to reset the furrion type thermostat you need to remove it from the wall and unhook power for few minutes and reconnect
My trailer was a flooded one and my heater didn't work and it was the fan motor and while I was at it I put in a new circuit board and now it works. Power the fan and see if it works. I used my power probe when I tested mine.
You should also replace the SAIL SWITCH and the high limit switch. when either of these fail it will not power the gas circuit at the PC board.
Crazy that this thing has a destruction title. It essentially looks new. You guys are killing it here at the end of the year - this and the 'vette - what deals!
I'd love to hear who they're going to deal with the Destruction title, or if they'll just sell it "as is". And what are the options for owning a camper like this, are you limited where you're allowed to drive it?
@@TheRobman you can't take it on public roads and it can't be insured, not legally anyways.
Basically a hunting or fish house, or mother in law cabin.
@@downtube8fs How about if you got a large property renting it out as a onsite holiday home, or finding a good location to earn max cash.
They salvage R.V.s so fast. For what they cost it's rediculous. I bought a popup that had been totaled. I Repaired it ,and inspected by the state. Back on the road. Good ( better than) new.
Fuse box for the slide, behind the slide. If it blows, you are screwed and have to manually jack it.
This reminds me of a video I saw on Neil Koch's channel where he and his family remodeled an older motorhome for themselves. I feel this was a good way to show potential rv owners (like me) to not overlook an RV which will be at Copart with a damage or salvage title.
It seems the hvac vents are under the floor. I would hazard a guess this trailer sat in water to just below floor level. The tape on the vents was there to keep the smell or water from sloshing out. I wonder if the vents are full of debris or mud or mold. A lot of chipboard is used in the construction of these units. Water causes chipboard to delaminate and swell. The real damage may noy be apparent for years. Maybe the adjusters got this one right
Exactly why I would never consider buying a water damaged RV.....PERIOD!
That is like the worst place for a fuse box , what if the slide don't work to go out 😳
It does have 4 slides which makes for so much more room.
You have done a few campers and won't have bought it if not going to make some ducks.
What a score Niko Brothers. The Camper and the C8 Vette What a way to finish the year. Merry Christmas!!!!!👍🎅🎄🎁
Can't be registered.
Keystone (Thor Industries) makes the Sprinter brand 5th wheel camper.
I really enjoy your your videos. But could you consider doing 1 of 2 things? Either get a camera with stabilization or pan your camera slower and smoother.
That is a great RV. I own a Sprinter Motor Home. Best RV ever owned. No issues with mine. Love it driving down the road usually towing my SUV behind it. Gas mileage is not the best but hey it drives like a dream. Enjoy your channel and can't wait to see what you get next.
Absolutely a great score! 👍 Very nice 5th wheel. Excellent unit for camping or full timers! We've had 7 RV's. The last one was a 45 ft Teton 5th wheel. We had that for 7 years. That was a high-end unit. This one looks like a mid range product but nice nonetheless. You guys should make a nice profit on this unit. Well done. Think the heater was defective before the hurricane. Should be an easy replacement!
I thought F was for fahrenheit when it comes to temperature,11:44 I'm happy you cleared that up that it's for Fall
Love watching you guys , you inspire a lot of people , and it’s nice to see you use God in your videos. Keep it up , I hope you guys achieve every goal you ever dreamed of.😊
Nice large one there guys
Sprinter was actually the first line Keystone produced in 1996. Don't understand why they gave it a destruction title, but then again I ask that often when I see stuff I fairly good condition have destruct titles and stuff that should go to a shredder have rebuilder titles. Either way it's a nice camper.
So LOVE the style of this camper....
On the drone fly-by 16:39 of the drivers side roof, looks like some damage. If that roof material is torn and all that rain got in there it will mold for sure. We had a sky light leak and the water snuck its way in the roof area. Left it set for a few months during a deployment and came back to some mold growing from the roof down, further inspection led us to soft spots by the skylight. We had to replace some plywood up there and the TPO roof stuff.
If it has some holes up there get them taped up quick! But you will need to fix it at some point.
But yes, good score on the camper… bad roof or not.
I saw the roof drip at 11:47
Hi Michael,
videos are great, but camera movement is far too quick. Please do not pan somewhere, then back, and back again. Just 1 slow pan. Our eyes need time to focus on something. Camera on tripod is better.
You done good on the rv and the car vet
Enjoyed the tour of the camper it was great
that sprinter sure looks class guy's. Good luck selling it you shouldn't have any problems.
Really nice bit of kit!
I'd live in that. It's nicer than my Townhouse! They are rare here in Australia because the highways are not as wide as the U.S. plus there aren't many camp-sites that could handle that apartment on wheels, it gorgeous and should more than pay for itself. Great buy.
Beautiful 5th Wheel. Thanks
That shouldn't have a title of destruction since everything works like new? But what a steal tho, it seems that the previous owner knew everything still worked, it would seem like it was damaged on purpose for insurance to me.
Did well on that one. Shouldn’t be hard to register in South Carolina. I dont even live in SC and got a permanent plate for my trailer with no title
Take the pins out of the henge to open the unlocked door if it doesn't have a hole
Nice one for sure Micheal the only thing missing was your mcconihay impression that you do alright alright
No deal is a bad deal as long as you come out on the + side! Merry CHRISTmas everyone!
thats a really nice interior on that trailer
Very nice. Does it have a salvage or a destruction title?
Good Deal,if you can obtain a rebuilt Title..if not its just good for Export where you can obtain a Title..i heard even in.many european Countrys you cannot get a Title..for ..C.O.D.Vehicles from the USA anymore..there was bad publicity in the news about it.🤔🇺🇸🇪🇺
How about if you got a large property renting it out as a onsite holiday home, or finding a good location to plant it and earn max cash.
wow thats a great looking 5th wheel guys, Have a great Christmas Guys and your families also !!
