    I feel so bad for little David having to walk home seeing his house on fire and his mom dead at the age of 12. Not only did he lose his mom that he loved so much, he had to witness the terrifying and horrific sad fire and screaming help for a neighbor to help… that breaks my heart! I feel so bad for her, her family, friends and all her loved ones! It breaks my heart! I’m so so happy they finally got an arrest and a little closure and some Justice! Now she can finally Rest In Peace looking down know her killers life is over and will be in jail for ever! Rest in paradise love🖤🖤🖤!

    call me cynical but the wife of the man who killed Joy waited till there was a $50,000 reward before she would come forward to tell on him, knowing that all those years the family was being tortured knowing that that man was living freely and possibly destroying other peoples lives too. And she probably made a plea deal so she wouldnt serve time for being an accessory to a crime. Not cool, I dont care what snyone says, she didnt help anyone but herself. 🧐😤

      As a genealogist I’m so proud of what our profession is doing. I got into genealogy in my early 20’s - while I was in medical school - and I saw how genealogy could be used to help people determine their risk for hereditary diseases like Cancer, diabetes, etc…. I never expected genealogy to help solve murders - but now that it does I’m even more thrilled to be a part of this exciting profession. The pioneers like CC Moore deserve all the credit.

    • @algini12
      @algini12 2 роки тому +6

      @@lostcontrol1981 She or the others genealogists don't get that credit anymore. When giving credit for the case being solved, they just give the officers involved. Even though it's the genealogists who really solved the cases. You hardly ever here Moore's name or the others anymore at all. You can speculate why, but that's the way it is.

    What a psychopath. You sell someone a bag of "sticks and seeds" and then someone had the nerve to say: (probably politely too) "you sold me sticks and seeds? Why? Why did you do this?" If you ever wanted a returning customer? It was just over $20's... You have to be a monster to be like that. It's not because of selling pot, trust me, I know... You can sell pot and not be a monster (can you imagine that?) But this guy, this guy was a utter monster and yet the police worked with him as a undercover informant.. geeze. WTF. This is definitely a terrible case of a sadistic killer who was harboring subsurface urges, that just happened to be the world's worst pot dealer. Yet I bet back then, they ran with the story to prove the direct link between "substance use/transactions and violent/sexual/sadistic inhumane atrocities..." It's so messed up. That amazing lady deserved such a good life for the type of great person she was.. same with her family. They all deserved to never be scarred by that sicko violent criminal.. man, that's just so frustrating seriously.

    I remember Melissa’s case, likely because we were a month apart in age and Lawrence is only about 20 mins from where I lived. I’m pretty sure she was left in a car while her mom was inside the club having some drinks, and I’m not blaming her mother, but I do recall that being a significant factor in the case and my own mother taking extra caution with my siblings and I,no longer allowing us to wait in the car while she ran inside stores.
    I have to say that Joy’s case is impressive, because that small hotel in the Poconos kept records all these years and those records played a huge part. I’m sorry for her husband and children. And as far as Melissa’s case goes, her childhood friend Andrea deserves an award for being so vigilant and continuing to press for the case to be solved. Charlie and Andrea are superheroes

      I have to disagree with Mark. My mother was a helicopter parent even back in the 80’s. I’m 41 currently. She never let me play in the front yard alone or stay in a car or motel etc by myself. She was no dummy. I don’t understand the naivety of some people. It was just as dangerous in the 80’s as it is now, smh. Hell, my mother remembers when the Night Stalker was out on the prowl in our area back then (we’re from Los Angeles). Hearing the story that the mother was inside drinking liquor of all things boils my blood. They didn’t state that in the video. It’s often the blatant negligence of parents that children end up missing or killed💔

      Ummmmm no. Crimes against children have been on a steadily consistent decline since the mid 1960’s. Reagan’s milk carton campaign followed by social media , suddenly made parents aware of the dangers. But, as you implied ahead, the world was significantly safer for children in the 80’s than it is today. And approximately 5/6 crimes against minors is committed by a family member, family friend or neighbors, or by adults in a position of authority. It’s very rare that someone unknown to the family kidnaps a child.

    HEAVY CASEFILES:: Can u please please please do a.video on an unsolved case from my hometown that no one yet has done a video on...Her name is Christine Guenther from Peters Township Pennsylvania. She was a young teenager who one day after school was supposed to take a bus to a Dr appointment but never showed and was found murdered on the side of a road later. Killer never found... But I truly believe she was a victim of the Washington county PA strangler. If u do an internet search for her name ull find articles

    I am always left staggered and dumbfounded at the selfish acts people carry out, on account of uncontrollable urges. Purely selfish gratification with no thought about the ever lasting impact on the lives of many, not just the poor innocent victims. Never any guilt on their part over the years as they never hand themselves in to relieve some pain for the families.

You go girl!! I think that if all these killers knew that they would be able to get away with their crimes only to be caught by genetic data base is a great excitement that we r goin to see hopefully all these cases that had dna left behind !! Sad when the killers are dead and don't have to be punished for their crimes😑even though some closure is better than never knowing!

    i dont understand people who lie for someone when they are afraid of them, usually a spouse, to protect and give them an alibi especially when its a violent crime and sometimes murder. i understand they worry but if they inform the police then the violent spouse is removed from their lives. not only that but if they were afraid before then surely after they find out their partner has murdered someone, often brutally in cold blood they would have even more motive to get away from them.
    imagine sharing your life, your home, your children with a person capable of such horror.
    i could understand protecting a loved one from the police if one still loved and cared for them, but when your partner is a violent murderer capable of horrific crimes who you dont even love anymore, you're just terrified of them id take my chances amd go to the cops.
