Salt water inundation is the kiss of death in a humid environment. All the metal parts, frames, axles, springs, fasteners, wiring will be flaking away inside a year. A quick flip to an unsuspecting buyer would be really unethical.
With all the in-depth projects you guys get into. It surprises me you shy away from doing a roof on an rv. It is time consuming. But fairly simple. Keep up the good work.
It’s just not visible in the pictures so it’s going to probably go for a lot but extra work
Love watching your videos, been contemplating buying at one of these auctions in the near future. I appreciate all the info.
There's gonna be somebody SERIOUSLY UPSET when they show up and think they are gonna drive that rig home!! They went in the hole BIG TIME!!
I already like the video one minute in and you show the price finally someone who shows the price love it
Bed over the front seats in a class A, normally is a loft bed. Nice work! Love the video.
It’s a good eye opener as to the variety of water damaged vehicles, it never really crossed my mind much until I watched these videos. Thanks for the info!
You guys know what you want. then go for it. and good luck
Salvage auctions B4 the internet were the domain of those professionals who had shops and salvage licenses. Prices were reasonable. Beginning about 2005 they started opening up to non licensed buyers who often buy remotely only looking at photos. Prices have skyrocketed, I time and time again see people pay more that a good undamaged clean title would go for.
Pros don't get auction fever, they research what a unit is worth, have a pro inspect it, calculate the repair costs including labor, transport, auction, storage, inspection, sales, title work fees and costs research the value of the repaired vehicle with a branded title, then decide what their bid is and stick to it.
That Jayco was the one!! That roof is something you could've done. The awning and the other heat damaged parts can be replaced.
Hey guys I live in Florida not far from some of the worst flood areas some trailers were almost to the roof I would buy only fresh water damage trailers the saltwater ones are gonna give you nothing but trouble think about it slide out and all electronics are going to rust stick with the aluminum frame fiberglass trailers I've dealt with flood vehicles before look everywhere there's always going to be unseen damage that later on is going to cost you money to fix Some trailers are going to have mildew in the walls that you're never going to get out we'll get people sick and you might get in trouble for selling them Definitely buyer beware I hope you guys luck
CoPart is such a game.
I would have jumped on the heat damage. That rubber roof is rather easy to replace. Change out vents. Some dicor. AC gasket and have a new trailer.
That heat damaged Jayco would need an entire sidewall. with all that heat on the side/roof, the fiberglass would be baked dry and crackly
Always love the in depth walk arounds
Really informative
Love watching lotta work but that's what ya'll do gitter done .
How do you get through the non-rebuildable title? I know salvage takes a state inspection.
what was the price on the fire damaged one and the one right after with water damage? im interested to know the prices guys
I work for a rv dealer in the body shop the floors in campers are made with compressed sawdust particle board just remember that
The last one had some roof damage in the area near the awning. It looks like the RV was knocked on it's side with that much damage to one side and the crack in the wall.
All hail the 101st airborne 🇱🇷💯
Does insurance cover storm damage really? I didn’t know they total them for mild damage!
I like it when you do the videos together, the two brothers
That crack in the wall goes right through.non no
How much time it take to swap a tyre?
Do you have during and after repairs video?
The Cornerstones do drive and ride nice. Those 2 mirrors alone would be couple thousand atleast.
Look at the inside of the basement doors for the waterlines. Saltwater floods create much more damage than freshwater. All electrical components even wiring that was saltwater inundated needs to be replaced. It's really a job for RV pros.
Subscribed 👍
Thanks for giving us the inside look of copart and good info on flooded vehicles, way to much risk for me.
What page to go to see about a 5ft wheel camper
Looks like a outdoor grill was to close and the heat melted the fender and the vent.
Do the schoolbus camper conversion. Those are better than those cheapo fiberglass RVs
These guys ain't scared of no challenge 👀
I agree with duramax18, a roof is absolutely nothing compare to other rv you guys rebuilt. the question is: what hapened to that roof? internal fire? or the arizona sun???
The Jayco could have been parked next to a house that caught fire.
Hi Guys. Great video and the quality amazing. Buying any RV or boat at auction sales in Florida are big trouble.
I have been told RVs clean ones just not selling and will Tank in 2023 market has had its day. What do you think?
Even to you Guys who know what to do to fix problems I found it always costs a lot more in $$$s.
Cost to much to camp, and this isn't camping when you have to buy a home.
Y'all need to get a toy hauler camper
Did you find previous owners inside RV?
Someone in Florida may need it to live in.
Plus, the trailers are made from plywood. (not marine plywood even)
In Aus., they call them a Junk-O
wow
Luka Doncic genes is surely strong here...
A brand new one isn't worth the money. Can't imagine the problems that would pop up with a flooded one
Saltwater flooded rv's to arab barsha south drive tour
Jayco - American flag! Jayco is an Australian company and they do manufacture in the US.
5:26 what's that thing crawling around the roof vent? Cockroach?
I like it when you do these videos at Copart it gives us a good view on what to look for
Byoutifol 👊👊👊👊
Where is this??
We’re is the RV guys
How do you I get in touch with you
Super interresting thanks for sharing............
No camper that’s ever been wet is worth it, period!!!
Love the content as always brothers!
Although it's likely buyers can get caught up in "auction fever" and can pay way too much for a salvage vehicle, there's also the possibility you're competing with someone laundering illegal drug money. The feds might watch the million-dollar Ferrari transactions, but who's going to care about a salvage RV? Plus, the sheer number of salvage vehicles crossing the block each day means it would be impossible to track laundering anyway. We had a dentist in our town who bought and sold exotics for some "friends" in South America, but as far as I know, he was never busted for it.
