that so funny girl I typed this in cause I currently have Paprika in my hair and I just bought Cajun spice cause I want to mix it and your video is the 1st one that popped up that's what's up💪🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have a question! I want to dye my very dark brown hair a lighter brown in the front but temporarily. is it possible to use the semi permanent dye to do that?
Sorry for the late reply but Janessa is right. A semi permanent probably won’t work because your hair is dark and it’s just a semi permanent. My very first time dying my hair, I tried to use a semi and it didn’t work. You will have to lighten it. If you’re not comfortable with doing it yourself, I would suggest going to a professional ❤️
You’re hair looks good. I agree it looked good starting out ..... However your title does say watch me color my hair. The bit that we did see was somewhat helpful but it would be nice to see the labels of colors used to see you pour it out so if we can’t get the exact amounts we could approximate and if not a time elapsed view of the rest of the sections at least one section slowed and the next sped up. But thanks again.👍🏾
It’s not dumb at all. In this video she didn’t mix it with anything - this only works if your hair has been lightened before. If you apply just the dye to black hair, nothing will happen. If you mix a 30 volume develop with the dye, the developer will lift some of your color and deposit the color in. Medium results. For best results on virgin hair, bleach hair first then apply the adore me dye. You’ll get the exact color on the bottle like that.
This color is sooo pretty on you!! 😍I've been thinking about dying my hair too, I got the color and everything I'm just still on the fence because I would need to lighten with bleach lol
Toridanielleee thank you!! And bleach???!? Omg. What color are you thinking about? But no I’m pretty sure if you did your research on it, you could probably do it safely.
No, the dye is not damaging. Also if you would like to achieve a light brown/ honey blonde kind of color, I would suggest to first bleach your hair. Bleaching causes for an overall lighter color.
terry brown Yes, but this can make your hair very dry. In order to avoid this, make sure to add conditioner to the mixture and add oil to your hair before applying the mix. Tell me how it works!
Dangerous Scalp yeah I plan on doing it once I take out my twists . I wanna do highlights but idk if I should put foil on my hair with the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda or put caps on and use a blow dryer “to activate it”
terry brown you should use foil if you are only doing sections of your hair. If you plan on bleaching all of your hair, then there is no reason to use the foil. Simply twist the hair after applying the mixture, and place a cap/bag over it, and wait 45mins to an hour and 30mins. Also, you don’t have to “activate it” with a blow dryer, the heat from the cap/bag does all the work.
No damage. Plus that was a semi permanent. Tbh, I always dye my hair when it’s dirty 🥴 i May try it on clean hair next time to see if I get better results.
It turned out really good!!! I just bought this brand and was iffy about it but after watching...I'm going to do it!!! 😬
Thank you for watching!! Let me know how it turns out.
love it! this is exactly what I've been looking for

I have a question! I want to dye my very dark brown hair a lighter brown in the front but
temporarily. is it possible to use the semi permanent dye to do that?
Milan that’s exactly what I’m wondering and I’m waiting for an answerrrr
Milan it’s semi permanent so it won’t take the level of the hair up any. Lighter brown would require developer/bleach.
JanessaTheLabel oh okay. Thanks!

I understand. I'll keep that in mind for the next time I dye my hair. Thanks for watching.
My question is, do you use it straight out of the bottle? Do you mix it with anything? Hope that's not a dumb question.

Is it damaging ? I’m 4c and I wanna do it but ion want to damage my hair. My hair is black black black and I wanna go light brown / honey blonde

Dangerous Scalp I don’t want to bleach my hair cuz it’ll damage it . Can I use hydrogen peroxide & baking soda instead ?

I love the color
Thank you!
All my good ideas come while I'm at work lol
This comment just made me feel so much better about myself lol.
Sooo doing it on dirty hair didn’t damage it whatsoever??
No damage. Plus that was a semi permanent. Tbh, I always dye my hair when it’s dirty 🥴 i May try it on clean hair next time to see if I get better results.
It's better to dye on dirty hair.. On clean hair, it can burn your scalp much quicker than dirty hair.. So the buildup can actually help in this case
Gorgeous
Thank you!
ChocoLex I got some for my locs today!
Is it permanent? If not how long does it last ?
Semi permanent hair color depending on which one you want last at least 6 weeks and no it shouldn't be permanent
But you should probably do more research if you are planning on doing this
Yes it’s a semi permanent. And this didn’t last long at all. It lasted a little less than 2 months
LMAO you are very jovial
I try to be lol
Lol hair dye isn’t for y’all
Says who?
And who is yal?
