Can you please check your customer email about issues with an order? Thanks!!
Seriously you're eating 711 food are you insane ? wow this crap is chemicals in a box not food Alex! 😅😂😅😂
Great job there. Really great finished product
Hearing you talk about the grand national literally was reminiscent of wedding vows dude. I'm surprised you didn't tear up 😂 I love it brother keep it up!
@@DanStMary Ditto. Plus this company is notorious for not treating their workers fairly, or paying them properly. Hopefully Alex will chose his sponsors more wisely in future.
It's an honor for us to be a part of your dream car build/restoration. Now go enjoy the car!
Alex please in one of your car’s paint the engine on the bonnet
You guys rock!
I didn't even recognize Jason without the huge beard at first!
Man Jason is a absolute natural on camera. Very professional and smooth. So comfortable 💪
Great job 👏🏾 guys
This is probably better than when it left the factory. Insane work!
Yes!
It’s truly amazing the lengths to are willing to go to fully restore this car. Most other UA-camrs would be fine with the “10 footer” look for the camera. The extent and investment made to restore this really puts the LEGIT in LSC. Amazing work Alex!
This was such a satisfying restoration. Your love for this car is so apparent. So many UA-camrs buy their “dream car”, barely fix it enough to get it drivable and then immediately sell it. This was so much more. A true journey with someone who genuinely loves the car they are working on and want to keep forever ❤
I always make sure I have no plans for the first couple of hours on my Saturdays so I can watch these videos. Keep up the hard work guys!
Same
Thanks brother!!
Same! I actually base my weekend work around the videos time! Lol
I have always time for LSC video on Saturdays...
Same here from California. During my first cup coffee.
Ok let's hear it! What are some of your childhood dream cars and did you ever get one?
Third gen Camaro, IROC-Z specifically. Never got one but I did get a fourth gen. Next up is a C6 Z06.
Honda s2000😊
86 Monte Carlo
I always wanted a 90s 300zx twin turbo. I haven't got one yet.
I own two of them.
Audi S6 Avant with a manual conversion.
89 Porsche 944 NA with LSD and Sport Suspension.
Going to say it again. This is one of the best car channels on UA-cam. Always fun to watch and always something to learn. Alex and Peter are like peas and carrots. Thanks for all the hard work from the whole team.
Man, that GN looks ten times BETTER than factory new! What an amazing transformation! Now that you own the most beautiful GN in the country, have fun showing her off. Excellent video as always.
These guys are the modern equivalent of old-school craftsmen, eg blacksmiths, glass blowers, etc. The care and pride they put into their work is remarkable.
Being a car janitor isnt that hard...I have been doing so for many decades.
That thing looks mint. Wow. Great job on all the work you’ve done. Chicago auto pros are definitely legit.
Watching all that paint correction work was incredible! I had no idea how much was involved in that process 😮
Holeee crap what a beautiful car. That is also my favorite car j remember seeing this carin car and driver and drooling but I'll never get to drive one never mind own one.
G'day Alex, I'm absolutely shocked at the difference! I would've never expected the Buick GN to look as beautiful, especially the exterior. Holy shitters mate, it looks perfect. It honestly looks like the car was repainted. What an amazing job by Chicago Auto Pros! Cheers from Western Australia 🇦🇺 👍.
The irony is, because of Alex I sent my car for some PPF to the guys at Chicago Auto Pros and while there Alex shows up to shoot his video and my car ends up in the background. 😁
Which one
@@jacobwebb8818 The one going in reverse here ua-cam.com/video/gM0AiLbT7GI/v-deo.html
Cool!!
Koenigsegg Regera would be the one I would want. As a kid it was a Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo
Dodge stealth turbo has got to be one of the best looking cars when It came out!
I love the rt tt one amazing car
Is that cause you watched the show Stealth or cause you watched Viper and the bad guys all drove Stealths?
"Koenigsegg Regera"...
What are you? 8??? 🤣
@@elbigotesdelatienda and what do you like? I appreciate their engineering where they’re doing things no one else is.
Man the GN looks awesome...what a difference in the paint appearance! Those seat covers were highly desirable BTW...they do an excellent job protecting the seats. Kirban's used to sell them many years ago and they are super hard to find now.
Chicago auto pros are amazing, and car supply warehouse is addicting. Great stuff, good prices, fast shipping.
The exterior change is INCREDIBLE!!!
Love the fact that having the car you wanted for so long brings you much joy, that's what it should be about!
