- My wife and I built this chuckbox and uploaded a video to Facebook to show our friends and family the fruits of our labor. To our surprise, the video has been shared all over on Facebook, leading to lots of questions. We made this video in an attempt to answer some of these questions. The original concept of this box is not our own, we saw a video of a similar box on UA-cam which we tried to replicate. The inspiration was built by Lance's Woodshop. His video can be found here: • Camping Chuck Box - Pa...
I would be happy to answer questions about the box in the comments below.
That's a 10 second box ! That's what it needs to set up or tear down , 10 seconds !!!! FANTASTIC !!!! 👍👍
Corey you and your wife have put together a brilliant chuck box.
Great Job Corey. For followed Lance;s methodology for a great result. Thanks, Greg
Great work. Excellent concept for a portable kitchen. Thanks for sharing.
Nice box, great craftsmanship. I too had the same dilemma about the dado on the inside floor. I didn't want to put a dado front to back and have it show, so I stopped the dado where the divider would end and then used a chisel to square it up.
So cool! Love it!!! The wood burning art is really nice too!!!

You have an awesome product. Put your all into it. This can make you very wealthy
Nicely done on your chuck box sir. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed and happy new year.
dale
great bit of kit. The only down side to this type of set up as you mentioned is that chuck boxes can start to get a little heavy but you did seem to manage to move it by yourself without too much difficulty. great job.
Good job.. I'm going to have to make one of these chuck boxes.
Looks awesome, I enjoyed the video!
Marvelous invention.
Very nice! Sharing with my husband to put on the 'honey-do' list :D
Looks great
Wicked mate Looks the part and really practical
Don't be so hard on yourself, great job. I hope mine turns out half that nice.
Nice job, looks good. Gives me a project to work on this summer.

GREAT JOB
Looks good. Not too big or too small. Grab and go cook station. Good job.👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
very nicely done, thank you for the inspiration, really !
Definitely one of the best one built out there and so I was inspired to build one. Please check it out.
Great design.
smart,well done a credit to you !
its so cool we are making some of our own
Very cool!
Nice....I will be building one of these.
My Scout troop had a more basic version that had rope handles long enough for two boys to carry between them with or without staves. I wish I had seen the stand idea though because that would have made the height more convenient.
Nice Chuck box..I'll made one for my carcamper..tq 4 d idea sir..😍🇲🇾
Perfect
Very nice design. Hate to point this out now, but when you changed design on the vertical, you could have trimmed the bottom of that board by the depth of the planned dado. That would have kept the shelf dados lined up properly. Alternatively, a router could be used to make a bottom dado that would not extend to the front.
Nice
You could make 2 boxes for each of the doors & make the base just a tad wider to accomodate the larger footprint of the boxes (an inch or so?). Then the weight of the 2 sides would be less & easier to maneuver, especially, perhaps for a smaller or weaker person.
can see a variation as a portable bar...but we are lushes....
I reeeeeeeeely wish y'all would post a link to blueprints
just wondering what the size from front to back and how tall the actual box is without the legs yours is perfect for what I need and want in a box Thank you so much for posting this video
thats cool
Cory do you have blueprints to the chuck box you made?
Great. where can we buy and how much it costs? thanks
Where can I buy it? Sorry have no time to learn to be a handyman or carpenter
How heavy is it when its loaded up?
So would you happen to know anyone that would build one of those to sale a fellow camper?
companany called drifta produce some units like this but the retail prices are high
W🤩W Awesome work👍 do u mind sharing the box dimensions?
How heavy is it?
You selling these?
Alex kruysman, no, sorry, I’m not.
I would estimate 80 pounds fully loaded.
The box is about 21" tall, 28" wide and about 18" deep.
+Corey Rieman Any chance I could get an instructable made from you?
+Tyrel Hanson I've never made an instructable and I'm not sure I could give adequate instruction. There was some trial and error and I didn't take any notes. Sorry.
