I can tell by the first few bars.....Tomas is one of your Idols isnt he? Your mannerisms remind me of his. Keep it up dude. you remind me of a younger Tomas Haake. Edit - Nailed it dude!
Tomas has been one of my biggest drumming inspirations since I got into Meshuggah a couple of years ago. So you're totally right. Glad you enjoyed the vid, dude! 🤘
Yeah this is the most underrated channel of all time. It blows me away that you only have 1.7k subs. Im sharing this channel with all of my friends because you need more drummers that are obsessed with meshuggah to see this. Keep it up! 🤘🤘
Thanks, dude! In terms of spring tension, I keep it fairly high, though I gotta note, you can’t really tighten them very hard on these pedals since they’re pretty much the "budget" speed cobras. But still, I’d say I keep them at a medium-high to high setting, which is comfortable for me when playing at faster tempos.
Fantastic playing, curious: do you run your kick triggers as different midi notes to avoid any fast triggering problems or does the drum brain pick up the midi info fast enough? Here the kick is slow, but for faster songs?
Thanks a lot, man! I actually always use the whole track. After recording my drums, I compress the original with them. That way the drums from the track don't interfere with my part as much.
I always have the track loaded into Logic Pro, and I essentially play along to it. And yes, I do hear the drums in real time as I'm playing. Thanks for your comment 🙏🤘

thought the exact same thing. It's the calm demeanor ahah.
Some of the - of not THE - best Meshuggah drum covers on UA-cam! Absolutely amazing, my man!
I appreciate that you enjoyed it! Thanks! 🤘
Can't believe I did not comment on this one :) you rock, also Meshuggah is always the best choice.
The perfect example of talent + hard work, keep it up dude, sounds amazing
Thanks so much, appreciate it! 🤘

This is a very in the pocket cover. Seriously good!
Thanks, man! 🤘
Outstanding. Again.
Thanks, bro! 🤘
Nice cover!!! Can I ask for the tension you use in the double pedal??

I run all kick hits as one midi note, and to be perfectly honest, I've never had any issues with the triggering. Thanks for your comment, man 🙏🤘
I'm sure that with these glasses on, you are extremely knowledgeable in maths 8) Keep up the bestest work, man!
The funny thing is, I've always been really bad at maths in school. But I guess I've found my kind of math in Meshuggah. Glad you enjoyed it, bro! 🤘
Awesome work as usual. Which EZDrummer2 kit are you using on this one? Love that snare pop.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, dude! I use a mix of Metal Machine and Metalheads kits. The snare is 6.5 x 14" Sonor Artist Bronze.
Highlight to discover your channel. Outstanding work and video presentation
Thanks! I appreciate it a lot 🤘
Fuck yeah I love this guy , he’s on some serious shit like Thomas , I respect you from drummer to drummer .🥁

@@FryderykSzolc of course! How can we connect?
Hey man great job as usual! Where do you get guitar stems for your covers from?
Thanks a lot, man! I actually always use the whole track. After recording my drums, I compress the original with them. That way the drums from the track don't interfere with my part as much.
Hey buddy, quick question, your Roland module, you seems to find the exact cymbal stack as Meshuggah right ?
and also how do you listen to the track + listen to your drumkit when playing, you can plug the music into the module ? thanks :)
Hey man, I don't use the stock sounds from the Roland module. I run EZDrummer, which has all the samples I use, on my computer.
I always have the track loaded into Logic Pro, and I essentially play along to it. And yes, I do hear the drums in real time as I'm playing. Thanks for your comment 🙏🤘