Alex, the way you talked about how your dream car doesn't need to be something crazy really hit me. I have a 1987 Chevy R10 that's my forever project/daily right now. My dad bought it new and my grandpa had it for well over a decade. It's been mine since my freshman year of college (7 years ago) and it's been my daily for over a year. I know it's not special, the paint is shit, and it'll never be worth much, but it's really cool to have my fire for it constantly reignited by you. Thank you for the effort you put in your videos. It gives me the drive to continue
It may be worth more than u think! The V or R r designation replaced the C or K for one year only!
Alex, the smile on your face shows how excited you are about this build. What a genuine guy you are and I'm so glad your dreams are coming true. You deserve it! I remember the smell of those cars, like most 80s cars. It's amazing. LSC is absolutely my fav channel and even better when we can wake up on Saturday mornings to car vids.
Very cool car, i remember looking at them brand new on the dealer lot. I did not buy one. Young family with small kids, it was a dream car at the time. Now a bunch of people can re-live that dream again with this video. Thanks.
Incredible work man! This is also a great ad for Chicago Auto Pros. Just look at that facility and knowledge they have.
Words CAN'T actually convey the feeling when I saw this car! The finished result is only abel to be judged and it's judged in 90s tears my friend. I actually wiped tears when you pulled it out. Thank you so much Alex!
The GN came out amazing! I truly wish I could see it in person but it looks great! Everyone involved did such an excellent job with it! Great work guys!
Looks better than brand new now. They did such a great job detailing it
I can’t get over how good that has come out looking! Insane! Great job 👏
The GN looks amazing!!! Alex your attention to detail is amazing, adjusting the body lines really makes a difference!!!! Thank you so much for preserving a piece of automotive history!!!!!
This has been a hell of a build/resto, man. CAP putting the finishing touches on it turned this thing into a museum car 🤤 I’d say this is the perfect car to have a nice set of black leather driving gloves for, and to toss on the steering wheel, to have so you can keep everything minty and perfect and clean, and also just because it’s the type of classic where they aren’t out of place haha
Enjoy the hell out of it man, I’m so happy for you 🙌🏼 as always, stay awesome Alex
Mad respect for such close attention to detail. Congrats on the GN coming together so perfectly!
I love how the car turned out, Alex! This brings me back to my childhood as well. I remember, cruising down Harlem Avenue back in the day, and you would see these cars cruising. From a crawl, they would punch it, and they would just smoke the tires down the street.
WOW!!! IMPRESSIVE!!
My current dream car I bought is...
2004 dodge ram 2500 4x4 w/24v cummins diesel. I always washed a diesel, (only 4k worth 10k as is) Had front end damage and I had the frame fixed got most the body parts and it's coming together SLOWLY BUT SURLY as I can afford the time and money!!
I just finished watching your entire series on the Grand National-it was mesmerizing! I appreciate how you explained the process as you went, as well as the fantastic camera work. Thanks for all your hard work!! Love your channel!
This is why I want to open a detail shop. I just need to find people who want to do great work.
I think this just became my most favorite grand national on earth. Never ever ever get rid of this car. It's a piece of history
46:51 exactly. It's how the car makes you feel. A lot of people think that you need to be in the income bracket to afford a Laborghini to enjoy cars but there are tons of good buys out there that one can enjoy forever.
I was a Knight Rider fan as a kid so the 82 Trans Am was probably my dream car. I never owned one but did eventually get an 02 WS6. If i ever buy a car to restomod it would probably be ... don't laugh guys...a 1995-96 2 door Pontiac Grand Prix. I owned a green one in the late 90s. It was sharp but underpowered. Would love to have a legit street car worthy version of it.
Oh and it was great to see that I'm not the only one who uses the ego blower to dry cars. 🙂
I have to commend you on your passion for the car. The work you have done is really tastefully executed. The paint detail and PPF is just incredible. Big thumbs up 👍🏻🫵🏻👊🏻
Nice job Alex, Jason and crew. The GN looks awesome. You guys rock. Enjoy the weekend!
"Just Yeah" sums this up perfectly. A work of love. Congrats!
I’m glad Vinny from Choppers was able to stop by the shop today and clean the car. I love the GN, it keeps getting better. Great episode!
I used to be a big fan of a 300ZX Twin Turbo - never had one and probably never will if the used car market stays like it is!
I'm big into Z cars myself and yes, yes yes!!! Z32 is my favorite Z car by far!!
2nd is my Datsun 280ZX but I own that already.
the Machine of a Dream😊 Great work, looks amazing..love to get a Grand National
Turned out amazing!😍
Congrats Alex I'm jealous. What an amazing car. I've always loved the GN. You are so fortunate to own this gem. This video was incredibly satisfying. What a transformation.
