Bennedict Mathurin is Ready to TAKE OVER for the Indiana Pacers…
4 games in to the season, and Pacers fans were angry. Benedict Mathurin started off the season on fire leading the Pacers in scoring through 2 games, including being their BEST overall player down the stretch against the Pistons, and Pacers fans were starting to see the signs that these early season flashes were going to finally allow him to explode like many have been expecting and vault into one of the top 3 players on the roster. Instead, Rick Carlisle buried him, and he virtually was benched the next two games. Carlisle then appeared on an Indianapolis radio show following those games, critical of Mathurin’s “defense and rebounding” saying that “scoring isn’t all the game is about”. Things have changed drastically since then however. Through a couple of injuries to Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith, Carlisle virtually had no choice but to slot Mathurin into the starting lineup, and since then, he has been a revelation. Arguably the best offensive player on the team alongside Pascal Siakam since then, and doing his part to keep the team afloat through numerous injuries and immense struggles from Tyrese Haliburton. Is it finally time for him to break out and show Pacers fan’s what they’ve been hoping to see since his rookie year, a player who can consistently be one of, if not the best scorer on the Pacers roster? Let’s get in to Mathurin’s game, the good, the bad, and finally, what the Pacers should actually do to maximize the potential of Mathurin as a player.

In Case You Forgot, LaMelo Ball is Still That Guy…
Переглядів 6493 місяці тому
LaMelo Ball is back. After not playing since January, he comes out and doesn’t just do well, he completely DOMINATED en route to what is probably the best overall performance of any player so far in this young NBA season with 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists, in a Charlotte Hornets victory over a team that a lot of people came in to this season being excited for in the Houston Rockets. Now...
A Jalen Johnson Breakout for The Atlanta Hawks is Inevitable...
Переглядів 2713 місяці тому
Jalen Johnson JUST signed a 5 year, 150 million dollar extension with the Atlanta Hawks, and surprisingly, the national fan reaction has been somewhat mixed, with a number of fans claiming it’s an “overpay” and “they’re just giving anyone 30 million now” I, however, can say pretty firmly, that these fans are in fact, casuals. Go to Hawks fans posts and forums to get a better grasp of what peopl...

Every year, there’s always a story or two about a player who no one thought had any shot of competing for an NBA roster. A player everyone counted out, but then whether through an extremely impressive summer league performance, a standout year in some summer tournament, or a really impressive camp/preseason, a player finds his way on to an NBA roster. This year, that player could be Japanese po...
“He Could Do it All” | John Havlicek: Top 25 Greatest Players in NBA History
Переглядів 6793 місяці тому
At #24 in the Greatest Payers of All Time series is none other than John Havlicek. Havlicek is a player who rarely gets the credit he is due by the general basketball public. You're looking at a player who was consistently one of the best players in the league throughout his career, but he’s often an afterthought from his era when you ask an average NBA fan. I personally consider this an absolu...

"One Of The Best Scoring Prospects in Years" | Who Is Ace Bailey Really?
Переглядів 6935 місяців тому
For the 2025 draft, all eyes are currently on Cooper Flagg, and for good reason, Cooper is a great prospect and has very few holes in his game. That being said, the 2025 class is talented, and Cooper isn’t the only elite prospect at the top end of the draft. One can even make the argument that there is another player near the top end of prospects in 2025 who has even higher of a ceiling than Co...
"One Of The Most Well Rounded Prospects We Have Seen" | Who is Cooper Flagg Really?
Переглядів 2665 місяців тому
The 2024 draft was considered a down year. With 2023 having Victor Wembanyama, a generational level prospect, 2024 didn’t really have any top level guys at all (at least as far as prospects go, some may overachieve). 2025 is considered a step back up, with numerous high level prospects, none more hyped than Cooper Flagg. Considered by many to be the clear top player in the 2025 draft class, man...
Does Bronny James Have More Potential Than We Think?
Переглядів 1,3 тис.7 місяців тому
With the 55th pick in the NBA Draft, the Lost Angeles Lakers selected Bronny James out of USC. Typically, the 55th pick would garner nearly 0 attention whatsoever, with the player selected projected to likely play very little if none at all as a rookie, with a probable G League assignment expected, and possibly, never even making it to realistic minutes at the NBA level. Bronny, of course, is a...
The Top 10 HIGHEST CEILING PROSPECTS in The 2024 NBA Draft Class
Переглядів 1,4 тис.7 місяців тому
There’s a lot that goes into determining what makes a player a top prospect in a draft class. You're always factoring in things like fit, production, NBA readiness, and desirable skill sets. But of course the number one, most exciting thing that everyone talks about is: what prospects have the chance to make that leap and become a true all star or superstar level player? Who has that superstar ...
Dalton Knecht: WELCOME TO THE LAKERS | 2024 NBA Draft Scouting Report

Dalton Knecht’s path to the pros is pretty remarkable. With basically 0 college interest He attended a junior college in Colorado. He then proceeded to get exponentially better every single year of his college career, first transferring to Northern Colorado, then Tennessee in his final year and dominating at every single stop. Now, as he enters the NBA draft, the conversation becomes, “will he ...

