Just like RM2, I finally got around to doing a full exhibition for RM3 hi-ougis. This one was much harder to approach considering how full the game is and the fact that it lacks a good amount of original music, but imo it turned out better than I expected considering I basically winged it. Somehow this took more work than the RM2 one, even though you couldn't mute voice in that game without IRShell.

It warms my heart to see so many of the Legendia cast with Hi-Ougi's of their own! Too bad Grune's not there seeing as though she's one of my favorite video game characters. What I would give for a remake of that beautiful game with an updated battle-system and graphics.
It breaks my heart to think that we got a pretty lackluster game in the form of the first Radiant Mythology game. We will never get a game where you can have both Mint and Phylla in the same party.

@@1aundulxaldin never heard of Tales of the Rays? Everyone is there. I know the game is in Japanese, but you have the chance to play with every single Tales of character that were playable on their original games!
Try Tales of the Rays! Though it is in japanese only, every single character is there!!!
Ironic that my favorites in this game are Senel, Chloe, and Veigue. All of them came from games I haven't played yet.
Blows me away that they managed to fit so much into a single game on the PSP.

@mrduck41 I think I mentioned it in my RM2 exhibition but not here. Annie has the arte called "Arts Regen" or "Arts Rain" that fills up about 1/8th of the Overlimit bar of each individual in the party. That also applies to her, so she gains a full OVL bar in about 4 uses of the spell (spellcasters gain a certain amount of Overlimit when successfully casting a spell). Then I would activate Radiant Drive and insta-cast to fill up everyone's OVL. It was the fastest way to record everyone's hi-ougi.
You've outdone yourself again Vercsase! I've watched many hi-ougi exhibitions under your name, and I've gotta say, i wish i could make videos like these. Still, great work making these videos.

pro trick : you can watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

@vyers444 I'm sorry, I added music while doing the video and didn't have a separate mp3 file. If I still have the project file I can probably make an mp3, but I would have to touch it up a bit before it's ready.

Some question though: I know that the weapon you created character is using will change when you equip a new one, however, does that also apply to the "guest" characters? With guests I mean chars like Asbel, Guy, Lloyd etc. I'm not so far into the game, but will their weapons always looks the same, no matter which one you equip? because I always see people online using the same weapons with them...

@lunardragon2607 They aren't really full songs, but they appear in the medley that plays during the credits of the English version of RM1. What's heard in this video is actually just about all there is to them.
I really wish they would remake this game and release it in America. Being able to play as your own custom characters and fight alongside your favorite Tales of heroes would be freaking awesome.

Does it tick anyone off that they added Suzu who wasn't even recruitable in the original, instead of Klarth, probably the best summoner ever?
The same logic could be applied to Lilith, Celsius, Asch, Van, Flynn, and Richter. But the developers probably just didn't want to program all of his summons in a game already pushing UMD space.
(Late i know but.) I don't think they had an idea for what to do with klarth considering he can only attack with summons. Nor which summon spirits to use(in terms of design since in each game the summon spirits are completely different in design...(well all besides Celsius since she actually has a finalized design thanks to Eternia.) . NOR how to add them into the story. So I'd personally find it understandable.

There are two versions of Luke in the original game, Tales of the Abyss. For TOW:RM2, I guess the short-haired Luke appeared because the fans may have wanted him to appear instead of the long-haired version. I don't know about this version though D:
The Long and Short of it: The first RM got Pre-character Development Luke, and the subsequent sequels got Post-character Development Luke. Because I guess that in Japan, when you have long hair and you cut it, it is meant to be symbolic as a sign of you growing up.
I love how Veigue(?) just pulls out SoulCalibur and does Siegfried's Critical Finish attack, lol.

Thing the first: Chester and Senel and Eugene finally got mystic artes. Sad it never happened in the first one. And gets even better (worser)! Harold, Annie, Phillia, Garr, and Shirley become playable with their own mystic artes!
Thing the second: WHO is the random Blue-Haired Girl who fights alongside the Eternia characters?
Edit: Sorry, I just did some quick research. The blue-haired chick is *Celsius.* A spirit (Though Eternia's rendition is "Greater Craymels" who manage elemental spells) that joins Reid's party, though not as a member but as a summon. And she frequently makes appearances in other Tales Games, The Xillia series being a prime example.

Ah no I misunderstood, I think he meant compound techs from unison attacks in Symphonia, in the original GCN port he didn't have any at all. We both messed up apparently haha.

+Phoenix FireBird Both games fall under the same company, so it's really just a cameo of the weapon due to the name reference in Celsius Calibur. Veigue also had the sword when using the hi-ougi in Tales of Rebirth, though it wasn't as directly represented as it is here.

Why is Luke's hair really long but in Tales of the world 2 his hair is really short
So uh the long hair is luke first form,then something happened so he cut his hair to short hair :)
I miss this game I put like 300 hrs in this.
You can still play it though with the ppsspp emulator.