Hey Alex, I'm so happy for you that you got your dream car. And it cleaned up so well! Enjoy it as it's well deserved. Cheers!
My dream cars are: 1.) To get back the 76 Cougar my stepdad bought for us to fix up to be my first car. Had to sell it to pay rent when times got tough when I was 14. 2.) A 55 Thunderbird in Pearl White. Absolutely gorgeous car, and so fun to drive. A good friend of mine's dad has one and I have wanted one since I was a little kid.
This video made me so emotional. Gn deserves the best. Best production car ever made
Beautiful car and love the mechanical and restoration work you've done to the Regal!! Even the window tint was tastefully done. Not too dark all around but comfortable. Great car!!!
Checking in for my Saturday fix of LSC!
Those 80’s Buicks and Monte Carlos are underrated classics.
looks BETTER than brand new!
Beautiful car! Congratulations you did an amazing job bringing it back to life.
01-02 sunset orange metallic WS6 Trans Am in 6 speed manual. Test drove a new one back in the day.
02 WS6 was the first manual transmission car I owned. I remember being so nervous about stalling it at every light.
Man its awsome to see this car looking all done up. Man when we finish building my dads college car, his 1969 convertible, RS Swapped that was a stolen car and was recovered its gonna be awsome. Ive never seen the car before when my dad used to daily it but that car went through everything, snow, rain hot sunny days to fade the paint away. That car was basically with him for almost his whole life, and many more years to go on with him! This car will get the most secure tech to prevent it from getting stolen again. Back in the 80s the most you could do to prevent your car was a kill switch. My dad went a step further. He installed a removable steering wheel, removable radio, kill switch and alarm system. I can't wait for this car to be finally done.
God it looks so perfect! Sounds great now too! What a gem. Amazing work. Thanks for sharing the ride. Certainly a joy to watch being restored.
Love your passion. Those guys (and you) did an incredible job. If I didn't live so far away, I'd bring my 22' Supra and my 01' Lightning there and get the same thing done. But, at least we get to feel the love vicariously through you. Thanks for sharing, Alex. This was wonderful. (Also, bring back more Peter).
Alex, you are by far and beyond my favorite cartuber, brother. You always seem to evoke the true passion for bad @ss street cars like when I was getting into cars, and I’m 44. I love that this kind of effort and attention to detail is still exciting to some and the opportunities you pulled in are each something I had an affinity for back in the day. Keep going man!
Thanks John! Appreciate the love!
What a transformation! Great job on restoring the GN to its former glory. Beautiful ride! Thanks for sharing the journey!!
congrats on accomplishing a dream...my older brother idolized this car back in the late eighties/90s, he came so close to pulling the trigger on a GNX back in 92. Cherish and enjoy this awesome piece of American technology and speed - and the burly regal. I keep telling him to get a T-Type now since their prob a little more attainable now.
I also own a ‘86 Grand National and live in IL. It’s hard finding a mechanic that’s willing to work on these and has the knowledge to do so. Any suggestions?
Alex us men who work on our cars know exactly how you feel and the excitement is shared. Was smiling with you.
Because this is your dream car and we can all see how much it really is , its the reason why we all follow you. Legit guy fixing legit cars , for legit streets , that’s legit as it gets. Just please dont change your channel in favor of some 200k supercars . Respect Alex!!
When you're done and the finish is cured, go back and apply some 3M 'door edge guard' (clear plastic stick-on that is usually wrapped over the edge of the door) to the valley underneath the door handle. That will guard against scratches. Similarly, use the same product on the bottom edge of the door, so you don't scrape curbs, etc.
Love the GN and your channel Alex! I know Peter isn't part of the channel, but I kinda do miss the collab. What's going on with Peter? Can we get an update?
There was some criminality potentially, Alex has addressed that Peter is gone and won't be coming back and he won't be saying anything else
From a post on Reddit, so this is totally unconfirmed, but take from it what you will:
Peter stole and cloned an old phone of Alex's and gained access to his personal and business Google accounts including the Legit Street Car UA-cam account. With his username and password he could also get into Alex's Gmail, Google photos, text messages, contacts and much more. He was caught red handed logged in as Alex!
Peter was logging in as Alex on UA-cam so he could monitor his UA-cam income, all analytics and this level of access gave him the ability to delete the entire channel.
Alex's shop isn't open to the public and no one outside of employees are allowed. When Alex was out of town Peter had people bring their cars into the shop so they could work on their cars with Peter using all of Alex's tools. This was a huge insurance liability for Alex.
There's a lot more to the story, such as Peter driving Alex's cars on a suspended license but I won’t get into all those details right now.
