Spoiler Warning! Necron player here. This was a test game between us, as we're both fairly new to either faction (it would have been preferable if either of us had been asked if we would like our game to be casted, since we didn't send it in, but oh well). Please have mercy on us, as we know we made quite a lot of mistakes for what might be viewed as a competitive match. The game could have ended much earlier, but I had wanted to test out some Necron Dynasty stuff, so it is prolonged for quite a while.

Just another day in Unification. Good ol' back and forths until faction with even more units and options ultimately powercreeps opposing faction that has less to work with. Options and variety are the beauty of this mod, hence tiny rosters are fated to be krumped by bigger rosters.
Canoptek Spyders are super-duper Tomb Spyder in unification - you still get the regular dudes. Canopteks make Deathmarks out of Necron corpses. IIRC Canoptek is a miixture of 'canopic' and 'tech', so it's the word for all Necron tech that doesn't have a necron dude's head on it.
Pro changes the balance, tech trees and adds units to existing factions. The goal is to have a more competitive approach. Also adds the Legion of Steel iirc as an extra faction. Unification is just extra content galore: new units (including titans), 20 new factions (soon to be 26), new maps, new modes.
@@mwollan Apocalypse also changes the tech trees and adds new units to existing factions (and adds 2 new factions), but goes for the "massive battles" approach. You get better economy and new tech tiers, allowing you to build massive armies, titans and even superweapons.
@@mwollan Pro is almost pure "balance", Ultimate Apocalypse is massive battles with a lot of units, and Unification is (imo) the best of both worlds, but also adds a TON of factions making it a lot more interesting (again imo) than the others, since while it adds a lot, it feels very VERY well balanced, I've rarely felt a faction is "pure bs", some factions require a slower paced start, while others kind of need to win quickly or else they'll get overwhelmed later (in this match specifically the Necrons could have lost at the first aggressions from the Harlequins, but they managed to survive, and once the Harlequins player stopped pressing they got outnumbered, and it was pretty much ggs)

Interesting. I thought it was high level gameplay.
Good use of variety units. I haven't seen Deathmark for a while.
@@Mallador07 I mean there tons of tons of replays anyone can download and watch

Good match. I always struggle against harequins and necrons and this was a great 1v1

great vid as always. whats the difference between Pro and unification?
