Deniece Williams is in my opinion the best singer of her generation and in my top five starting lineup of best female singers of the 20th century. 21st century divas should thank God she’s not coming as hard now as she did in the 70s and 80s. If she did, most of today’s vocal VIPs would still be waiting at the bar for a table, let alone receiving the display table treatment they’re now getting.
Esto es una verdadera diva con la voz intacta nada le ha cambiado y en escenario es toda una dama , Dios te bendiga esa voz por muchos años más , te amo
Wow...just wow. Aged like a fine wine. Absolutely amazing. Just when I thought I couldn't love her anymore. Working that stage like its 1984. She is still absolute perfection. I don't know that I could speak if she was in front of me :-). She is a legend. Still a stunning beauty and my God, that voice. Like pure sugar in my ears. I love you Deniece!!!
Wow! so many great memories from my youth listening to this amazing song by Deniece Williams! God bless her and her amazing singing talent! she is really amazing. Thanks for the upload, you made my day!
It's time to dance and jam to a 1984 soundtrack hit that went to the charts LHIFTB from Footloose did just that coming from one woman Deniece "Niecy" Williams
I remember hearing this song on the radio as a kid traveling down the highway going to our destination for my parents and grandparents vacation during the summer! It was also on the cassette tape that came with our family van in 1985! It was a good passing time kind of song to listen to as I dozed off asleep! No pun intended as it's a great song! :)
Aaron Lohr the little boy on denice williams video "let's heart it for the boy" that's cool to know he's doing fine today and married to idina menzel (movie .. frozen)

Loved this song since I was 9 years old. 46 now and I still do. And what a vocalist and performer this lady truly is.
black women always kill it in vocals, no matter how much they age

The fact that she can still hit those crazy high vocals is mind blowing. Very nicely done

Her voice is the same. I miss those days. I miss the innocent music. I miss hearing a Christian woman singing her heart out on a pop song.
