- It's my first visit to Walt Disney World in over 30 years. Back then it was MGM Studios. So I feel like this is a first ever visit for me. It was kind of wild walking into a WDW park and it showed. I liked Hollywood Studios more than I thought I would, and it's all because of rides like Runaway Railway, Slinky Dog Dash, and Tower of Terror. Boy do I miss Tower of Terror.

It's fun to see Dave and Liz as tourists. Not knowing where they are going, having to look at the signs, threatening to bust out a map, and not familiar with the rides. This is awesome.
I agree. It’s like taking friends to the park for the very first time in watching how they react. I found myself yelling at the screen going. “no, no turn left” or “Toy Story Land is over there.”

Glad ya'll had a good time! something else to note about Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios is that many of the buildings are painted differently from their Disneyland counterparts so they would visually fit in better with the differing climate and foliage.
Liz's laugh during tower of terror is absolutely infectious! Had me laughing along with her!
One thing that struck us between Disneyland and Disney World was that all the same rides were smaller in Disney World despite they have lots more room
I agree and it's weird because Disney World has rides where their queues are longer than the actual ride (Pirates for example)
My favorite place to eat at Hollywood Studio is the 50’s Prime Time Cafe for lunch and Brown Derby for dinner. I love the way Toy Story land is with all the toys all over the place.
Great to see you guys are having fun! I feel like so many Disney fans would benefit from visiting different parks around the world more often, to get that feeling you describe of feeling "new"...
The times I've been to Disney World, without fail, every time I lose track of days. I never know what day it is and it's blissful!

My first trip I was very lost and didn’t like it but now I’m a pro at where everything is.. love WDW! I heard once you would have to stay there consistently everyday for over 3 years to experience every park every hotel and restaurant every show and every ride in its entirety

I agree, the best and only acceptable way to enter Galaxys Edge, especially for your first time, is from Critter Country. The way the land unfolds in steps is surreal and down right emotional that first time laying eyes on the falcon.
When I watch Disneyland locals come down Sunset, I always hope they catch the Paradise Pier billboard. You guys missed it (as did Brickey on his first trip).
I also noticed the Paradise Pier billboard, a nice homage/nod to it's West Coast counterpart.
My fav episode to date. You and Liz are like little kids. So much fun. I am envious . BTW my fav ride at the Studios is Rockin' Rollercoaster. Love it. Thanks guys for taking us along with you. Stay safe.

I think that’s the beauty of Disney… you can go to different parks and experience different things. So it’s not all the same experience.

Words cannot express how much I miss the Tower of Terror. I loved the queue I loved the waiting area. The WDW version is lightyears better and built in '94 and the DCA version opened in '04 which blows my mind. I wish they could have done a 1:1 remake of the Florida version but yeah....... anyways gone but not forgotten.

I laughed when you said you didn’t know where to go! I felt the same first time I was there. I know Disneyland like the back of my hand but I was lost at Disney world. Have fun!!! I never in my life would think I’d hear Dave say at a Disney park, “I don’t know where to go!” 🤣🤣 have so much fun!!!

I was surprised to see David ride Rock n Rollercoaster. That is probably the most intense ride in any Disney park, I love rollercoasters and that one is even a little rough for me.

Im enjoying watching you guys to explore DHS. However, when you get lost I want to guide you guys so bad...lol, and tell you history of "what was orignally there" etc. we started going in 1992 when this park was new and had fewer attractions. Enjoy! PS, SciFi Drive-In and 50s PrimeTime Cafe are great themed fun restaurants

Oh how fun!! I love watching you explore this with "Fresh" eyes! We went in 2019, and kept getting lost as everything pretty much looks the same (except for Toy Story and Galaxy's Edge). I have to say I REALLY miss Tower of Terror at D'land too!! But even so, I LOVE the WDW one, where it "travels" from one area to another!! I understand when they made the one at D'Land, they had "improved" the ride system where they "didn't have to" do that (don't remember the details, but that's what I saw from the design team). But I actually think it's fun that way! And for some reason, the ride seems smoother too! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your FL trip! 😀

Absolutely loved this! It’s so fun exploring for the first time or first in a long time. Being a west coaster myself it was so weird needing a map and being lost a majority is the time!

in typical Disney fashion, everything is broken down. HA! But glad you got to Tower of Terror. I love the Guardians retheme, but the original Twilight Zone theming is simply amazing.
The first trip to WDW will be an experience you never forget. I remember when we went for the 1st time I couldn't wait to go back. I started saving money right away.

Welcome back to WDW!! Definitely fun and interesting to see you both just blindly wondering about the park, so cool. Thanks for the great vlog of those fun rides! Although Tower of Terror is a fun ride, I'm kind of glad to see some differentiation of rides between WDW and Disneyland/DCA. But I definitely agree that Disneyland's Galaxy's Edge has a way, way better transition between the lands.

