Honestly they should've done more with that mechanic instead of having it show up for cutscenes. Like, it could've been used to branch off into different story paths. The choices would actually change things in a major way. But I'm not complaining when what we got was an already narratively complex story with well developed characters we loved throughout the course of a decade's worth of games.
They also say that most of the game takes place in Madagascar when it’s only like 3 chapters

@@dennisreynolds6196 While yes, their phrasing may have been pretty unpolite it's not impossible for them to make an animated movie. Their animators are very talented, but it would be very expensive for Naughty Dog.

My favorite thing about the Uncharted series is that you don't have to play all the games inorder to understand the story. Though I recommend playing them all because I love the story.

Yeah, I played the game just like you. Also, there's a Prologue and Epilogue.
A lot of this stuff was really interesting, the fact about Nate having 60 different animations for picking up a weapon blew my mind, but when you hit fact #73 and #74, you kinda just started rattling off all the aspects of multiplayer, things that anyone who's played Uncharted multiplayer, and even anyone who's played Call of Duty, kinda already knows.
Just sayin'.
Joshua Bass Exactly man. I would have talked about all the multiplayer crap at the beginning. Also I was amazed by the 1200 bones in Nathan's facial animations. Just crazy stuff that makes you think these designers were nuclear scientists or something who just got into game design as a new field of work. Seriously man, who just sits there and thinks "1,200 bones will make it look more realistic, let's try that". Naughty Dog is in my opinion one if the best game companies ever.

Joshua Bass something I’ve noticed across all these 107 fact videos is that a third of the facts shouldn’t be in there. Like, yeah the game came out in x year, there are x number of games in the franchise. I guess those are technically facts, but not ones that should be put in the video. The first 10 of any given video is usually something that would be for people who don’t know anything about the topic.
Now, lets get a smaller scale game about little adventures with Sully and Nate.

In the Epilogue, Cassie can pick up a book called The Nameless City by Faith Erin Hicks (2016). It's a real world graphic novel, and Hicks drew the prequel comic to The Last of Us called TLoU: American Dreams (2013).

At the end of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, I notice that they had only casted FIVE people for voice acting. Such a vast adventure that plays out like an interactive movie, that has five voice actors.
I just completed playing Uncharted 4. I hope you could help send my message to Naughty Dog: "This PS4 game (Uncharted 4) is sooooo beautiful. It has an amazing story... And the environment design is extremely expressive. During the last part when Nathan Drake went after his brother, those cliff hanging and jump scenarios were REALISTICALLY TERRIFYING AS IF I WAS NATHAN... AS IN IT GAVE ME REAL GOOSEBUMPS AND EXPERIENCED VERTIGO. While playing that part I kept on yelling "OH MY GOD!!!" I never experienced this from the other ND game Last of Us (which I also love though because of Ellie's cuteness). Now I'm watching this youtube video I feel kindda sad to learn that Uncharted 4 is the end. I thought the epilogue scene with Cassie Drake was a preview for a future Nathan Drake game. It would be nice to play Uncharted 5 with a story similar to "TAKEN" where maybe Cassie and Elena were abducted and Nathan will have to save them, and to save them Nate will be forced to work for the antagonists by scouring the whole world to find another big secret treasure. May be the story could start with Elena working on a new treasure hunt project and it just so happened that the villains are also working on the same hunt. Elena for example discovered an important piece of the puzzle in finding the treasure, the villains abducted her and unfortunately she was with Cassie so they took Cassie as well.
Easily one of my favorite video games of all time
The greatest game series ever. Heck the greatest movie ever. I look forward to more Lost Legacy type Uncharted games. Uncharted will never be the same without Drake, Elena, and Sully... but it’s still fun to have Sam, Nadine, and Chloe. :) 🙂👍
Uncharted movie was already planned way back in 2009. It started the production in March 2020 but the filming was shut down later that day due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And, we can finally see the Uncharted movie at the theaters after 13 years.
And still came out amazing.
It doesn't take place primarily In Madagascar. It takes place in several locations like you said and very little is in Madagascar.

He probably meant in the main series. Golden Abyss was one of the spin-off games, and wasn't even on the main console series.

6:53 Number 37 is half-wrong. Joe Kraemer (Writer/Director, Christopher McQuarrie's go-to guy) was the composer for the first Jack Reacher, not Henry Jackman. Although, Jackman did score the sequel.
I played uncharted 1,2,3,4,and lost legacy and waiting for the uncharted 6 aswell the best game i have ever playid my life.