Ok, well, that answers that
Did I miss something? Where is Peter? I haven't seen him in a while. Love the channel. The Grand National is my Dream car as well. Thanks for sharing the dream.
Perter ya no va a estar más en el canál lastimosamente, no sé por qué pero Alex solo nos dijo eso. :(
Peter is gone. Forget him.
@@diego_r-s4713 I think someone said he switched vin tags
He posted and pinned the explanation he is gone, he doesn't want to get into details.... Life goes on
Thanks, all for replying. It is sad. I really like the dynamics of them working together. The show must go on.
This channel is the only true meaning of car restoration over the entire youtube world
I can truly tell you love that GN. Congrats Alex. I'm hoping it becomes a generation vehicle and forever stays in your family.
What happened to Peter?????????????????????????????????????????????????//
Love this video. Congratulations, Alex, it’s great to see you finally got your dream car.
The GN is drop dead gorgeous Alex, I totally get your love for it. Enjoy her, she's gone to a good home!
Sooo I just watched this one again! Just too fun, and to share in your excitement brought joy to me. So happy for you!
This has been my favorite video series on the entire internet. The GN was always my dream car and I ended up buying a Transam GTA which I loved but the dream of a GN has never left me. Thanks for taking us along on this amazing GN journey.
I understand your joy, Alex, as this is one of my dream cars. Excited and proud for you. Great work.
Congrats on getting the GN sorted, Alex! It looks A-mazing. Enjoy. Great work by Jason and his team. Great editing, Max!
Congrats and that car is BEAUTIFUL!! I drive by one of these parked at a Post Office each day on my way home from work... and I've often thought of stopping to see if he'd sell it. Gorgeous and classic. Happy for you to have one of your dream cars.
Always like the GN. But watched this from the beginning and I do love this. That paint correction is amazing, never seen so much perfection. Probably the best GN around.
I see super and hyper cars every day in South Florida and never flinch. I would follow that beautiful GN for a few extra miles with a grin. Great job!
Alex, What a dream come true! Totally awesome dream car. Looks incredible.
By far the best auto U Tube channel. Matt.
Holy cow that looks amazing! I can't believe it is the same car. So satisfying to watch.
I totally agree!!! Buffing and polishing your own car is extremely satisfying!! I do all of my cars and boat myself and I love it!!!
This is something that puts a smile on my face. Somebody getting the car of their dreams, sorting it out, then enjoying it.
The GN was and still is my dream car too. I truly get the joy you were experiencing. CAP did an amazing job. I hope to see it and you at Woodward!
The Buick is absolutely gorgeous! The guys at Chicago Auto Pros are next level!
I owned two of my dream cars when I was young and single. The one I would like to have again is the 67 camaro, factory 327 HiPo car (mine has a built powerglide but) I really like to have a 4 speed car. While not crazy fast it is a cool, fun to drive car that will attract attension everywhere go. Glad to see you found your dream car at a price you could afford, and get it in the condition it is in now.
Wow! Unreal shine!
When it rolled out I gasped. It’s so perfect! AMAZING!!!!
Congratulations, Alex. Truly inspiring!
Man that thing is BEAUTIFUL. Well done.
Just amazing Alex!!! Congrats!!
thank you so very much for replacing the speakers when you changed out the dash pad. you sir are a saint. car looks beautiful.
I love this vid and project. A pleasure to watch this one come together, well done as usual.
There is nothing better looking than a clean black car. That things is drop dead gorgeous.
My absolute dream car is 69/70 Daytona/Superbird!! When I was 10 years old, I was growing up in Central Florida, near the Daytona International Speedway. At a car show during Speedweek, there was a Toro Red Dodge Daytona. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!! Now this being WAY before the internet, research was done at the LIBRARY of all places! I read as much as I could find about this car, NASCAR, and it kicked off my love for cars! My family and I were around DIS all the time. My dad raced motorcycles there, my mom worked for Channel 6 (out of Orlando) a CBS station, and we were always around cars/motorcycles. I didn't see another Daytona in person until I was almost 30! It was at a tire shop I used to work at. It was Petty Blue and it was a clone but it was still beautiful as ever!!
Wowzers. what a beautiful build. Chicago Auto Pros know what they're doing! incredible results
Amazing job brother! Love your videos, your energy and enthusiasm is inspiring
Absolutely STUNNING.
Good for you Alex, stoked for you!
Absolutely incredible! The GN looks great!
Looks awesome Alex, CONGRATULATIONS 🎉
Darn Alex, that GN looks WAY better than the day it rolled off the factory floor.. No doubt about it.. That thing is a museum piece without a doubt!
