The Ixion level was a water puzzle in Tartarus. It would be located after the Centaur fight and before crossing the Gates of Tisiphone. The player would have to drown Ixion to progress. Ixion voicelines from GoW3 demo files: • All Ixion voice lines ...
The Gaia fight would happen when Gaia appears to disrupt the fight between Zeus and Kratos at the end of the game. In the final game, this happens in a short cutscene. The original encounter was more complex and would include many cut interactions, although it would not be a full fight like the Cronos level. - Ігри

Too bad they cut the Ixion encounter, would have meant more swimming glitch possibilities. >_>

Now this is awesome stuff here. I can see why they cut the gia fight out of the game. But i wish they kept it, mainly only to see some nice shots of Mount Olympus. Can't get enough of looking at the beauty of the mountain and its building structures.
It's really funny as shit that Kratos and Zeus didn't care that Gaia is there and Gaia is trying to get there attention like, "BITCH I AM HERE, NOTICE ME"

This is very, very interesting. It would have been nice to preserve this scene. Gaia helping Kratos against Zeus, but it seems to be noted at the last moment that things between Kratos and Gaia were going to end badly anyway.
It's curious because in the final version, Zeus has the stab that Kratos should have made with the blade of exile during Gaia's cut fight, however, this thrust magically appears during the cinematic in which she appears and interrupts the fight, without even Kratos having managed to stun Zeus.
Something similar happens with Hephaestus' line in Kratos' head in which he tells him "I won't allow you to hurt her", although this dialogue is not heard in the final version.

2 very awesome levels and very complex
It would be amazing if there were others Gods In this third game like:
Hypnos,Demeter,Dionysus,Apollo,Artemis,Eros,Eris,Íris and Hestia with the grandchildrens of Zeus what could have been added to the game like:
Triton,Hecate,Asclepius,Orpheus,Macaria and Melinoe since they are Sons of Apollo,Hestia,Hades and Poseidon
another thing that also Ares,Aphrodite,Hephaestus & Athena they also have Childrens too
It's a shame that these Characters/Gods didn't appear in the game who knows in the future.. I believe there could still be two games of the Greek Mythology to close the saga
and in the current games of Norse Mythology what is now happening in this new saga and mythology there would be a lot to do with more two games a sixth game and the origin game with many story dlcs especially in the Ragnarok that I definitely believe surely there will be more
and a curiosity: we almost had a fight against Echidna the mother of all Demons and Creatures of the Greek mythology a shame it was cut and it would have been a fight on behind the Gaia's back in a forest certainly at the beginning of the game from this third game and we almost had the NPC Ixion as one of the puzzles in the underworld in the game that he would die in one of the traps that we would try to uncover to pass the level that was cut very sad that it didn't happen..
and all these things and Gods with yours Childrens/DemiGods was cut from the final version content and they were not added/placed in the game.. 🤔🥺🤧🙏🙏 like and Bye!

A drums only version occurs right at the end of the game and several cinematics include variations of the motifs.

I was commenting on the fact that the penultimate track on the GOW3 soundtrack release (which is almost entirely unused in-game) seems to *fit* the scene (Zeus/Gaia fight) and it's timing. I'm hypothesizing that Mike Reagan could have written 'In the Face of Fear' to the demo reel shown here.
Another YT comment claimed that the final track "Brothers of Blood" was meant to play over a Kratos v Hercules boss battle.
I have no source but it makes sense.
Brothers of Blood makes no sense for a fight between a father and son.

It’s a good thing they removed the Ixion level. It was a total mismatch with the vibe of the game.
Maybe this is why they cut it. But I think it could work. It fits the theme of Kratos killing people to achieve his goals.

Ia ser muito foda mas ao mesmo tempo entendo porque eles cortaram. E parece que, se fosse assim, não ia ter o Zeus 2 dentro da Gaia e a speedrun seria bem mais fácil :P
Bem no final dessa batalha com a Gaia, parece que o Kratos e o Zeus caem dentro da Gaia, e então o jogo continuaria igual ao final. Essa parte cortada não seria tão longa assim, é só o que aparece neste vídeo.

God of War 3 was a Rushed Game. A lot of Textures Backgrounds look PS2 and some look PS4 level…

Wow, they really cared about creating a polished product. Any lesser studio would've gone with more content at the cost of the game looking uneven in quality.
