@@srmitch9260 Arise will be the next accessible album and it's really not too much crazier than Chaos AD. Guarantee if you listen to both you'll eventually gravitate towards Arise. And the same thing can happen with Arise and Beneath the Remains. You'll hear more order, cleanliness and structure in those newer albums but there's way more to listen to in the older ones. They're meaner, faster, full of passion. They're not accessible that's all. Like whiskey, cigars, or any other acquired taste.

Sepultra was always super heavy because of the structure and it simplicity. I love how they don t choke their riffs like so many metal bands and favor the open sting to much. I fuckin love sepultura
I didn't know that's why I loved them as a youngster. Now, as a middle aged dad-rock guitarist, I appreciate how they took such simplicity and blasted my face off for decades! Side note....one of my proudest dad moments was when my, then 5 year old, daughter blasted my wife right as she came home from a night class. My wife got upset, but my daughter just laughed and screamed, "we're moshing!" as I was blasting Roots while we moshed with the dogs. My wife had to smile and join us!
