander
Awesome
I'm from Brazil!!! Love Sepultura...
Do the next of Roots or Arise!!
Hell yeah!
Love early Sepultura! Would love to see a tone video on Arise or Beneath The Remains albums. Although my personal favorite has to be the Schizophrenia album, love Rest in Pain and Inquisition Symphony.
The little dude was scared and hid under the big lads wing, evil and heavy man 😮
Kreator extreme aggression is a tone worth chasing
Yes!!
Hell yeaaahhhh!!!!
Encore !
I LOVE the Crunch mode on the Mark V 25
Chops… your ears are the jewels of tone mate! Your ability to dial in a tone is almost as close as fuck is to swearing.
Luv watching your channel and keep up the good work mate.
Brasil Te ama mano! Nunca pare por favor!
To me early sepultura albums sound like they did what both celtic frost and obituary would do and roll off the tone with the tone knobs on the guitar
Little known fact, but Sepultura is actually from Brazil! 🇧🇷
LOL
Everyone knows that...
Thanx for Sepultura! Sodom or Kreator next?
Every album after Arise collected dust in my house. 🤘
Same.
Saw Sepultura on tour for Chaos AD in St. Louis. @ The American Theater . Clutch Opened . Seems like Fear Factory may have been there as well . So
glad to have caught Sepultura at their absolute best at least once in my life . I think at their peak they were every bit the musicians that Metallica were , and thus my 2nd favorite band of the 80’s - 90’s era .
I saw that tour in Norfolk, VA. It was Sepultura, Fudge Tunnel, Clutch, and Fear Factory. Brutal.
@@travisspaulding2222 WOW - I don’t remember ever knowing that fudge tunnel was in that tour. Of course there was no internet to speak of , and that was almost 30 years ago now, but I think it must have been another band when I saw them in St. Louis in place of fudge tunnel. Just remembered their name- “ Drown”
Side note I think the FT Album “Hate songs in E minor “ has some of the heaviest guitars ever recorded . “Gut Rot” is my favorite track .
i have no idea what 99% of this stuff you're talking about means but i clicked because cute bird and i'm not regretting it
Thanks so much for these fantastic demos . It is a lot of effort put into it. Would you be able to share if the Mark V 25 gives enough chug and thump when palm muting? Thanks much!
Please recreate Kreator Renewal sounds. Some hardcore fans didn’t really like the direction Kreator went with this album, but for me it’s heavy metal awesomeness, just like Chaos A.D is.
You have to do arise!!!
as i read before it was mesa triaxis preamp core of the sound
Cool vids. Can you do Carcass Swansong? Thanks.
Max and Igor's best. War for territory is STILL HEAVY AS F**KALL
I feel like the extra sauce to Chaos AD is almost like a presence sizzle rather than midrange. Also, some pushed speakers maybe some room sound.
They used ADA MP-1s into JCM 800s Metal Maniacs magazine did a whole recording special on them from a castle in England 🤷🏽♂️
I’ll have to find it 👍🏻
@@LambChopper678 alright
Great content!!!
Can you do Beneath the Remains 🤘
I was a big Sepultura fan but when this álbum was released i was a bit dissapointed. I mutch prefer Arise, Beneath and Schizophrenia. In my oppinion the Chaos Ad album is not bad, but i think it was the beguining of the end of the legendary thrash/ death Sepultura era. Nice vídeo.
Cheers from Portugal 🤘🍺🇵🇹
There last 3 albums were just 🤌
can you plz give a shot at Napalms death ,Fear emptiness despair album guitar tone???
I'm sure you've had this request a few times already, but any chance you do a video on Arise rhythm tone?
BIOTECH IS GODZILLA!
Could i get close to this if i dialed it in on the neural dsp?
Refuse resist was sounding tight but I’m listening thru a phone
I can remember when Chaos AD was released & listening to it thinking, these guy's are going to be as big as Metallica, then Max left the band 😢 🤷♂️
I remember being somewhat disappointed with Chaod AD. Sure the songs were heavy as fuck, but they weren't thrash like Arise. But I was naïve. Then when Roots came out I was over Sepultura, especially after Max left.
Sepultura had the makings of being one of the bands carrying the torch of metal throughout the 90s and into the 2000s along with Pantera.
I think terittory is from g sharp
Refuse!!!…..Resist!!!
Anyone know how to get the schizophrenia album tone
Just awesome, sepultura do brasil porra
Now do Kurt viles pretty Pimping tone. For something completely different
Something about this hits me wrong. No hate, just.. maybe its the overall volume the tones are recorded at.
Too many strings, not sure if it's been mentioned before
Funny tho I was listening to sepultura the other day wondering if you'd done them...
my fave sepultura album. roots is overrated in my humble opinon
Great video man, how about some death metal? deicide, cannibal corpse etc...
M.A. Covenants tone!