Everyone is looking for the next Giannis in the draft. A late lottery to mid 1st player who is raw but ends up developing into an absolute dominant force that changes the direction of a franchise. The thing about a Giannis is, you never can actually predict it. No one knows who is going to make that crazy leap as a player, and who is going to stagnate and become a wasted pick. But you can TRY t...
Rob Dillingham: WELCOME TO THE TIMBERWOLVES | 2024 NBA Draft Scouting Report

Rob Dillingham has to be considered one of the most fun players to watch in the entire 2024 NBA Draft class. Ever since his Donda Academy and Overtime Elite days, he’s had viral video after viral video of his aggressive, over the top style play, and while he came under more control playing in the more organized system of Kentucky this year he still provided a ton of highlights while looking muc...
Donovan Clingan: WELCOME TO THE TRAIL BLAZERS | 2024 NBA Draft Scouting Report

UConn was the first team to go back to back to back for the NCAA national title in well over a decade, and one of the only players that was a key cog for BOTH of those UConn teams is Donovan Clingan. In the first year, Clingan played a crucial backup role to dominant college big man Adama Sonogo, but this year, Clingan stepped in and became a dominant player in his own right, becoming a force a...

Reed Sheppard recently closed out an incredible season as a freshman for the Kentucky Wildcats, even with absurd shot making percentages and really high level defensive numbers, it’s rare to see a player like him as high as he is in mock drafts, but here we are. Many people are stunned he’s being mocked this highly, But there’s a lot of reasons it makes sense. Some people have expressed concern...

