In part two of the Turbo Royal Enfield Interceptor Build, we finish most of the turbo fabrication and move on to the suspension and fuel system, as well as a few visual modifications. We install the Ohlins pre-load fork adjuster kit, as well as a set of Continental GT clip-on bars. We install a temporary boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge, to monitor fuel pressure from the new Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator.
We installed this regulator in hopes of being able to use the stock injectors on low boost, but unfortunately we ran out of injector at about 5psi of boost. We've added as much fuel as we can in the tuning software, which means we'll have to install larger injectors. The tuning and additional fuel system mods will come in part 3, along with the installation of a Snow Performance Water/Methanol injection system, that will allow us to turn up the boost to 12psi.

Wir installieren das Ohlins Pre-Load Fork Adjuster Kit sowie einen Satz Continental GT Clip-On Lenker. Wir installieren ein temporäres Ladedruckmessgerät und ein Kraftstoffdruckmessgerät, um den Kraftstoffdruck des neuen Aeromotive Kraftstoffdruckreglers zu überwachen.
Wir haben diesen Regler in der Hoffnung installiert, die Serien-Injektoren bei niedrigem Ladedruck verwenden zu können, aber leider sind wir bei etwa 5 psi Ladedruck an die Grenze der Injektoren gestoßen. Wir haben so viel Kraftstoff wie möglich in der Abstimmungssoftware hinzugefügt, was bedeutet, dass wir größere Injektoren installieren müssen. Bought an interceptor last year and always had the fascination for custom bikes, so started tinkering with mods here and there but now finally someone showing the world what can be done to this bike. Your a God 🙌 keep up the great work, being self-taught reading and watching videos to be able to work on bikes especially customise to your liking is a dream, maybe one day but keep it up you legend So I can learn more from you hahaha😅

Yeah they were great to work with, customer ordered the clutch from them and it was at my door in 7 days....from the UK! Cheapest price for that clutch by a long shot too. We're turning up the boost in part 3, hope to see you there.

Also, RaceDynamics can be annoying. There was a time when I wanted a replacement harness for my KTM Duke 200 but they wouldn't sell me one, instead they suggested that I should buy a whole new powertronic ecu and wiring 🙄.

Ready to race! Would it be possible to fabricate hard lines for oil feed and return that use banjo bolts?
Pretty careless mistake from Powertronic to not mention about difference between Euro 4 / 5 ECUs before ordering. Then charging for a new harness..
Yeah, I actually have the tools to do it to and can swap to hard lines if the customer prefers it. It's just quite a bit of extra work to set it up that way.
As far as the PT mistake, yeah I thought so too. I tried to avoid throwing in my .02c too much and just convey what happened, and you aren't the first person to mention it rubbed you the wrong way. The most frustrating thing was the time lost waiting for parts to show up. Oh well.

can you try giving 150-250 cc 1cylinder bikes the Doctor Motorcycle Treatment , as here in egypt and lots of middle east countries the most common and affordable is chinese Motorcycles with 1 cylinder from 150cc till 250 cc . your a genius DOC ❤❤
I would if someone commissioned one, otherwise I generally avoid small singles as even if you double the power it's still very underpowered.

Wow wee, so cool. I have an INT650 (euro5) and yes it has that wobble at high speeds in the front. Are you going to plug where you cut the frame behind the seat?
Actually I stopped any head shake when I raised my bike not lowered it.The lower the front the faster/ twitchy the steering.
I don’t see an inter cooler will it be effective without it ?

There is a big bore kit 865 cc from a UK based company S and S performance you should have used them and bump the displacement first and did the turbo later it would have awesome don't get me wrong it's still fabulous 😍😍😍
Smaller bore should be the stronger bore especially as pressure is going up
S&S is an American company. And their 865 kit bumps the C/R up to 11:1 which is much too high for a Forced Induction Air Cooled build. Even 9.5:1 (stock) is already pushing the limits with stock cam timing. And realistically, it would only add 8-10HP, which we can get with an additional 1-1.5psi of boost. If we do end up doing any engine work, it's going to be their camshaft, and we'll retard the timing 3-4* which will get us that extra 10HP, and also have the side benefit of lowering the dynamic c/r....so we can run even more boost!

Using half the volume of stock airbox for the intake and the rest as the manifold Air tank . However I am not financially stable at this time to take on tho I had 3d printed a smaller airbox for a panel filter for this purpose.
@@mydroidid Nice, good luck. I don't like remote mount kits as I don't trust the cheaper scavenge pumps. The only pump's I'd run is either the Exapump ($400, and HUGE) or RB racing ($400 and up). VZ21 is too small IMO but it will still work. Even this GT12 spools really, really fast and if I ever build another one of these I might even go w/GT15.
@@DoctorMotorcycle thank you for mentioning the scavenge pump, a classic 350 oil pump I have kept aside, much smaller , maybe rc motor drive?, fuel being expensive , I'm just looking for steady 4 to 5psi , and mods being illegal here, it must be sleeper

Yeah Interceptor/Conti GT's were Euro 4 up til 2021 if memory serves. Euro 5 is way harder to modify
This bike is a 2022 though, that's my point. Again, we bought the correct piggyback for the correct year bike, they just don't specifically say that USA model interceptors of ALL YEARS are Euro 4
@@DoctorMotorcycle huh I guess it varies depending what country you're in. I'll be interested to see how the engine holds up to boost, does it really need the high octane fuel? From what I remember the compression ratio is fairly low on the RE 650's. Has a nice sound to it at any rate

bro could you explain the 10 plate clutch plates ??? whats differ from the stock
More pressure. Can handle more power and torque without slip.
Having extra clutch plates = more surface area and holding power. The stock clutch is known to start slipping around the 60hp mark, so we went ahead and just spent the money on the best clutch you can buy.

Instead of yss kit. Why don't you do upside fork front end with 17 inch wheels on both, swap the speedometer with another retro but more info on the screen instead of 4 meters, also work onto the brakes abs,caliper upgrades,
Couple Hundred vs. Couple Grand. Customer is already $5k or more into this build in parts alone. I actually really like the suspension setup on it, the brakes are solid as well.

great work, but why to buy a low cost motorbike and then pimp it up to one, which you really want, aand not buy your dream bike in the first place? Most of the people would not be able to do these modifications on their own and for the price of to let it be done, they get two dream bikes!

Why not just buy a fast motorcycle with a better frame, better suspension, better engine, and better everything else? It will work out cheaper. RE are once as they are, they are not meant to go fast, they are plodders and are very good at plodding, I doubt the crank, pistons, bearings etc are rated high enough for the extra HP. Bikes are a compromise, take from here to give there, strength in one area weakens another area,