We just returned from a week at WDW , and miss it already!! Disneyland is our home park, too! My son did say,he preferred having Galaxy Edge in Disneyland Park, versus at Hollywood studios! Mickeys Run away railway, will be a great addition to Disneyland! The TOT was only running half capacity, THat is why the line where so long!

Hollywood Studios was fun. Husband and I went for our Honeymoon and stayed at the pop Century Hotel. He loved the skyliner. Hope we get to go back soon

I was on this ride (Runaway Railway) at WDW’s opening day. Even got the limited edition opening day pin. The lines were massive. It stretched all the way down the main road.

The rock and roller coaster in Paris has become the new avengers ride. We just went to it less than three months ago it was amazingly intense.!!!

A funny story when I first moved here about my girlfriend and her sons seeing you in the park and running out of the store with merchandise to get a picture with you

For everyone who moaned about the SkyLiner when it was being built. It's now just the most brilliant way to get around the property. Lets hope they extend it soon. Great day had by all. Funny thing about Pizza Rizzo is the lights on the sign flicker off. When that happens, the letters that are still lit up say It’s Rat Pizza.
Paris also has the twilight zone love me some traditional stuff!!! David you remind me of a kid in a Candy store. One thing I love about WDW is it is very spacious nobody’s getting shins broken by strollers lol and I agree with you David I don’t like the toon town new sign. I hope they have lots of stroller parking there. Lol at the new toon town

Oh I love revisiting WDW with you guys! Last year was our first trip so it’s fun seeing you have similar experiences. Sadly, Hollywood Studios was our least favorite park. When we got there (rope drop) Rise, Tower and RnR was down. We attempted Tower three times, twice it went down and finally rode on the third try, RnR was down the entire day. And on our second day it was up and right as we got to the entrance, it broke down again for the rest of the day 😩 Although! Runaway Railway was my favorite ride at WDW so I’m very excited to see it at Disneyland! 🥰

One of the longest lines I remember waiting in at WDW was single rider Rockin Roller Coaster... It was like 2 hours in single rider...
The queues at WDW are really good.
David, I used to be able to go on all the rides without any issues but after getting a little bit older (42 yrs young) now I get so nauseous on so many rides. The Ferris wheel at DCA is the worst. But I’ve discovered that if I take just one pill of Dramamine, it makes so much difference and I don’t get nauseous at all. You should definitely try it.

In general Disney world lines are superior due to more space. That being said that pizza reminded me how much better Disneyland quick service is not even close haha
I'm definitely gonna ride tower of terror too since I'm a Cali girl too , but sideways too 🤯 😆

Tip for you for when you ride the Skyliner, The Buckets that are "Unwrapped" work much better for filming
I hope they never change TOT, it's a work of art. Was surprised you didn't like the queue of Runaway Railway because the Chinese Theater is so gorgeous. But you kind of breezed through it and I know you don't get excited over classic Hollywood stuff. Also hope they never get rid of Muppet Vision 3D
I also miss ToT at DCA, BUT I love GotG and It is soooooo much fun. I went to Disney World for the first time ever in late 2021 and was disappointed in the lack of drops at ToT, seems like GotG has waaaaay more.
maybe one day we'll get a toy story land like this does that land looked impressive and I am holding out that will get Muppets back at California adventure that was one of my favorite shows to go watch
I took my middle daughter to WDW for the first time in August of 1995, and we went to MGM Studios (what it was called then). We fell in love with it and (later) with the Tower of Terror Hotel. Marvelous!I. I love DL, but Hollywood Studios is somehow my favorite Disney Park.
MuppetVision 3D from the old days, pre-DCA, although I think they closed and then reopened it! Hey, it's great, but if they replace it with something that connects Galaxy's Edge to Star Tours, it'd still be cool! Pigs In Space!
It's just that the last time I was there (September of 2020) I didn't get to spend as much time, so I was mostly in Galaxy's Edge. I've got to take my time the next time I go there... and catch the Runaway Railroad! And actually do things in Toy Story whatever!
Just saw that lobby less than two years ago. The T o' T is the bomb, and so much better than the "newer" one that used to be in DCA. I'd have to do more analysis to judge it against Mission Breakout (meaning, I have to go back!). But yeah, the hallway scene is way cool!
Yeah, my daughters wouldn't let me go on the Skyliner. Sigh.
SKYLINER…..would love to see that come back somehow. Maybe across Harbor Blvd or something

Loving your WDW videos so far. You probably also know the difference between WDW’s galaxy’s edge and Disneyland’s version. WDW’s version has the galactic starcruiser. Disneyland’s version features Mando, Grogu and Boba Fett. And I like how at one point one random WDW guest got to yell out “Fresh baked” to you. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You're so right about Muppetvision and Waldo; I'll go further and say that Disney never really knew what to do with the Muppets after acquiring them.