Who Was ACTUALLY BETTER: Giannis Antetokounmpo, or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar? | NBA Versus
That’s fair personally I think Jokic has surpassed him but Dirk is 2 right now
How is D Thompson S tier? but Walton isn't? Walton is top 50 and 75 greatest all time, 2 time champ, 1 time mvp, 1 time fmvp.
You should do it reversed, how well they would do in the 60s or what not
S: Bird, Dr. J, Walton - I think each of them would be even more unguardable, and while Bird would have the 3 point line, J would make it to the basket much easier and quicker today. Walton would probably be a load management player and would benefit a lot from today's medical tech - he career would be longer and he would be arguably more dominant. A: Kareem, Magic, Cowens C: Moses - Unfortunately as much as I like Moses, the game is less about rebounding today and less about the big man, I don't see him doing as well, even if he can just dominate the post like Shaq.
Personally I think Wilt would avg crazy numbers still, however many points he wanted tbh - the only situation where that doesn't happen is if the coaches take the ball out is hands other wise, Idk who's gonna stop him from scoring like 40 a night and grabbing 15 rbs while getting 4 blocks and 6 assists. Personally I would go Wilt, , Oscar - S Cousy, Pettit, Russel - A (I think Cousy would do even crazier things but also get better at shooting, while Russel would probably just run and dunk like Shaq but he can't be as strong at D with the new rules) Wes, Willis - C
I think that last part is fair, otherwise I would've given it to Kareem.
🚀
Way better the LeChoke by miles and miles
The legend.
You sound young as shit you don’t know anything about that man he was a beast
K Mart was a dog
As a Rockets fan, I wish Yao could have stayed healthy throughout his career. I was surprised when he was inducted into the HoF since his stats seem good, not great. His global impact is remarkable though.
The fact these were all Live Game too. Like, he could've just laid it up, but he chose maximum coolness.
They curse that guy
He iight, Jordan was the best dunker and shooter he could yam it on you in the regular, post season playoffs and or finals as well as make clutch shots with a defensive chip on his shoulder. Ill give vince number 3 after Dominque at 2.
Jason Williams... Shaq picked Jason Williams recently as the player with the best handles he's ever seen
He plays like a more confident version of Sam Perkins.
Rob is the real roty
Growing up in Dallas was a favorite non Mav player
I'll take Larry Legend for the win!
Reggie Lewis also
Well he was ready immediately
He was better than everyone under him at the time.
Who are the 4 pg over him?
West, Robertson, Curry, Magic
@@hoophierarchycurry don't pass. Pgs pass, curry and west are more like tweener guards..
I’ve been saying these facts all the time. Wilt is goat
Did you call him a bust?
He's been struggling as of recent. Do you think he'll pick it back up?
Late response a bit, but I do feel like he takes a bit of a backseat when Andrew Nembhard plays. I think he still has the potential to be an elite scorer, but it’s hard to see a window with the Pacers current roster construction unless they change their gameplan
@hoophierarchy no worries at all. And yeah i completely agree. They've been playing him at SF too and Nembhard at SG.. Nembhard almost outshines him every game. I hope they just play him off the bench and actually let Mathurin play his true position
@@hoophierarchy lol he just had a crazy game too, 27 points and ridiculous defense
Chris was nice had no heart. He was very soft emotionally
#3 is the best in-game alley oop dunk ever. Prove me wrong, show me a better one.
Yea this video shouldn’t even exist, it’s Larry Bird and it’s not even close. LeBron and Larry is a better debate.
Watching this now, it amazes me how elite of a defensive force Amen became in only his 2nd year. His length, IQ, effort, and anticipation pairs alongside his 99th percentile athleticism made him one of the best and most versatile defender in the NBA. His outside shooting was nonexistent in his rookie year. But for him to make such drastic improvement on his 3pt percentage, improving from 14% to 30% really raised his overall ceiling.
Nope. This is about recency bias. Kobe is not the greatest Laker, either. Kareem and/or Magic own that. The value of all time greats gets discounted over time. No different young fans discount Bill Russell for Larry Bird even though Russell is not just the best Celtic but arguably the NBA's greatest player. His only true rivals being Kareem and Jordan. Why championships and MVPS. They are the three players who dominate those categories!!
Do note that being the best Buck of all time does not mean Giannis is a better player than Kareem. Kareem is clearly a top 5 if not top 3 player ever. It’s about legacy with a single team, and Giannis’ accolades with the Bucks are arguably more impressive than Kareem’s, even though as a whole Kareem has clearly had a better career
Your points are interesting and valid. However, I believe your prediction of his production on NBA might have underestimated Oscar’s potential. In 1992 Olympics, Oscar scored 24 points against the USA Dream Team being guarded by Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Clyde Drexler, and to your point his team mates we’re not comparable to NBA players.
80s basketball was good but 90s basketball was beautiful. Miss 90s basketball style. Sick of 3s, big guys even shooting 3s. Be dominate geesh!
Dude. You know nothing about Basketball to even say bust in the same sentence. Channels like this is why average watchers think this new ear nba is actually good Basketball. You need to do some better research.
Reminds of Luka and Dirk, but might even have shot the ball better than Dirk, next look at Sabonis before the NBA, maybe the most dominant player of all time, 7 foot 4 and about 280 when young, older he was larger than Shaq and more skilled with destroyed knees and feet.
One of the best shooters ever and yet he’s not mentioned nearly enough.
Agreed
After a month and some change how do you feel about Salaun atp ? There’s definitely some playmaking flashes and flatout reads that he’s making. Some time with the coaching staff and Greensboro will do amazing for him !
This man had over 18,500 points and shot almost 50% FG 75% FT was drafted #1 on a New franchise team and led them from worst to a playoff team by 2nd or 3rd season and a 3x NBA All Star, 23.6 ppg avg for 8 seasons with the Mavs...20ppg Overall NBA career 2x NBA champion( Pistons)... 2x Consensus 1st team All-American sporting news player of the year (1981). The reason I added the college accolades was it is considered if your stats are more than avg to get in. If you don't believe it... Ralph Sampson is in the hall, and Bill Walton...as is some European players who never had his numbers who got in the Hall. As a player in that hard Western conference, nobody could do anything with him... And if you want to look up Magic Johnson's comments about him and a lot of other players, they'll tell you" Mark Auguire was a problem" ...
Soy fanatico de towns pero para mi sería top de la historia si fuera consistente y decisivo en la mayoría de partidos.
Ummm 🧐🤔 the ally-oop from T-MAC between the legs in the dunk contest should definitely be in there 😮🙄🥴😒💯
Its Kyrie
Great video overall, i definitely agree
Amazing how good he was with no left hand
He was a killer
This video 😒
He was a certified bucket
Plus Tim Duncan's team always beats his teams
Tmac makes my starting 5 as a small forward