I had a idea but I don't know if it could be done?..... If it can't be towed again could the frame be taken off and put it on a Truck chassis and made into a Motorhome?
It’s been done before
Thanks guys for the 5th wheel RV update. Wonderful purchase. Unfortunate that I am in Puerto Rico to acquire it. I have a Jayco but I want to change it for a more modern one. Success in the sale.🎄🎅
I think you got a good buy with this camper, better than some of those burnt ones you have bought. I am puzzled as to why all that trim was removed? Was it not fixed very well? There was very little damp inside so that wasn't the problem. As for the heater maybe just replace it. I think it is difficult to advise someone on buying a camper as they are all different in terms of damage. Nice easy turn around with this one. Thanks Brothers. 👍👍
The trim wasn’t removed. It just bad workmanship at the factory. I buy new campers and buy the time they make it from the factory in Indiana to me in Arkansas tons of the trims are laying on the floor. Pretty bad. It’s only been an issue since covid started. The factories can’t keep workers so they’re always hiring new employees so they don’t get time for training and stuff like that happens.
@@thepaddonman Yes that would explain it, thanks Sir.
Great job and video! Now I need to figure out the process to be able to buy at copart auctions but I know it’s a lot of work and time to find the right vehicle or Rv and also get it for a fair price. But it’s definitely worth the adventure.
I have had 5 rv trailers and I found the furnaces need a battery ,12 volt ignition. But is probably diverent on this one.
Looks good..looks good..looks good..looks good..Jesus
Awesome the camper looks beautiful.I think it was a great buy. Wish I had one that nice. You guys rock. You really get some good deals. The time a nd hard work that you do pays off. Stay safe a nd be well take care. Bob Bitchin!!
Uninstall master bedroom door handle unlock then reinstall…Nice find
Great video, but I'm a little confused. Was there water damage anywhere? It doesn't look like any water got into any part of it. Did I miss something?
Rv trailers to barsha south tour and travels to Lanarafat's house pa mejia's house in Emaar
Looks great. Be interesting to see what the price will be.
Maybe fuse on board blows s witch with and also fuse on board
This Salt Damaged Vehicle is in Better Shape than the Brand New Crap leaving the Factories!
Very nice camper like the video merry Christmas and Happy New year to both of you keep up the good work stay safe Phil&Peg uk
Happy Holidays to you guys and your family!!!
Very nice
How did you fix the roof
F-Fault or F-Fahrenheit? Did you actually change the system to heat mode? 👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🤘🏻
I’m really wanting to know how you get the destruction of title converted to Salvage or Rebuilt
You can't.
Well I could live in that thing
Till the mold grows and electric components start catching fire.
love the camper, love the Corvette a great match
Greate buy guys keep on killin it boys you guys are great and a great example ppl learn so much just by watching the videos you guys make with your heart sweat and tear. By the way love the property and the solid work everybody puts in happy holidays God bless you guys and of course your family's and firends
Is the axle bent or need an alignment? See 6:27.
Good eye
Nice one for sure👍
Will y'all be keeping this one or flipping it looks pretty good will be putting a new onni it or fix the one
What you need a new house for Michael? With this monster 5th wheel trailer you have a living pad right @ work....
2021 is the heater under warranty?
You are crazy for going inside with 1 leg
Confused it can't be titled or insured. A backyard play house?
So does it have a title? You have to register it with the county/state you are in and get a tag.
It has a Certificate of Destruction
Great buy y’all !!!! 🎉
Do the ac units work and are you replacing the awning
You got a awesome buy there
Now that your in freezing weather I hope you emptied the grey and black water tanks or your going to have problems ask me how I know!
Why don't you get up on that roof and check that damage, can only imagine how much water damage is on the roof and sidewalls
Wonder why the insurance did not repair
During mass damage events like hurricane, tornado, etc insurance companies are quick to total things out, write a check, and move on. I see it a lot.
Great episode, would’ve liked to see the leg fixed though.
Hope you enjoy the rv
please hold the camera steady and pan very slowly. I can't watch more than a few minutes because I get seasick!
Nice camper
It has a destruction title. Can never be registered.
this is very nice
Sweet
very nice rv
Cleaned up nice, money maker
Cool!
Good buy to me
Nice
What about the awning? You never figured out if it worked
I hope that the history on this unit is FULLY disclosed. RV’s nowadays have enough problems without adding salt water flood damage to the list. There will more than likely be hidden issues that you aren’t able to address, so the end user will be stuck with a nightmare. Every potential buyer of any RV, boat, car truck, etc. needs to be very careful and do their homework when buying used regardless of the type of title. For me, I wouldn’t take the chance
So how much do you want for it???
The damage did not seem to warrant its fate.
The roof had damage
The next time you are in Orlando please reach out to me so we can meet and I can pick your brain about Copart I’ll buy lunch or something
What is a certificate of destruction on a camper?
A Certificate of Destruction means that the car is set to be destroyed by a dismantler or junkyard and cannot legally be driven on the road again. Sometimes vehicles that carry a Certificate of Destruction still appear to be in good working condition.Jan 18, 2021
Also one more thing the gas heater is very dangerous to work on if you don’t know what your doing especially when you might sell it get a professional engineer to service it!!!!!!!!!
No engineer needed to repair an RV furnace. If anything they would just screw it up. RV furnaces have the most safety checks on them than any other appliance
👍 Nice
So where is the water damage??
How much
Some pore family is fixing to get a big one in the.... no way I would get a salt water flooded anything.
Niiiiice catch make money
Are you interested in selling the camper or was it sold already?
Roof looks damaged?
Wassup
What’s the asking price?
Are you putting this on Ebay as well? No link on it for sale?
It cant be registered
