Oh sure, would be simple enough! Like maybe link columns in the market to the AI champions and whenever they activate those cards get discarded. Though as you saw in this playthrough there are already some automa cards that discard the whole market, so they build some cycling in naturally.
There's multiple scheme cards that discard the entire Center Row. For solo and co-op that's more than enough. In 1v1 games I can agree some more card cycling could be nice but isn't a huge problem.
I have the game with the miniatures but tbh I almost always just play with the standees. The art make it easier to identify what everything is and you get a good overview of the board. The minis looks nice but you certainly don't need them. I only bought the kickstarter version because it was the only thing available where I live in stores.
Ascension Tactics is great game and the Ascension app a great adaptation of Ascension. Tactics is however a very different beast compared to Ascension and so I won't be holding my breath for an App adaptation - the Ascension App doesn't yet have the latest two Ascension sets that do have simple gameboards to move around, for example. If you want to play a digital version right now there is a freely available and recently updated mod on TTS.
Round 4, you get a 1 honor for killing a cultist, round 5, the first cultist you commanded should've only been able to move 4 spaces THEN the second one and on could move 5, since you're suppose to play 1 card at a time. Awesome video
maybe I'm playing wrong but I think when they kill your unit on their turn your unit is exhausted, and can't be used on your next turn, so several times you activated an exhausted unit. can anyone confirm? if this isn't the case I've been playing on extreme mode.

Awesome playthrough! Super close game.
One rule that I'll note is that when your champions are defeated, they cannot be commanded the following turn.
I forgot that one! I'll add a note to the video tonight.
Thanks for sharing.
To your review point, it is relatively simple. But, it looks pretty fun, especially to me since I enjoy deck builders.
Then it might be perfect for you! Give it a try :)
Looks amazing. It seems easy to introduce a way to cycle the market, which seems like it can stagnate.

Very entertaining playthrough Mike! I have the miniatures version and it looks awesome but the standees are great too!
I am jealous of your awesomeness ;)

That makes a lot of sense!
Looks pretty cool. I'll wait for the inevitable digital version.
Oh yeah, they do a great job with app adaptations.

How did I miss this? It looks awesome, not too heavy but with still enough tactical play to be interesting.
Agreed!

Awesome video
Ah, perfect corrections. Thanks for watching and for catching those.

I believe you are correct. Someone else commented the same i think. But it’s been a while since I played
Bringer of Despair slayed your Faerie Command, and its slay ability would've killed your cultist, which swings the game against you.
If you have a timestamp for when I forgot to remove the cultist, I'll add a subtitle to that part of the video. Thanks!