That Salem is a "destination" unit, not meant for pulling like other travel trailers/5th wheels. Let me see what you end up with lol. And it gets me when people weird out about someone "living" in their RV. Whether it's full time, part time or vacation time, every one of them are "lived in" for Pete's sake. Who spends that much money for something built to "live" in just to look at it and/or bragging rights of ownership? Hilarious.
Was hoping to sang one of the cars and/or RV's since I'm down here doing hurricane work.. but Co-Part will not allow my account to buy any of them..
Hello gays can you help me get a bike here in kenya
Cummins under the bed.
How do I get a license to be able to go bid on RV and cars like this?
What license ? Just bring cash.
There ar reps that will bid for you...for a fee
At least there's no mustang's to buy lol.
GEEEEEE no no power on RV geeee what could be
The government should buy a whole bunch of these and take them to California and let the homeless live on them it's better than nothing
You should buy that repo tow truck that was seen at 0:55
I love in SW Florida where hurricane Ian hit. The car dealer I just recently bought a new work truck from told me that an estimated 200,000 vehicles where totaled from damage from the storm. There’s probably a lot of good buys at these auctions. Some of the vehicles that were totaled from friends and family of mine barely has any damage.

@@gatecrasher1970…didn’t realize I was turning in a report.
QUESTION TO DRIVE THAT RV NEED CDL OR JUST CLASS C. THANKS.
For private use there is no need for a Commercial Driver's License. Bus drivers that convey passengers yes but not private driving.
LoL, the smell. Yep flood water will do that. I drove a cheap used car into a flooded creek, and it was done. The "smell" . It still ran. But the smell killed it. I gave it to a junk yard for nothing to take it off my hands. They probably made some money off of parts and the engine.
Salvage title on something that expensive no way
Good evening Guys, I really enjoy your videos, I don't care what they are. Still better than repeat on t.v Steve from N.B
You should wear a mask 🙈
I would like to have the burnt one but not in Florida or the money to buy it but would be nice as a stay at home camper for guest ....
👏👏👍👍👊👊🏆🏆🙏🙏
I love your videos!!!
Nice.
Im very interested in this type of job/work flipping vehicles and doing the repairs. Not in a creepy way where i want to visit your shop though. LOL. Don't need no internet creeps.
It's a happy day when I see you upload 😁
The roof damage are the best if they don’t have water damage. I would have been all over the burned one.
I think you got the last one👍
Flooded vehicle in Florida, no way it is probably salt water which really causes everything to corrode.
tip get a dead rat and put in the one you need smell big time no one buy you get cheep haha
You guys want a "damaged rv", without damage.
Do these tire kickers ever buy anything?
Y’all want one that needs nothing lol
You need a cd L to Drive one
Not if you own it..Private Rvs do not require a cdl
No sandals
I'm no authority but my 1998 Monaco 36' Windsor Wall Slide that has been parked must be worth 20K if these flood units are bid up to 12K already I think these auctions must be full of scammers or hard ups. They just pressure wash them and put them on a lot? I know you will need to go through the brakes, air suspension, engine, flush the tanks and mine needs all new windows and 6 tires but then you can redesign it on a solid chassis. Incorporate solar on the roof and electrify them more.
A 1998 36 foot camper is not worth 20k in 2 years it will be worth 4 to 5 k
@@horstebreedow8608 It is a Diesel Pusher. Not a camper. I might have to pay someone to tow it away. I talked to a friend he said it is worth a couple thousand so I'm keeping it. Supposedly it has over 20k# of weight in it.
@@timsteinkamp2245 I've got an old 83 24ft with a ford 460 and c6 transmission. It's in need of total coach rebuild, Windows etc. But you know what? I've come to the conclusion I care less about looks and more about function. Windows can be temporarily boarded over and the chassey is like new. Bathroom leaks bad and caring has seen better days but you know why an RV is way better, because they came with decent roofs. This year on black Friday I bought a 4500.00 dollar generator. It's a start but if I were you and you got plenty of space like me and you want to camping( even local camping is better than no camping). I wish it was diesel but that old 460 is sure dependable. Ya mine is worth diddly squat , the general public wouldn't give me crap for it. Even in its rough condition I've used it in the woods. Way better than a flimsy tent. Ya you got something there. 36 ft is plenty.
@@horstebreedow8608 Another thing people don't talk about and may not be true anymore is that a motor home was considered a home and needed a search warrant to enter. Something the rich people appreciated. If you wanted privacy and security you had a motor home. Also if someone is becoming unfriendly where you are parked you just get behind the wheel and drive away. My first MH was a 28' 1972 Champion my father took his family around the USA. I was in charge of maintenance. We had seven family members and Grandma. We dropped her off in Wisconsin. I would consider a late 90's with a slide. Since the slide came out they are all basically the same.
i love how yall keep saying no power no power yall know what the issu is duh BATTERY
Everyone has their own type of vehicles they want to rebuild. If those here on this video, do not like what these two are doing.. Then by all means go start your own channel, and do your own thing.
Your crazy them big big motorhomes hahaha if flooded or wrecked would not touch them they cost a whole lot tire repais tires alone 200 dollors if not more just get ya a small motoehome just as good
Nothing is just as good as a 40ft pusher. Yea they cost a little more but there worth it
WHERE IS HERE?? HERE DOESNT TELL ME ANYTHING!!
No no no ... if you can get one cheap it would be ok for parts but I would NOT trust one of these enough to try to camp in it.
Not looking too good water does a lot of damage
Lol there goes ever finding a good deal 😂🙇🏼♀️ let’s post copart on UA-cam they said .. 🤦🏼♀️ I wonder why it’s so high 😂 copart paying you 👀
