Kingpin is very underrated. On the surface, it is just a silly, dirty comedy. But there’s some sweet stuff there below the surface. I always find myself coming back to it periodically.
Kingpin is so superior to Dumb and Dumber. It’s one of the best comedies of the 90’s, Murray and Harrelson at their comedic best. Ern McCracken, what a character! 😆 I’m guessing it was underestimated on release because it was seen as just another Farrelly brothers film.

I was raised on dumb and dumber so I prefer it for personal reasons but Kingpin is really, really funny
